Politics / Igbos Must Join Hands To Defeat And Drive Ipob Out Of Igbo Land by Coldie(m): 1:03pm On Aug 15
Ipob and Biafra has only brought us death and destruction. Anytime the cry for Biafra starts getting loud just know death is hovering around. We can’t continue to lose our people to this plague.

We have kept quiet for far too long while ipob destroyed the east, now ipob is trying to get to Igbos outside the east. They are trying to provoke an attack on Igbos outside the east and they won’t stop until they get it.

They tried this with Buhari death, it didn’t work.
They had to insert themselves into endsars that gave yoruba ronu the opportunity to pin it on igbo people.
They have been trying over and over, I hv seen them do it, now they are trying again.

Should we as Igbos keep quiet until this people have severed every bridge, so that when the attack start coming they would wait in igbo land to finish the remaining of us who survive it.

Nnamdi Kanu should not be released now, until he provides Simon ekpa.

@The three bolded points,

Point 1: It is apparent you are either trying to twist and gaslight on the meaning of the word "LOYALTY ". A People that in 1967 broke away from the country Nigeria in stiff necked rebellion can not be labelled as loyal to Nigeria. Nnamdi Kanu is shackled in the DSS facility currently for not being loyal and leading Ibos in rebellion and uprising against Nigeria. Simon Ekpa who is the acolyte of Nnamdi Kanu is currently leading an Ibo supremacist inspired rebellion and insurrection against Nigeria. It is a known fact that the average Ibo is rebellious and opposed to Nigeria as a country and covertly and overtly supports Biafra over Nigeria. The word LOYALTY can never be applied to the Ibo except the word has a new meaning and etymology.

Point 2: Ikwerre people are clearly aware of the surreptitious domination and subjugation policy of the Ibo. Your attempt to create a non existent filial relationship is dead on arrival because the Ikwerre people can see through your lies and duplicitous nature. What the minorities went through when erroneously yoked with the Ibo before, during and after the civil war is enough lesson to the Ikwerre to distance themselves from the Ibo. He who eats with a devil obviously needs a long spoon.

Point 3: As I have pointed out several times on these boards, the two seat ports in Port Harcourt based at Abonema and Onne respectively are operating at optimal levels. Bonded terminals to contain the excess cargo in containers are all over Port Harcourt from Akpajo to Trans Amadi industrial area. If these two ports were not operating optimally no business man would sink his money into opening a bonded terminal that will be non operational.
The two ports in Port Harcourt are operating. Ibos make use of these ports to the best of my knowledge. The fact that you live in a land locked area is not an obstacle to prevent you utilising the neighbouring Port Harcourt sea ports. If you decide in your illiteracy to leave the ports around you to go and use distant Lagos sea ports because the Ikwerre people have refused to allow you to subjugate them. That is clearly your business.

Finally the Ogbakor Ikwerre which is a union older and superior to Ohaneze Ndigbo has severally through various communique and speeches duly informed you that they are not Ibo,do not want to be associated with Ibo and do not wish to be addressed as Ibo. What part of this do the Ibo not understand? Why this by force association except to be duplicitous, subjugate and dominate?
The Ikwerre do not want to associate with you. They have told you this since the 1963 Ogbakor Ikwerre declaration. Leave them alone. Stop trying to guilt trip the Iwhuruohna people into accepting they are Ibo. Enough is enough.
Like I said before, people who want to get deceived should continue to get deceived.

Allow Yoruba ronu to continue to deceive you, people who are selfish and care about absolutely nobody but themselves, just like I said before when u tell people what they are doing infront of ur eyes that all of u can see and make judgement of, they will point you to sth that happened 70years ago to when u can’t really understand.

The one that you can understand right now, you guys should judge for yourselves.
Politics / Re: History Of The Ikwerre People By Professor Eric Amadi by Coldie(m): 9:03pm On Aug 06
SS people should continue to let some selfish people who don’t care about anybody but themselves play them.

