Signing up for amazon....
This is a very popular one. You just have to visit the amazon website and click the sign in button at the top end of the site. You'll be required to fill in your email address plus a new password(if you're not a returning customer. After that, you'll be required to verify your email address using a link that will be sent to your inbox.
The next step will then require you to fill in your details and website/blog/twitter account to complete your signup process.
NEXT...how to build a solid twitter profile that will catch followers in their hundreds...watch out

born2lead01: Thanks so much bros for that, I'm not a doctor I just overheard two ladies discussing about the V part (while i was researching into a niche) and I thought I should create a blog related to that. I tried several variations such as care, health, info etc but not available on blogger but was eventually able to see the doctor one.

I just stumbled on the article and I think I found your own template on it. Thanks I will read it fully and let you know when I'm ready to install it.

A big GBOSA for you on the ideas you just dropped,I will surely come up with posts on them in good time.

Thanks so much again, following your thread bumper to bumper!

@born2lead01, good niche there! Now, how do you intend monetizing your blog? Do you have products reports or ebooks to sell? If not, I'll be sorry to tell you that you're wasting your time. Firstly, don't think of approaching ad networks like adsense because they'd be hesitant considering your choice of topic (it's not allowed in their TOS). Your idea is good but if you want to generate good income from your blog, you should start preparing your mini-reports and products to sell to your visitors right NOW. Hope this helps.

thanks for the observation. The man is just a Nigerian-born and obviously a UK citizen. It's a pity that every evil deed will always find it's way to tag a Nigerian as the culprit just to tarnish the name of Nigeria. And as bad as it is, most Nigerians don't reason at all. They just open their mouths and start cursing even when it's not their business. As for me, this is not Nigeria's business as the man in question is a confirmed UK citizen. Chikena!

So here, if you want to sell amazon products on twitter, you'll have to think differently from selling on your blog or website. Both audience may be buyers altogether, but they have very different attention spans and interests. A blog or website visitor may want to learn about something by reading a lengthy post but a twitter follower will usually just want a tip. More so, blog or website visitors will need to be persuaded long enough before they'll ever think of buying and to make matters worse, they may just become readers only. You will have to write very descriptive posts in their area of interest to convince them to trust you to buy what you recommend. On the other hand, your twitter followers will follow you simply because they have the same interest as you and they will usually be happy to accept and trust anything you recommend. I think this speeds up the sales process and you won't be disappointed by the results.
So in this case, you will be selling on twitter and you will have to be very creative and concise when summarizing the product for your audience. Instead of saying how exciting the product is, you may be better off telling a follower how it solves their problem or the direct impact it will have on them. I have tried both strategy and everytime I get very distant result at both ends. For example, if you're selling an MP3 download (I recommend this because it sells fast!) of maybe a business tutor like Zig Ziglar on a topic like Kick-drive sales, you should say something like: 'want to make that big sale in business today? Let Zig Ziglar tell you how. Listen here' instead of something like 'kick-drive sales, my best MP3 download from Zig Ziglar. Download here'. There will be a big difference in the response of your followers when you try either format. All you need to do is to attract your audience without looking like you want to sell to them. I usually recommend MP3 download of speakers because it is easier for the customer to get and the market is wide plus it sells like hot cake right now. Go try it!

So, here we begin...
The Site Stripe option is a feature on amazon that allows you to create product or page links directly from Amazon.com without having to visit your Associates Central (that is, if you are already signed up as an associate). This can be a very useful feature since it lets you quickly build links to any page on Amazon, while browsing through the site. It is simply a short-cut for afilliates on amazon.
How Do you use the Site Stripe Option?
To see the Site Stripe option on amazon, you need to first sign in using your amazon associate account information and you must always confirm if your username is visible at the top end of the site.
Next, you must check if your site stripe is visible at the left tab available on the page. If it is not visible, click on the tab on the left-hand side of the page to unhide it. If it still refuses to show, you will need to sign in to your associate account to make it viewable using the settings button.

The Site Stripe Option allows you to:

- Link the particular page or product you're currently viewing to your blog or website.

- Add products from a product detail page to your aStore.

