Just curious because I'm making research about them and other funders.

Hey guys, anyone playing this game on his/her android/IOS.

Its a strategy game with over 10 million downloads on play store where players battle each other and also fight zombies. You start from developing your Base from level 1 to 30. It has so many features that makes its addictive. But before you can play it, you need to have an internet connection to be able to access it. For we wey dey Naija, dont worry it doesn't squander much data.

Here are some features;

- In-game chat where you can talk other players in your alliance or the state you are.
-You meet new friends from all over the world. In my alliance we got so close to the extend we have a whatsapp group and even talk on phone. My alliance has members from US, Haiti. While my state has players from all over the world (China, Japan, Korea, USA, Lebanon, Turkey, Brazil etc)
-You contest for the presidency if you are powerful enough.. LOL grin . In my state the chinese dominates, the president has over 50million while i have just 800k power . He would burn down my city in seconds grin grin so i dare not.

Many things to talk about.. just check out the facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/AgainstZombies/

The game kinda is a Jungle. The Jungle rules states, "Eat or be Eaten" . And when you dont wanna be eaten, then you spend some money to buy items for faster upgrade. Thats where the chinese and some rich people bully others. They spend alot of money to get power. I have seen someone who spend close to $5k . shocked

I have spent lil cash though, to get some necessary items but not to that extend.

In my state I have seen just 2 nigerians playing the game kinda boring because they are in different alliance.

Any real gamer interested ... You can join me in State 178 .

Here are some pictures..

… over lotto game

For trying to defend her mother from assault from the dad, a 12 year old girl, Kafayat Kareem, is in critical condition following beatings she allegedly received from her father.

Kafayat, a Junior Secondary School 1 student with the Canal Secondary School, Orile, Lagos, would have died from the wound she sustained after her father flogged her with barb wire but for the intervention of vigilante members who found her writhing in pain at the dead of the night at Oyingbo market at Ebute- Metta.

Kafayat was rushed to the Star Clinic at Ebutte -Metta where she is receiving treatment from the wound she sustained all over her body.

Narrating how she incurred the wrath of her father, Kafayat said, “I live with my parents at 4 Kuforiji Street, Orile. On July 7th, I ran away from home after receiving severe beating from my father. My offence was that I tried to stop him from beating my mother. My father accused my mother of using his hard earned money to play lotto game and he descended on her with anything he could lay his hands on. My father alleged that my mother loves patronizing lotto game and he beat her up mercilessly and broke her knees. Despite my mother’s cry for help, none of our neighbours came to her rescue because they are afraid of my father.

“I could not bear the beating anymore and I begged my father to stop beating my mother. He became furious and pounced on me.

“This is not the first time my father will beat my mother and I. I have lost count of his endless beatings. On one occasion, I begged my mother to relocate four of us her children to Ilorin so we can stay away from our father due to his constant beating. I am the first child but my mother said my father will change but he has gotten worse by the day. My mother is presently on admission at the Charity Hospital at Orile following the beating my father gave her.

“I could not stand his beating anymore and I ran away from home to meet one of my mother’s friends at Oyingbo market but I did not meet her when I got to the market. I was in great pains and I decided to sleep in the market because I do not want to go back to my father’s house. It was while I was sleeping at the market that some vigilante men came and rescued me. I told them my plight and they took me to the hospital where I am presently receiving treatment”

Agbodemu Musbau, the secretary of the Vigilante group of Nigeria at Ebutte Metta stated that the vigilante men on night patrol at Oyingbo market found the girl writing in pains and rescued her.

“On July 9th about 4am, I received a report from our members patrolling the Oyingbo market along the railway line that they found a girl laying in pains in one of the stalls. I told them to bring her to our office and when I saw her body, I asked her what happened and she told me that her father beat her with barb wire. I quickly mobilized and took her to the Star Clinic at Ebute- Metta where she is receiving treatment the wound on her body had become sores and I wonder what type of a father will beat a child like that. I took her to the Iponri police station to report the battering but the policemen there turned me back that they do not handle such a case. I took her to the Area C police Command at Surulere and the police there refused to attend to us. They told me to take her to the office of the Public defender. I have been running around with this girl since morning to get the necessary authority to look into this matter and arrest the father but they have refused to take the case,” the man said.

