Interesting.

It is almost as if the woman does not exist outside her union with a man. undecided

This woman (be she single, married, separated, divorced, widowed, etc.) is a full member of society and nobody has the right to violate her body, full stop. That is what needs to be emphasized. Her marital status is not the issue.

i agree with you totally, I only use that as an example, I said if it happened up north, by now it's murder case we will be talking about especially if she is married.

How am I trying to shut him up or dictate what he should post? He says that's what I'm trying to do, and you're echoing it, but how? Has anyone ever hindered him from posting before? Did I contact him to that effect? Can it be shown where I told him not to post whatever has pleased? Why was my post so triggering? Maybe there's something you can tell me about that. If he has that many haters/observers on the forum, why pick on my post?

I used to enjoy his threads until they became like this one. The amount of polarity on the forum is sickening already, why e it? If you check my posts, I am what a subset of forum users call a feminist and some more. But on this thread the sentiment isn't about an assault. I will be sure to avoid such threads in future.
you just using reverse psychology that's all.. You are trying to shut him up by saying "I use to enjoy his thread until it became like this one" my question is what exactly is wrong with this his thread?naptu post what is going on in the society, he didn't add nor remove from the news... What exactly is wrong with this thread, where is the polarity.

Tell me how exactly I'm trying to shut this naptu up. Explain how my observation was designed to shut this naptu up. Am I a mod? Is the naptu a mod?

If more than one person is observing it, maybe it is true.

It's more likely that you and they are trying to shut me up? The way you've all sidestepped my observation to turn it into some sort of claim. Maybe because you think I'm an Igbo person for observing what I did?
am not trying to shut you up, I just encouraged you to do your own post that are true with facts like him.
You said more than one person observing.. Oh well that moniker has been on this platform for almost 10 years now, why now are your guys making your observations, what changed, plus am also aware one person can be ten people on this platform with different moniker.. That's not difficult to do.

Do yours leave him alone, you don't need to post what you did on his thread if you have nothing to contribute to the topic at hand, because your earlier post had nothing to do with someone slapping someone because he was not allowed to touch a married woman breast, if it's your wife another man try that with, will you be happy? If that happened up North the man is as good as dead. Face the message not the messenger.

Everything is too polarized here. Men versus women. Igbo versus YouTube versus Hausa. How do people enjoy such polarity, then turn around to say it doesn't exist and that they are the victims?
oga we need not to generalize things, what you are trying to do is very simple, just trying to shut Naptu up on nairaland.com because of the kind of respect he commands among members, same question i will ask you that I asked someone yesterday that opened a thread to complain of Naptu been bias towards Igbos, same question I will throw to you now, is there any post Naptu posted that you find out not be true? If there is one highlight it, if there is non whatever you accusing him of, you too start posting yours too and let him be.

Naptu2 should promote general topics not certain leanings. It was terrible during the election period as there was nothing to read but hate and shared hate.

I began noticing more of such tribalism and ethnic hate from shares to me and it was disgusting what people would support.
so he should not post what is going on again in Lagos because the said offender is Igbo?
I really don't understand how some people think, are you saying that you not read any post of naptu post exposing badly behaved Yorubas?

Cos a non entity is saying rubbish made you to call someone useless.

Same dolt is saying no northwestern senate president since.. Has there ever been a SW senate president since start of presidential system in 1979? Even going back to when we had the first Nigerian head of legislative arm.. Nobody should cheat each other. You that doesn't know how the banking system works is castigating someone who by the virtue of his comment knows how the system works. I will not go into that.

But for the sake of your education and for future reference, AMCON was never set up with pension funds. It amazes me how you people come out to display your ignorance.
what virtue of which comment did u make that you talking about?

Tell us what funds was used to set up amcon? Pension funds was a major part of it.. If you don't know at least ask or use Google.

It is not necessarily govt stealing the funds. U can still have access to it whenever u demand for it.
As for the guy saying his father died interstate, that's no issue. Resolve with your siblings get a letter of administration, open an estate account and your father's money will be transferred into the estate account. Simple.
if you know how banking system works. This is nothing but stealing, government takes the money, over a period of 5 years waste it on some frivolous budget, that government account is now reading zero, after 6 years you want to claim an account you are next of kin to, they tell you no money in government coffers.
Do you have any idea what happened to pension funds, used to set up AMCON?