- View your Earnings Summary which links to your earnings report. However, you will be asked to log-in to your Associates Account before viewing your full report to ensure the privacy of your account information.

- Add products from a product detail page to a new or existing Amazon widgets like Carousel, My Favorites, Slideshow and MP3 Clips.

- Share or post a quick update to Twitter through your own Twitter account with a short URL to the current Amazon page or product being viewed. When you click the ‘Share on Twitter’ button, a new window will open in which you can log in to your Twitter account if you’re not already logged in. On that page, you can also change the default message to fit your audience before posting it to Twitter.

- Link a product to the Associates discussion forums to create more awareness.

So here, we'll be focusing on using the twitter option to promote products to your followers on twitter. How do we do this?
Simply follow these steps:

1. Sign in to amazon using your associates account information.

2. Make sure your username is displayed at the top end of the site before proceeding.

3. Access the site stripe options and select the share on twitter button

4. A window will show up displaying the product thumbnail and a default description. You can change this to fit your target or put in your marketing keywords for seo.

5. Share the product to your followers.

Simply follow these steps:
1. Fix your cash in a reputabe Nigerian bank for just two years.
2. Get a small team of veterans in the real estate sector(make sure they aren't crooks!)
3. Get advice from your bank on reputable real estate investment firms you can learn from(they'll be happy to refer you; with all that cash in your account!)
4. Pay the required fee and get started learning with your team(take note: never pay any member of your team a dime. If they're interested enough, They'll be willing to delay gratification and work towards the big picture)
5. Start testing the waters. After the two years of learning, get your team to start investing small sums in real estate ventures.
6. Make small mistakes. With time you'll master the terrain and you'll be able to confidently do larger investments.
7. Be very patient and take your time. Be cautious all the time. Nobody is a friend.
Hope this helps.

Everything in life is free but you need to pay in a particular currency: hard work.
Here I'm going to be giving out what I know about making huge passive income selling online with just your twitter account. A particular business mentor once said that if you're broke or lack enough cash, it is either that you have nothing to sell or you can't sell. That is, selling is a must if you plan to make sustainable passive income. This is the basis for all my business adventures and when it comes to making money online, I usually do not think in the way of advertisements. Rather, i think of leveraging the massive numbers online to sell a product I'm very passionate about.
Just this morning, I was roaming through my amazon associate account, looking to be creative until an idea struck me. I noticed I could actually sell items on twitter using the site sripe option. This can be very good news to people who know next to nothing about building a site or blog or even how to do seo. So, i decided I could give my little idea on how to make daily passive income using a combination of amazon and twitter. Take note: if you are scared or skeptical about selling online; it may be best for you to go get a job right now. I'm saying this because most newbies online are blinded by the adsense paste-and-watch-the-money-roll shams that are everywhere on the web that they think selling online is an unreasonable money making effort. FYI, selling either products or services is the only sustainable way to make constant cashflow online today.
So, for those who believe in the online selling mantra, I will be giving a step by step guide on putting up an effective cash system that MAY put money in your pocket every single day. Here is a quick run-down on what we will be looking at:

1. What is site stripe option
2. Signing up for Amazon
3. Building a solid twitter profile
4. Choosing the right products
5. Choosing the right audience
6. How to sell effectively
7. Payment method
8. Miscellaneous
STRAIGHT to the point and direct!
I won't be selling any ebook so you can be rest assured that everything here will be given free of charge. I will try as much as possible to be detailed and descriptive. Also, this content is uncopyrighted so you can use it on your blogs, social networks, marketing efforts or share to your friends anywhere. I will start as soon as I start getting likes and responses. Keep in touch.