Igbos have shown our loyalty to the south and to Nigeria far too many times, but these people only care about themselves, they dont even care about Nigeria. That is y they are the only people who are known to push tribalism.

Igbos are the bad people when u ask them how they would show you sth that happened 100years ago when you can’t explain the situation or context of what it happened, but the one you are seeing with your two eyes they will gaslight you into not thinking it exists by still pointing you to sth that happened 100years ago.

Igbos hate SS people yet, Gej reelection they ganged up and removed him, this is a region that between 1999 till now they have produced president 8years, VP another 8years, you will think they should be fair by allowing another part of the south to have a feel, they still went collected it again.

You would think when amechi was fighting with these people he would think since they have done President 8years, and VP another 8years they will allow another region touch this power, they instead cornered it to themselves.

When Jonathan was in power we saw how he didn’t just carry the whole south along, he carried the whole of Nigeria along, but these people it’s just them alone, no other person matters.

Just as they bought over Amaechi and deceived him when shit got to shove that’s how they have bought over Wike and they will deceive him on the last minute and make another yoruba ronu man VP.

Their plan is themselves and them alone.

SS people are being gaslighted to hate igbo people look at the margin SW has given us since then, the difference between the west and the east didn’t use to be much we were all competing, but now see the gap west is giving the east.

I ask u people listening to this yoruba ronu selfish people tell u igbos are your enemies, as Lagos is developing which states are directly benefiting from its development? Is it not the surrounding SW states?

If today PH or Abia or Akwa Ibom develop won’t all of us benefit?

SS has a long coastline that has been rendered almost useless and people from Nigeria are all going to Lagos for sea ports operations and instead of u people to ask questions you guys were ok with it.

Majority of the oil is in the Niger delta but their headquarters are in Lagos, same people are still asking other people to leave Lagos. Instead of people to say this is not right, they will tell you in the year 1920 this happened and you people will shift your focus while they continue to cheat others.

I just laugh, make Una continue to fall mugu

No doubts mistakes were made but don’t let people whose way to clinge Nigeria into perpetual suffering is by causing division in Nigeria.

If in this day with all the education some Igbos, especially those who haven’t been outside the east, still see ikwerre as igbo, because of the name similarities and language similarities. In this age of information, is it not ignorance pushing them, rather than any form of agenda?

Don’t let a yoruba ronu deceive you, they will make it seem like you are ur friend just for their agenda but when all chips are down they will remind you that you are omo igbo.

Go and ask SS people who stay in Lagos let them tell you what they are facing, not to talk of ikwerre who have lots of similarities with Igbos.

Politics / Peter Obi Would Only Serve One Term by Coldie(m): 9:40pm On Jul 27
I am pro Nigeria and I respect the law of rotation of power, Tinubu has served 4years and if Peter obi was to win in 2027 it won’t be fair for him to serve 8years as president, as a result of the rotation of power agreement between the north and the south.

I as an igbo man, I give my word to the north that Peter Obi would only serve one term, he might come back another time to complete his 2nd term as President. I say this as an igbo man and I put it to everyone listening that Peter obi is a honorable man and he would keep to this agreement.

Peter Obi would serve his first 4years and prove to Nigerians that they have made a big mistake not voting an igbo man. Peter obi would serve his 4years and nobody would hear any agitation for Biafra, so any thoughts on Peter obi wanting to break Nigeria as an igbo man would be proven as lies.

I put it to every Nigerian reading this, if Peter obi rules Nigeria and the next election was to hold and there’s any rigging or malpractices, the igbo man should never be trusted ever again.

I want to prove to Nigerians that there’s a reason y before igbo marginalisation started Nigeria used to be great, whether people say we are responsible directly or indirectly for what happened to Nigeria, allow us fix it. I assure all of you that we would fix it in 4years.

If Nigerians see the 4years and say Peter obi should continue, we won’t be able to do it as we already have our word and we intend to keep it.

Protesting now is a total waste of time. It would ultimately turn into a looting spree, cause people are very hungry while being angry.

