Politics / Re: Sir Alan Sugar Under Fire Over 'NIGERIA Insult' - BBC call Dr.Tafida 'a Person ' by Code128: 9:21am On Oct 24, 2010
I have quite a bit of respect for Sir Alan, but there is NO excuse for such an outrageous statement. I understand how the odds are that an email scam in your inbox is from a Nigerian. The odds are also on the side of any terrorist activity being Moslem related but he wouldn't be caught making such statements in public. Why is Nigeria different?

@ Gabry

I never knew there was something called "Public Display of Affection", until I kissed a GF in Nigeria after she got down from a Taxi and she said something about not being into PDA. To me, it's a culture thing, she was probably bothered about what people would think of her and general shyness.

In some countries kissing friends and strangers is the norm. To me, kissing in public is great, and I mean a kiss nothing more. If my GF can't kiss in public, I would wonder if I am really her BF.

Romance / Re: Get Married Early Otherwise You're An Old Woman! by Code128: 7:42pm On Aug 19, 2010
I have quite a number of female friends, all around 24 - 27. I'd say about 10% are married and they ALL want to get married ASAP. It's not that they are putting dating aside to chase a career. That's just a facade, quite the contrary.

Yes, they are working women, they have jobs, but not exactly fighting to advance a career as you would put it. They are very open to dating,  but where do they start looking. Truth is most ladies that get married early are either married to a chap they met in school or an arranged marriage, outside of that, it's rather TOUGH,  and this goes for both sexes.

Romance / Re: How To Maintain And Control A Woman by Code128: 11:55pm On Feb 10, 2010
Platinum replies to David by exaggerating his point in an attempt to prove him wrong. As expected, David replies, also exaggerating Platinums point as well as trying to salvage his already misconstrued point, Platinum replies, what a mess!

You both clearly have different beliefs and neither of you will successfully convince the other! The good thing is there's someone for everyone, so just free yourselves OK.

@Elzaur

We have heard you. We all have different opinions, yours is great and works well for you.

On topic however, just the same way I can't stand girls that are all over me, and there are plenty of them. Some women do not appreciate this sort of behaviour, some do of course. As a man, you need to understand who you're dealing with and treat them accordingly. This does not translate into being mean or being an Animal or Nigerian as some of you have suggested. It simply means that if you want to "keep" that woman, you need to know and "do" what it takes to. I for one, get bored of girls that are overly lovy-dovy. So if your woman does not appreciate clingy behaviour, don't be so clingy, make her want you.

OPs post has some major flaws, like the cheating bit, but there's definitely many valid points, that some of us will tend to agree with.

@poster

Gospel Truth! It feels like you're giving away my secret.

Although from my experience, you really only need to exercise this if you have a rather high taste in women, those are the ones that typically need "controlling". The lower class ladies are not even a challenge. This would be overkill for them.

I took the job.

Turns out the entire package is roughly 4.4m.
Career / Dilemma by Code128: 11:35pm On Aug 27, 2009
I have a job that pays just over 2M. Great job, no major qualms.

However, I just got my dream job, but, the offer says:

"Starting Salary: N1,271,000 per annum"
"The compensation package is excluding housing, transportation, lunch and service allowances."

What to do? What to do?