Business / Re: How Do I Become A Millionaire In One Year With My Blog by crestime(m): 10:47pm On Jul 04, 2014
@OP, i will say to you, Very correct statement but Very very wrong strategy. You can more than possibly become a multi millionaire(in dollars) within a year only when you know and apply the right things in blogging.
DEAL BREAKER: YOU CAN ONLY MAKE DIRTY MONEY BLOGGING WHEN YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SELL. Otherwise, we have what we call World Wide Waste of time.
If you want to become really comfortable and make it big in blogging within a year, you have to:

1. Choose a profitable niche(i.e. A niche that has many serious businesses that can advertise with you / a niche that has many willing buyers and products to sell - I like niches like freight/exports/imports)

2. Sell > Advertise - selling on your blog is more profitable than advertising. You have to Start selling from day 1. If possible, make all your posts like a sales copy(i.e. Try to sell to the reader at the end of each post) or put related product banners around your posts. Advertising can come later. That is biscuit money.

3. Know your key audience - if you are a pro and want to sell physical products, seminars, consultations or contact services and get your cash in your bank account in Nigeria, then you need to be disciplined enough to know that you must target only Nigerians. But if you are just starting out and you don't need much stress about receiving payments and making clarifications, you may want to sell affiliate products to your readers. For this, I recommend you don't target Nigerians at all. Instead, target the US and use amazon associate programme. I think they are smooth.

4. Get a good keyword domain name - get a domain name that describes your blog(e.g, if you write about tracking shipments, your domain name could be something like easyshipmenttracker dot com). This will help your seo and your blog will likely show up when people google how to track their shipments easily.

5. You can make money from the first day - stop scaring people away by saying that they need more years to make money from their blogs. If your blog does not pay you in the first 3 months then, you are among the clueless majority. It means that you lack monetization ideas. If you can really have a solid strategy, be interesting with your posts, and engage with your readers, they will buy from you from the very first day if they want to.
6. You don't need high traffic - it is sad how people put all their interests on traffic numbers but yet make next to nothing out of it, even if they get the traffic. As far as I'm concerned, I don't need a lindaikeji-esque blog. I need a blog in a niche where I can sell. Simple. I don't need traffic. I don't need a million visitors. I don't even need a thousand page views. I will be very satisfied if I can just get only 100 interested and willing buyers everyday. If I can sell to them and make them very satisfied, they'll tell others about me. That's free marketing + trusted customers. Is this not business?.......
I have more than enough tips coming. If you want me to continue, just like my post

Business / Re: Nairaland Fiverr (let's Start Here) by crestime(m): 11:20am On Sep 10, 2013
There is only 2 main ways to make money whether online or offline:
1. fulfill a need
2. solve a problem
you must be willing to offer your expertise, creativity and uniqueness in solving a person's problems or answering to their needs before you ever dream of receiving payments. and for memory sake, There are more than 1001 persons in nigeria looking for problem solvers. Also, there are more than 1001 persons looking to offer their skill in solving problems. is it not reasonable to create a matching service to help fulfill their dreams? we must create a workplace for us to thrive. I believe Nairaland is the best networking platform we have and we should start from here. Nairaland fiverr will connect service providers with service seekers for a token of N1000. So let me give it a start. I am willing to pay N1000 for 500 facebook likes. Anybody?
Business / Re: Nairaland Fiverr (let's Start Here) by crestime(m): 10:23am On Sep 10, 2013
Chlbenze: what is fiverr all about
fiverr is simply an online marketplace company based in the united states that connects people with service providers. services are mostly bought from $5 upwards. service providers simply place a gig(a classified notification of the services they are willing to provide and for what amount)and interested parties can opt in to get such service provisions while paying through Fiverr for legitimacy purpose. Fiverr mostly payout to their basic users through paypal. This paypal is notoriously not accepting Nigerians but some persons in nigeria have been able to manoeuver their way though at their own risks. But here on this thread we are trying to build something indegenous that can provide a typical marketplace just like the fiverr concept FOR NIGERIANS ONLY. This would help our businesses startup cheaply and also provide employments from the comfort of our homes. I think this is a good idea