Politics / War On Terrorism: India Pledges To Train Nigerian Security - Vanguard by Cwaya(m): 1:12am On Jul 11, 2015
AS the Boko Haram sect continues to unleash terror on Nigerians, the Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Ghanashan Ajampor Ranganya, has pledged his country’s total support to the Federal Government on the war against terrorism and all other forms of security challenges facing the country.

Ranganya, who made the promise when he visited the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, yesterday, assured that his country will assist Nigeria in the training of security personnel in intelligence gathering to tackle the menace.

He recalled that the trade relations between Nigeria and India dated back to the 18th century, adding that the existing relations between both countries should be sustained by leaders of both countries for socio- economic development.

According to him, the Indian Government has recently commenced work on two state of the art hospitals in Nigeria to assist victims of terror, noting that work was at an advanced stage on the construction of the health facility.

He also assured the Speaker that his visit would help to strengthen existing diplomatic relations between both countries
Receiving the envoy, the Speaker, Hon. Yakubu Dogara appealed to the India government to support Nigeria‘s bid for a permanent seat on the United Nations Security Council.
Dogara said relations between the two countries dated back to pre-independence Nigeria, stressing that Nigeria and India had been bidding for a permanent seat on the UN security council which has five members.

Politics / Boko Haram Releases First Beheading Video Since Joining ISIS - Dailymail by Cwaya(m): 12:47am On Jul 11, 2015
Boko Haram has set a terrifying new precedent by releasing its first gruesome video of a beheading since it pledged allegiance to ISIS.
The video adopts many of the same style-points as the hundreds of barbaric videos released by ISIS over the last year.

The 'west Africa' insignia in the top-left corner suggests the terror group has set up a new so-called media wing in the country.
It comes on the same day that MailOnline learned of a Somali terror group's intentions to join ISIS - which would extend its so-called caliphate to east-Africa.

The ten minute-long propaganda video begins with what appears to be an intense firefight against Nigerian soldiers.
Boko Haram fighters exchange machine gun fire with the troops and launch heavy mortar grenades on their locations.
It shows them standing proudly next to the corpses of scorched Nigerian troops - and showing off their security badges to the camera.
The video ends with the senseless murder of a captured African Union soldier. With a look of true horror on his face, the man kneels in front of three masked Boko Haram fanatics - two of whom point AK47s at his head.
The video then cuts to reveal his decapitated body lying motionless on the floor.
Islamic State accepted a pledge of allegiance from Boko Haram, who were responsible for the deaths of over 10,000 in Nigeria in 2014, in March this year.
The audio message entitled 'kill and be killed' - released through the militants' vast social media channels - was read by an ISIS spokesperson who also threatened further violence against the Christian and Jewish communities.

Watch Video here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3156551/Like-master-like-servant-Nigerian-terror-group-Boko-Haram-releases-beheading-video-pledging-allegiance-ISIS.html#v-4348590542001

Speaking for his leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the man in the recording says: 'We announce to you to the good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa.
'Our caliph has accepted the pledge of loyalty of our brothers of Boko Haram so we congratulate Muslims and our jihadi brothers in West Africa.'
The militants have been waging a six-year insurgency to impose strict Shariah law in Nigeria and earlier this year it launched attacks across the border on Cameroon - before striking Niger and Chad.
The group has killed thousands in bomb attacks and violent sieges on villages in the remote north-east, and are now feared to be spilling over into neighbouring Cameroon and Chad.
It inspired five African nations agreed to form a coalition to take the group on and 8,700 troops from Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Niger and Benin are expected to begin operations before the end of next month.
Only today, MailOnline learned that Somali terror group Al-Shabaab could soon scrap its allegiance to Al-Qaeda and pledge loyalty to rivals ISIS instead.
Islamic State invited the east-African jihadi group to join forces with them through a propaganda video released in March - urging it to wage jihad on neighbouring Kenya, Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Health / This Graphic Shows The Effects Texting Has On Your Body - Lifehacker by Cwaya(m): 12:25am On Jul 11, 2015