Hold your anger for 2027, sharpen your machetes, keep your fuel, stock pile your bullets for anybody that attempts to rig 2027 elections. Rain hell on them, descend that fury that has been bottled all through these 4years of hell under any party that tries to rig the elections.

All those people committing suicide, stop wasting your deaths and use it for a noble cause to save our country. 2027 be our shield but make sure you send your attackers to heaven with you.

Dying without sending your attacker to heaven with you is cowardice.

If u protest now, sth drastic would happen that will make alot of Nigerians become scared of doing anything when it’s 2027. Like I said hold your anger till election day.

I hv given u ur answer, u hv just made up ur mind to beleive what you want.

Government whether state, military or federal control information. Many non eastern states are anti Biafra, in the east you can publish Biafra memoirs or books, since you are surrounded with easterners and eastern government the consequences might be minimal, but outside the east. Just u talking about it can provoke attack from citizens, mk the state or local government sanction you. This here is a fact. It’s not every story that makes it to the internet as a result of the fact that the internet is just 2 decades old, the Biafran war happened almost 60years ago.

That apart I don’t really give a F what u think of my opinion, I hv asked u questions over 10times in different threads and u didn’t answer any, so i don’t owe u anything.

After the civil war ended, majority of the Biafran soldiers were arrested, tortured and interrogated about absolutely everything, to enable they get every information, collaborators, spies, mole, everything. That was how they got the information on how victor banjo and Emmanuel ifeajuna was executed by ojukwu.

If there was information about the execution of the man who gave the name Biafra, it would hv been exposed too. That information would hv been very helpful to make the south south people despise us much, to show them that a man who allied himself with Biafra wand even helped give it its name was executed by ojukwu, as still executed.

I also want to use this opportunity to dispel this lie that has been spread for generations, that igbos killed and tortured south south people.

The fact here is that there were killings and atrocities from both parties.

When the war started there were recruits from all over the eastern region, most of them descended on easterners in the east who were pro Nigeria, whether igbo or non igbo, this is a fact. I can even prove this.

But when Nigerians took over regions, what they did was root out easterners who were pro Biafra and descend on them too, history only remembers the victor’s and it’s certain that in every war, winning the battle is not the price, but winning the war is.

The government of Nigeria who won the war made sure it put things in place to weed out Biafran supporters and the remnants in minority regions out, by the time the war was over they had all either disappeared or had to live a lie to save their lives.

Anybody who says I lie, that Biafrans were the only people that committed atrocities on south south people, should come and tell us y Philip effiongs people who supported Biafra totally disappeared from the map.

If u look at history it would seem as if apart from Philip effiong, no other south south person supported Biafra.

The name Biafra was given by an Ijaw man, what happened to him and his family and his supporters too?

Foolishness is when you ommit the fact that the SS people in the then eastern region had already began a process to leave the eastern region with their oil in tow.

Enugu decided to stage a coup to prevent this from happening and that's why they targeted all the regional leaders that had given their blessing to support the carving out of COR region from the Eastern region.

The timing of the coup betrays the ambitions of the Jan 15 coupists because it was carried out just in time to prevent the federal House from reconvening after a long Christmas break. The first item on the docket before Parliament was the motion to grant a plebescite for the minority peoples of the old eastern region to have their own region. The proposed region was were all the oil wealth was located.

So the greed of having SS oil is what led to your grandfather's foolishness.

Even Baron Rothschild sent one of his henchmen in late 1965 to negotiate on how to carry out the coup . One of the notorious London crime bosses (Kray Twins) visited Enugu at this time.

Foolishness is when u fail to say, as at the time ojukwu and the east seceded, ojukwu was military governor of the east, whether minorities were asking for their own region, the present situation as at then was ojukwu was military governor of the east and that’s a fact. So because he is military governor of the east, and his people are being massacred with nothing being done, he shouldn’t negotiate with other eastern minorities about their stake in the east or their stand but instead he should let his people which were not just Igbos but other eastern minorities, continue to get massacred, cause he doesn’t want it to seem like he wants their oil, do u know how foolish this sounds?
Ojukwu was after oil yet ojukwu was more interested in protecting his people than oil, yet people that were not after oil were more interested in protecting oil assets in the east than the people of both the minorities and Igbos.