bloglover: Its not a bad idea, after all it bridges d transaction gap as well as promote hidden creativity
Yeah, I believe It's more than a good idea and very workable too. We need to start thinking of the internet as a leverage to help solve our own physical problems and not a dream land where money grows on trees. So, let's start this fiverr right here and help ourselves.
Business / Nairaland Fiverr (let's Start Here) by crestime(m): 11:14pm On Sep 08, 2013
I've been thinking about this for sometime now. Is it not possible to start a Nigerian version of fiverr here on Nairaland? we can possibly have a typical model where experts in different fields can offer to take up relative task and get payments of let's say N1000 after completing the task. As for legitimizing the process, we can vote in a moderator to act as the middleman in the task agreements. I solely believe that this can open up a whole new industry in Nigeria starting from here on Nairaland. People -especially unemployed graduates can earn good monthly income online offering their expertise and doing just what they know how to do while start ups on relatively tight budgets could get tasks completed cheaply on this platform. This platform if well implemented could enrich our economy while making it easy for businesses to outsource cheaply and run on reasonable budgets-thereby curbing the unemployment menace.

I've been hearing so much noise about this fiverr by the so called experts in Nigeria. My problem with this fiverr awareness is that most of these experts offer next to nothing to newbies but an urging to take the fiverr risks. yes, doing fiverr from Nigeria is a big risk- talk about the 'gigs thing' most of the newbies find hard to understand and also the almighty confusion of trying to burn your fingers and dash all your money to those 'oyibo' people opening paypal accounts. one thing about Nigerians as a whole is that we like complex things- we simply get a simple thing and make it complex. Will it not be more reasonable to have a Nigerian fiverr version where you can get paid directly into your bank account for offering a reasonable service? The opportunity is right before our noses. I believe Nairaland can offer the perfect starting place for all of us to kickstart this fiverr revolution and create Nigeria's own online workplace. Think about this

Holla to all,
i've been thinking on selling this domain name for sometime now(LOANIGRAM.COM). please can anyone in this forum give a honest valuation on this name? I believe it has a good seo and also brandable for a business in the loans industry. It has received a good amount of search engine traffic since its registration. could have used one of those online domain valuation tools but just want to get honest reviews from real people.

....More facts.
Some people see this business as capital intensive but that is typically far from it.
It's simply smartness intensive-if I will say that. If you reside in lagos and have a good eye for organising things then, you can simply turn your humble self into an events manager, raking in loads of cash every weekend using your brand as the only leverage - I mean no money down! ....Coming back....
Business / Re: Rental Businesses Meet Here(corporate Discussions) by crestime(m): 5:48pm On Aug 26, 2013
Just made a discovery. I just found out that there are over 1 million businesses in the rentals niche in Nigeria, of which not less than 300k of them are in lagos region only(that's roughly 30%). Out of the ones in lagos, about 88% of them are into events management on the short term while 6% of these are into long term deals like organisational leases....Checking out more facts.
Business / Rental Businesses Meet Here(corporate Discussions) by crestime(m): 1:21am On Aug 26, 2013
I've been contemplating on this for a while now but decided to let it out.
Is there a body or a founding organisation for rental businesses in Nigeria?
How can rental businesses in Nigeria rub shoulders together by providing a level playing ground for themselves?
How much cooperation will be needed to encourage profitability in this business?
I strongly believe that with an inflow of ideas and openness, we can discuss on how to make rental businesses very lucrative and attractive to prospective investors. Come to think of it. Rentals have proven to be one of the easiest and most stable cash spinning businesses of all time, even since the days of barter. You may not be willing to spend cash on permanently getting things for yourself but you can sure keep up with your needs by renting one or two utilities here and there. For those who have not been initiated, this rental business may be seen as dirty and stressful but i think differently. I think this is the coolest business for anyone as long as you can employ people to get dirty for you.
Really, what i'm trying to say is that we can achieve more if we share innovative ideas in the areas of this business(and i happen to be working on an innovative product coming out soon)to help us create eye-popping opportunities that will attract investors into the sector. Every sector seems to be making a lot of noise and creating cash waves not minding whether they are really executing or not. but here we are under the noise. why not we create our own buzz and crank up a golden niche - as it were in this rental business? huh? waiting for your genuine opinion
Business / Re: The Viability Of Crowd Funding In Nigeria - Will You Participate by crestime(m): 10:26am On Aug 16, 2013
There's a recent growing believe by netpreneurs that the time for crowd funding is now. that is the general believe in so many countries whose law tags it as illegal due to some old-before-internet age laws(dating back to 1930s)but only a few governments has been able to legalise crowd funding but not without stiff legal regulations. Trust internet entrepreneurs and their creativity. i later learnt that there was a little tweak in the crowd funding idea and something new was born. peer-to-peer lending. The concept is quite simple and while P2P lending remain legal, many governments have been trying to make regulations for it, some top countries have had their government's full backing(in the case of the us and great britain) while some are still trying to review laws to states its illegality. Even big corporations like google have have been investing heavy millions of dollars into P2P businesses. I have been opportuned to launch a startup P2P business on the internet but still struggling to make it lively so as to attract interest. There may be a good reason for this post and forumites coming together may be synergy needed to start something of this kind in Nigeria. waiting for more updates on this. thanks.
Religion / Re: What Is Assumption Of Mary by crestime(m): 12:25pm On Aug 15, 2013
SOME FACTS

