There is no blueprint to getting a US visa, So i suggest you visit the American embassy website and study it word for word line for line , i was denied US visa 3 times and when i finally went wif little or nothing i was given without even asked a single question , My 2cent is this consistency in information for those who have been previously denied , And those who have travelled outside the country b4 have better chances than those who have never travelled, BETTER CHANCES, not that they don't issue 1st timers , from my understanding and investigation the US embassy issue more of student and conference visitors visa for those who have never travelled out of the country, i also want to state that it doesn't matter the type of visa you have as far as you where stamped into the united states by an immigration officer and was handed over an i94 slip you can change Ur status, and it can be done in less that 1 year from when u arrived the US depending on the kinda friends you hang out with and how focused and patient you are and also how much you pray to your GOD,

The 1st tyme i applied for a us visa i was denied i hadn't travelled out i went back in 2 years with a south African visa an Irish visa and a UK visa i was still denied i went back the 3rd tyme with 2 extra renewals of ma UK visa meaning i had 3 six months visa 2 expired 1 still valid , the us still denied me so i went to germany France when i came back The 4th time i was given , and then i got a Canadian visa now i don't need no visa to visit anywhere, the lesson is this there is no blue print i know pple who didn't have to travel round the world and where given US visa 1st tyme no travel history, its all luck God and perseverance, i wish you all the best,

Just to encourage the house a lil bit ma mum brother and aunt was just granted visas to canada , well ma mum has previosly travelled to canada but ma brother and aunt all applied on a virgin passport, the privious time i applied with ma mum our application spent 2weeks at the embassy but this application spent a month, no matter how long all would be well in as much as i would be in Nigeria come next month cant wait to go see them in canada when dey arrive i am based in the states , Good luck to all intending applicants ,

I did my medicals on thursday and it went thus:
1. 15mins conversation with the doctor about my medical history
2. Blood,urine and eye test.
3. Blood pressure was measured and i was told to remove my cloth and trouser,remaining boxers for the doctor to feel my body if there is any pain at all.
4. Then i was given another form to go to one hospital in oshodi for digital xray.dats all
I paid additional 3k making 30k altogether.i met a guy and a lady for same purpose but dey said na maple den use.dey said they have spent much money ooo but i told them dat i package it myself with God on my side.d doctor told me dat as far as student is concern now,dey will not waste time again in giving d report.i pray that i will never have any crisis,complication or mixed up in my report for Jesus has given me power and authority over sickness and unclean spirit,scorpions and serpent and my adversaries (medical practioner,consular and VO) and nothing shall by any means hurt me.i decree that we re going to have more medicals invitee's soonest and at the end of everything our study permit visa will be granted in the mighty name of[b] JESUS CHRIST of NAZARETH. In 2003, I applied to study in the States as an undergraduate, but was refused visa on the grounds that they were not satisfied if I was going to return after my school. My passport, not the e-passport was stamped and returned back to me.

My question is this, 8 years after then, I now have the new e-passport, but with a different date of birth but same name(Did it to get my present bank job) and I am thinking of doing my masters in the States. What are the implications As I know they could asked if I have ever been denied visa before and considering the discrepancy in age now as per my new passport. What do you guys think?

I applied for a Canadian visa with ma mum and it was issued in less than 2weeks all na planning and prayers note ma mum had a virgin passport we where both issued 6months each so ma broder pray harder when next u apply

You have limited options. Try Air Canada. You are better off with the lay over time than to miss your connecting flight. Schipol Int Airport is good have fun there.

Used KLM last yre to Canada wasn't a funny journey at all i would advise you to use an airline with a shorter wait time, i was in Amsterdam for 6hrs and it wasn't funny, check for airlines with less wait times , experience in summary was terrible the journey was just toooo long sometimes i wondered if i was on ma way to heaven,

My advice look for flights with lesser wait time ok, safe journey