World look at the mentality of people u guys are listening to all these while. That told you igbos want ur oil. 30years later didn’t it become clear on who really wanted Niger delta oil, it took 30years for there to be a realisation and a massive revolt against the Nigerian government by the SS.

If not for the fact that Nigeria as a whole learnt from what happened to Biafra, I bet u the Niger delta crisis of the early 2000’s would have been a battle for secession.

I put this to all of you who say igbos wanted Niger delta oil, to prove me wrong, if I see any single iota of lie in anything you say, I see the rest as lies?

From the Willink report. It's obvious why COR movement wouldn't have succeeded without a military fiat.

1. Eastern region was run on equity, justice and fairness. All minorities were given sense of belonging.
They could complain of Igbo domination, but there was no truth to it. Every single Eastern region appointment and projects, always reflected 1/3 population representation of the minorities.
They were never cheated.

2. NCNC had many minority heavy weights who were part and parcel of Zik inner cycle. They knew the party was never tribal. Mbu, Akpan, Imoke, Akpabio. They knew the truth and were always going to keep the East united.

3. In as much as the minorities were scared of Igbo domination, they were scared of Each other too.
The Ikwerre, Etches, Ogba, Abua, in Rivers province were weary of Ijaw domination if they joined Ijaws to form Rivers. They were lukewarm to the agitation.
Likewise the minorities in Ogoja (Northern Cross River) were scared of Efik/Ibibio domination.
It cancelled out their fear of Igbo domination and stagnated the COR movement.

Here is the thread on COR creation, to dispel all the lies about Igbos being scared because of oil, read and enlighten yourselves. Truth will always remain truth.

The point I am raising is that the Ibo were against referendum and seccession in the beginning because they felt that they had a very good chance to be the leaders in an emerging country. It was when they failed to achieve that leadership politically that their military wing decided to execute the coup of January 1966 and when they were checkmated by the counter coup of July 1966 they now decided to secede in 1967 and create Biafra. I wonder what coldie,Giddygiddy and LOVEALAIGBO have to say on this?
This is the 5th time I would make u feel like u are just talking from an ignorant perspective.

No doubt igbos opposed secession in 1953, the reason igbos started demanding for secession was after a purely leadership affairs spilled into the streets and easterners started getting massacred enmass without stop.

Our people were being killed and the Gowon government wasn’t doing anything about it, I remember when a burial happened in the mid west, northern soldiers attended the burial drove down to a prison and killed the igbo soldiers and civilians in it. David ejoor petitioned Gowon against it and nothing was done.

We were being killed and nothing was being done, so were u expecting us to wait out our deaths?

Ojukwu tried to resolve the conflict with Gowon and they agreed on aburi accord, same Gowon refused to honour it.

I ask you confusedlady? If it had been the west that it’s people were being killed and nothing was been done about it, government wasn’t helping, international community wasn’t helping, they tried to resolve the matter with the FG yet nothing.

I ask you, what would you or your region have done?

If declaring Biafra at a time when we were on the brink of being wiped out with nothing being done was wrong, I put it to you and I ask you, tell us what option we have?

If you can’t give a reasonable response tells that you are your likes are just talking without anything to offer or out of sentiments?

If the counter coup had happened and ended in government houses and barracks, ALL OF US READING this this know, nobody would have pushed for secession.

You can’t push a dog to the wall and expect not to bite. I ask you confuseslady again, tell us the options u think we should have taken while our people were being massacred in Nigeria and nothing was been done.

I read the reputable ones as well as the self centred Ibo Onitsha main market literature ones like the self acclaimed intelligence officer Ben Odogwu's own. I read Achebes book which wasn't worth the paper it was written on. I read Ken Saro Wiwa and Elechi Amadi. I read Max Siollioun. I read Madiebo.