1. The ark of God at this perilous times is YOU, the believer who have the indwelling of the holyspirit of God and who believes(foolishly-as the world would say)in his only begotten son JESUS CHRIST.

2. The Virgin mary(who holds the right to be called BLESSED), though the earthly mother of our lord jesus, has no right or power whatsoever, to intercede for us. only JESUS CHRIST, the saviour of the world who shed his own blood for us can.

3. Christianity is a personal race and your justification as a christian is totally independent of your believe or hope in another who has run theirs and is therefore sanctified. Your only hope, believe and trust should be in JESUS CHRIST because ALL POWER has been given unto him. only him can strengthen you.

4. Religion is simply a man-made spiritual problem even right from the days of our lord JESUS CHRIST. in heaven, there is no religion.[Rev. 21:22]

5. Christianity is a lifestyle. A lifestyle characterised by love as modeled by JESUS CHRIST. The love of God, that passeth all understanding.

6. Christianity is simply being a fool for God. Relying totally on the ever sufficient grace of our lord JESUS CHRIST.

Peace!

I believe it is typical of the LASG to plot such fire schemes on unsuspecting shopping complexes in order to reclaim such lands for their own selfish interests. They've done it so many times, times w/out number. even on residential areas. This is the truth. The LASG is trying to claim as much estate squares as possible and don't be suprised when you lose your own house after a minor fire outbreak. so, those folks trying to create an excuse using tribalism should just sit and watch. In the next 2 years these selfish plots by the government will become more prevalent. shebi, you say you want megacity. you will get megacity!
Business / Starting Your Business Cheaply, the Smart Way by crestime(m): 10:21am On May 25, 2013
If you intend to start your business cheaply by going the smart way then, you will want to consider giving your brand the needed reach and professionalism. Taking your business online will help you exceed your primary business expectations and put your focus on more relevant business areas that will yield results. So many businesses in Nigeria have started building powerful brands by going online. These businesses do not necessarily need to be new ideas but niche-focusing businesses such as fashion, food, entertainment, sports, arts, consultancy, business-to-business supplies, expert electronic repairs etc. There's no limit to a business that is strategically positioned online because of the speed and spontaneity in reaching customers and assessing feedbacks. I believe the initial business advantage may not be the cheapness but the opportunity to divert capital into other very necessary areas like advertising and market surveys coupled with the peace of mind of the business owner due to no disturbance for monthly rent or tax files. if you will like to take your business online i can help you provide a very professional platform that will offer a sales display page, payment processor and an optional questionnaire or forum for getting customer's feedbacks. If you will want to take your business online fast you can reach me to help you do that for only #10,000. reach me now on crestime@yahoo.com

Crime / Boy Buries His 7 Year Old Younger Brother In Beach Sand While Playing by crestime(m): 3:16pm On Jan 29, 2013
A seven-year-old boy has died after being buried alive by his younger brother as they played in a pile of sand at their rural home.

Wyatt McDaniel was pulled unconscious from the mound of sand after his five-year-old brother alerted their father.

Despite desperate efforts by Charlie McDaniel to revive his son with CPR and later by paramedics the boy went into cardiac arrest.