AMCON went to buy alot of toxic assets they can't lay their hands on, many of the assets cases are still in court, do you know who owns that money they use for bailout funds? We the people, our father and mothers sweats, mains stole billions out of it, got less than seven years jail time, while people who owns the money are struggling to get their pension.
The companies MDs whose companies were bailed out plus the failed banks are there free on the street enjoying the money from pension to fund AMCON.

They don't want to create more monet by fist.. Before naira will tumble to a million to a dollar like Zimbabwe and Argentina so anything available they grab and leave the mess to others.

One thing this people don't understand is that if the economy is improved by them, they get richer.. If economy getting worse, no matter how much they stole.. They too will get poorer... It's very simple.

Proposal by this emeifile left and right is just to ruin the economy,
The proposal is dead on arrival, they tried it once, I think someone went to court and court ordered that, those dormant accounts with money in it cannot be calmed by FG because, money is under property law, not necessarily under BOFIA, same ruling was given by the Supreme Court recently with the cash between the states and FG over cashless policy.

Banks are only custodian of money, properties, if the court do not give an order, a bank cannot erase a dormant account to zero... This is not but executive government theft.

This CBN governor is really making me wonder how he rose to be MD of Zenith bank.. His policies are something else.

The CBN is suppose to be a stabilizer of the economy, not coming out every week with policy somersaults, driving the economy into uncertainty, no economy thrive on uncertainty it always spell doom.. No time to plan... Only stable economy grow in long term.

Given directives by who exactly? Not even a head of state under military regime can do it. There are three categories of people resident in Lagos. Indegenes, non indegenes and foreigners. All non indegenes have equal rights. No such thing as a Yoruba job. The more people from southwest exhibit hostile attitude towards fellow non indegenes from other parts of the country, the more they lose trust and jobs from establishments own by non indegenes.
The joke is on them.
please kindly disregard those non entities, we Yorubas will definitely scold them to behave like Omoluabi and be tolerance of your neighbors.

Hmmm. This is very serious and all the Yoruba leaders must listen to them before these Yoruba youths take laws into their own hands.

Unfortunately, this is the fallout of the most toxic form of divisive tribal/religious campaign by the online mob of Mr Obi.

I respect their view and I hold a different opinion I know that most Yoruba hawks do not want to hear or accept because they want the Igbo out and sent back to Igboland after the manner the Igbo hated, mocked and disrespected the Yoruba during the 2023 elections.

In my opinion, the SW states must collaborate by reciprocity. Your Igbo state of origin must have given same opportunity to Yoruba in their land before you can get any opportunity in Yorubaland.

Southwest states must give jobs , land cofo, political apoointments, admission, contracts etc to ONLY indigenes of states that have given same opportunities to the Yoruba living in their land.

Our resources and opportunitie in the SW are finite and the more others come in and are given, the more the Yoruba may likely resent such a system.

Only those states that can collaborate with us by reciprocity genuinely desire our progress.

If we do not do something fast about our all comers approach to opportunities in Lagos and SW that gained currency since 1999, there will be a more serious violent form of this current problem in the future.

States are subnational level of govt and their 1st priority is to their own people.States are not for all comers. It then means if you now want to give opportunities to Igbo, you need to give only to indigenes of SE states giving your indigenes and the Yoruba living on their land same opportunities. That is a sustainable way unless we want xenophobia in Yorubaland.

Since 1999, no single Igbo states has given a political appointment to Yoruba whereas a state like Kaduna has done so. We should collaborate by reciprocation with Kaduna by giving their indigenes jobs over indigenes of a SE state for justice, equity and fair play.

Igbo should not cheat Yoruba and Yoruba should not cheat Igbo.
please stop disgracing Yorubas that support Tinubu... If its about what you are saying and it's applied 75% of all political appointees and elected Politicians that are Yorubas will not hold any position in Lagos but other SW states and Kwara and Kogi.
An Indian is currently the PM of UK, and you want to take us back to dark ages.
I will be happy has a Yoruba person to see Sanwó Olú appoint igbó, Edo, efik or even hausas as commissioners in Lagos to reflect the cosmopolitan nature of the state, everyone is contributing into and be the bigger state in that manner among other states, let's everyone have a sense of belonging, kudos to the management of the monorail awarding merit over nepotism or tribalism.
