#facepalms!

Who says I was "using the phone while driving"? I pulled over and took the first pic through the window of the car. I imagine the glass obscured its clarity. Then I opened the door and took the other two. How does that constitute a violation of traffic laws??

You rushed in here to criticise because some other poster summoned you to do so, and in your haste, you just made a mess of yourself.

Sorry bro, next time, ask questions before throwing shades.

Thanks.

The bolded, I believe you're educated and know the difference between questions and statements right? So what were in my previous post if not questions?

By the way, why pullover that close to a roundabout? Don't you still think it's freaking dangerous?

Was on my way out of Makurdi and decided to pick up a coleague from Benue State University. On my way out, my eyes caught sight of this raged Nigerian flag placed conspicuously close to the office of the Vice Chancellor. I must confess this really broke my heart!

Any institution within the boundaries of this country ought to uphold the spirit of our "Nigerianess" with dignity and pride. Two of such items, amongst many others, that serve as symbols of our nationality are the Official Portrait of the President and our National Flag. I have never seen the official portrait of any of our ex presidents looking so shabby or treated with such disdain during their tenure. As a matter of fact, for national identity, the flag comes first before any other item, so it becomes incomprehensible why Nigerians have a penchant for abusing it.

We understand that citizens of a country cannot be forced to be patriotic, but institutions of government MUST be/be seen to be patriotic.

I think it is high time we pushed for severe sanctions for heads of public institutions seen to be doing this. I believe it is the only way to nip this very shameful trend in the bud. I hear someone say bring back #WAIC!

If a pristine flag cannot be flown/used, then none should be at all.

God bless Nigeria!!

Is this worth breaking the rules for? In trying to address an issue (which can't in any way lead to loss of lives), you're breaking the traffic laws of the country, in which case can lead to accident and subsequently, loss of lives. Why do you have to use your phone while driving on the highway, oh ye "patriotic Nigerian"? angry undecided

Buhari is very smart. He was asked of 2016 budget and instead of answering the question told us of one 400 million naira that was supposed to buy him cars in 2015 which he rejected, then acted coy when he was pressed further on the 3.6 billion Naira for BMW. This way the gullible people of naija are defending him that he rejected cars last year grin Apart from the cars there are millions budgeted for tyres, C caution, batteries, coaster buses and all but since he himself won't drive them they don't count abi.
It's like a man caught toasting his neighbours 16 year old daughter who doesn't even have breast and to defend himself reminds you that last year the 21 year old with killer curves stood stark naked in front of him and he rejected her grin grin grin grin grin

Chai! God bless you for this!

Hehehehehe! That one is gone forever. You don't expect any meaningful thing from him do you? I still maintain that even if the president gives orders for his whole family members (if they're PDP supporters) to be eliminated, he'll still sing the praises of the president even if his family members are all innocent.

APC is ruling with propaganda today but they are using tribalism as a superior tool to rule

What do you expect from APC supporters? She's my friend on here but that doesn't take away the fact that I know their mindset. They are very good at the tribalism game and I won't even go down that lane. Btw, I'll keep mentioning modaft until she changes her mindset...

ronald4lif:
This is really good and a welcome development. The police have no right to access people's phones without any tangible recourse to do so.

I remember an incident that happened to me in Festac years ago. I was making calls and on getting to a police check point these mofos stopped me and started asking silly questions. From the receipt of the car spare parts I went to buy at Ladipo to the reason I was in possession of more than one phone. Before I knew it one of them dragged my phone and started assessing it.

To my utter dismay and shock the mofo opened a text message of a western union transfer a brother had made to me and said I must be a yahoo boy. With all pleading and explanation falling on deaf ears I was taking to their station in Festac. Safe for the timely intervention of a friend who was driving pass and saw when we were going to the station and followed us, I would have found myself behind bars for no reason. Did I mention we parted ways with 25K just to secure my release? These thieves are crazy.

Nwanne'm oh! You 4ked up. You should have told them these:

Don't you know who I be?
Are you shitting me
Am from the states men, and this right here is messed up
Nigger better ask about me
Cuz it's about to go down in this murda..
I ain't no snitch
And I ain't snitching to no damn cops...
grin grin grin

On topic, the police and NA (followed by Navy) are the worst set of human beings we have in Nigeria, especially when it comes to dealing with law abiding citizen. Imagine that some foolish police officers on mufty blocked me back in 2011 when I was on IT. They asked for my bag and started searching it. Luckily for me, I left my laptop at home so the fools asked me to keep moving when they didn't see anything in my bag (apart from my changeover cloth). Chai, I vex eh, but I no fit shout...

The outdated piece of extinct junk will create more revenue if it is used as a tourist site instead of sitting there, wasting space, gulping money meant for better things.

Go and advise your dullard slave master! Id'iot!

The senseless buffoôn told you he's Igbo. I mean, like who gives a flying fûck if a goat is from the east? I think he should channel his frustration to his parent that had him outside wedlock rather than constituting nuisance here. By the way, you have time replying the stewpid lûnatic.

Btw, I love the bolded! I believe since it's the oldest refinery of the 21st century, it should be converted to a tourist site and will therefore generate more revenue... cheesy grin

Blame Buhari because he built that ancient of days during his time as a petroleum minister. It appears, that Buhari, due to his looting capacity and lack of fore site constructed that stone age crap which was listed as one of his useless achievements.

But I won't be surprised if some morônic sycopate blame the refinery wahala on GEJ..