McDaniel was pronounced dead after being airlifted by helicopter from the family's horse farm in Bexar County, Texas.

Results of full autopsy has yet to be carried out for what police believe was a tragic accident on Friday.

Police said it appeared the two boys had been playing in a pile of loose beach sand at the horse farm and riding school.

It is believed they had dug a hole in the top the pile of loose sand and younger brother Logan may have piled the sand back on top trapping his brother.

Paul Berry, spokesman for the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, said the five year old alerted his father.

'The brothers had been playing in the sand together when the younger son came to the father, alerting him that the older brother wasn't moving,' Berry said.

Witnesses told investigators Wyatt and his five-year-old brother Logan were playing in a sand pile while their father Charlie was giving a lesson at the Wild Sunday Farm.

Although police are working on the theory that Wyatt was buried by his brother they said that no one yet knew for sure how the seven-year-old ended up in the pile.

'No one actually saw it' Berry said. 'Clearly there was an accident with sand. And it appeared as if he suffocated, but that needs to be determined by the medical examiner.'

Theresa Chamberlain, who said she knows the family, described the brothers as 'inseparable.'

The boys were 'best buddies,' she said, 'and we're concerned about Logan, and how he will handle this.'

Chamberlain said she is a longtime friend of Logan's mother and has been offering help to the family.

An 'outpouring of support' for the family was being held at Wilderness Oaks Elementary, Wyatt's school.

The community is invited to tie orange ribbons, his favorite color, around the campus.

According to online property records, Charles McDaniel owns and operates the horse facility Wild Sunday Farm.

A photograph on the business' Facebook page that was added in May 2010 shows a small boy smiling broadly and wearing a riding hat atop a black horse.

The caption reads: 'Wyatt McDaniel's very first time in the tack. He's a natural! I am so proud of my little guy! smiley'

One the farms webpage McDaniel boasts how he has trained and looked after many award winning horses.

'For over 20 years, our horses and riders have won at all levels of shows (local, state, and national) and received numerous year end awards,' it says.

'At Wild Sunday Farm, you and your horse will receive the highest degree of safety and the best quality care, teaching and training. Wild Sunday Farm specializes in hunters, jumpers, and equitation and attends all levels of hunter/jumper.

'We are proud to offer an outstanding facility that caters to families and individuals.'

Politics / ACN Names Bugaje,ikimi, Fashola,udenwa, Others For Merger Talks by crestime(m): 5:28pm On Jan 20, 2013
The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) has appointed a 19-member committee with the mandate to negotiate its planned merger with the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP).

In a statement issued in Lagos on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said the committee, to be chaired by Chief Tom Ikimi, has as members Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Governors Babatunde Fashola and Rauf Aregbesola, Sen. John Akpanudoedehe, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyawu, Sen. George Akume and Hon.Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Other members are Sen. Lawal Shuaibu, Chief Audu Ogbe, Chief Achike Udenwa, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Sen. Chris Ngige, Dr. Usman Bugaje, Hadjia Rabiat Eshak, Dr. Ibrahim Y. Lame, Alhaji Yusuf Ali and Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

ACN said the appointment of the committee is an indication of its total commitment to making the merger a reality, adding that there is no going back in the party’s determination to work with the CPC and the ANPP to rescue and salvage Nigeria.

It also congratulated the leadership of the CPC and the ANPP, which have already named their own merger committees, for their patriotism, and appealed to all Nigerians to support the planned merger.

”This is not about the ACN, CPC or ANPP but about our country Nigeria, which is tottering on the edge of disaster due mainly to the lack of leadership and failure of governance by the ruling PDP since 1999. The merger of the three parties is like a ‘Noah’s Ark’ which all Nigerians who are tired of the endless drift of our country must enter into.

”This is not about winning power at the centre at all costs, as the naysayers will want Nigerians to believe. It is about putting the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians above everything else.

”We will also like to inform Nigerians that contrary to what the doubters and spoilers are saying, the three parties are going into the merger plans unconditionally and without a set mind over posts or anything else. The only issue that has been settled is the urgent need to rescue and salvage our country. In this regard, the opposition knows it has a date with history!” ACN said