Note: Texting includes Pinging, Whatsapping, 2going, Facebooking, Tweeting ........ tongue

Texting too often can take a toll on your body. While it might seem like it’s not a big deal, the physical posture you take on when you’re staring at a tiny device in your hands can have serious negative health effects. This graphic shows what can happen.
We’ve known for a while that spending too much time assuming the texting position can cause health problems. While your mileage may vary, and this certainly isn’t exclusively limited to texting, the graphic below can show you a few potential problems, as well as how to combat them.

ACHING NECK AND SORE BACK
Texting’s habitual head-down posture can put dangerous pressure on the spine, according to 2014 research by orthopedic surgeon Kenneth Hansraj, MD. An adult head weighs 10 to 12 pounds (about the same as a bowling ball), and as we tilt it forward, it exerts pressure — up to 60 pounds at a 60-degree angle. That can result in a sore back or neck.

What You Can Do: Raise your phone so your ears are directly above your shoulders.

TEXTING THUMB
While this is not an officially diagnosed medical condition, gripping and holding cell phones can constrict our flexor tendons. Because our thumbs do not have the dexterity of our other fingers, excess texting can result in pain (and sometimes a popping sound) on the outside of your thumb around the wrist. You may also suffer a decrease in grip strength or range of motion.

What You Can Do: Use your phone’s voice-recognition feature rather than manually texting. Or try incorporating other fingers into your texting method.

BREATHING ISSUES
Our forward-leaning posture can impede breathing, according to the UK’s United Chiropractic Association. Dropping the head and rounding our shoulders makes taking full, deep breaths harder. Moreover, our ribs cannot move properly in this position, and it decreases our hearts’ and lungs’ ability to function effectively. Finally, researchers have found that we often hold our breath or breathe shallowly while computing or texting — a habit they term “screen apnea.” The result is increased stress and heart-rate levels.

What You Can Do: Take a break now and then to breathe slowly and deeply. Get up and stretch every hour or so. Set the timer on your phone to remind you.

TEXT CLAW
Because texting requires fine-motor activity, it may lead to “text claw,” a habitual clenching that can lead to repetitive stress injuries such as tendinitis or carpal tunnel syndrome.

What You Can Do: Regularly stretch and move hands through their full range of motion.

Politics / Security Threat In N-delta Over Non-payment Of Amnesty Allowances - Vanguard by Cwaya(m): 12:09am On Jul 11, 2015
Yenagoa—Ex-militant leaders in the Niger Delta region, yesterday, raised fresh alarm over alleged cases of disenchantment and threats to the existing peace accord by some aggrieved youths over the delay by the Federal Government to pay allowances and tuition fees to beneficiaries of the Amnesty deal within and outside the country.

The concerned ex-militant leaders, led by Pastor Rueben Wilson, said though series of complaints had been sent to President Muhammadu Buhari over the deplorable condition of amnesty beneficiaries in Europe, America and South Africa without response, reports available showed that the delay in payment was throwing up security issues and dangerous disenchantment among the ex-militant youths.

The ex-militant leaders, in a statement in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, said that the alert sent to the President was to draw his attention to the issues in the region and the urgent need to address the issues within the Presidential Amnesty office.

The statement reads: “Worst of their situation is the unpredictability of when their nightmare will end while hunger and deprivation have put them in a very bad state of mind. Your Excellency, you will recall that this programme had within the last few years brought relative stability to our region and by extension, this country.

“This we owe to late President Umaru Yar’Adua, who in his wisdom proclaimed amnesty for ex-agitators and drew a plan of action towards ensuring lasting peace in the region through various training programmes.”
