Can you imagine what the all mighty telecommunications the so claimed GIANT of Africa. MY Cousin just got a job with MTN and it has being all complains. she says the ttelecomsgiants employ young graduates convert them to contract staffs pay call centre agents in the day 50k and Night agents 75k. The most annoying thing according to her is the fact that you ddon'tget any other allowances aside your salary no upfront, no medicals. no housing, no nothing. And most expecially no room for promotion. I mean Pple hear you work with MTN and its Like all other things have been added onto you. Its terrible the way this telecomms agent treat there callcentre agent celtel, globacom inclusive. its awfull when she comes home and its all complains sometimes i wonder why NIGERIA ha sgiven this Telecomm companies so much Power i mean in Ghana you dont have contract agents in MTN |Nieither do you in South africa. so why is it obtainable in Nigeria. the truth is MTN aint that much of a big deal after all. 1 Like |

Mr shimfe. Mr shimfe. Mr shimfe, How many times did i call you three times, Why do you want to mess yourself up, You are getting everything all wrong its obvious what u want to do, now draw your ears and listen to me don't even think about it , Irish embassy wont in the first place give you more than a three months single entry visa and even if you go and come back you are given another three months single entry visa after which you are entitled to a 1 year multiple entry visa, I know all your intrested in is getting the first three months and eloping with your wife and kids, now the question is this why do you want to punish that woman, sending her to ireland to be an illegal immigrant don't even think about it don't even try it you don't know what you might be getting yourself into. MEN if Na Young boy wan run then its understandable not a married woman with a child, You claim you not being able to school abroad as the source of your wanting to take this decision, are there no student visas why don't you do things the right way with your child, i can authoritatively tell you that you would regret it, no shaking i have being to ireland i have being to the UK, am back in Nigeria even if u wan run why not run in the UK where u have more blacks and you do the running first and then after 15 yrs of suffering and u finally get your papers if you do then you send for your wife and kid , anyways a word is enough for the wise. i i know what am talking about when i mean i know i know. So u better be carefull what you think about so u don't mess Ur life up cus dats what u wanna do, ciao |

@Neksbaby Read Through your post and i actually do wish you all the best with your appeal and all that. But you claim to have been to the uk B4 with your Fience, if yes what does getting married have to do with the british embassy, I think we Nigerians practically let the British embassy dictate evrything bout our life while they are busy enjoying themselves, i wonder if its not this same uk that am currently in that you wanna travel to anyways I think you getting married to your Fience has absolutly nothing to do with The embassy aight what would be would be and more over he has a right of abode as you already said. You have being to the uk nowwwwwwwwwwww this aint heaven o you should know that so please get married when ur ready not when the british embassy is ready if not you might have to ask them for permission to give birth. |

Typhoo A focused illigal immigrant knows better than to come to the uk and buy a car, And more over you work at least 9hours 5days a week you shouuld be able to afford a bottle of coke dats if you must drink coke at all.u fit they wash toilet for uk buy a land and complete a house in naija if ur focused. after all ADENUGA WAS A TAXI DRIVER IN THE UK DBANJ DEY WORK FOR MCDONALDS B4 so, You cannot and never will b able to compare both sides Naija and UK. You cant even Compare life in south africa and Naija. Naija has a long way to go from no light in the airports to molues and no light and all them crap but funny enough theres no place like home thats the irony of life. |

You Guys are getting it all wrong i didn't n never said i was gonna chill n hussle up ma papers i would be leaving back 4 ma country Naija in some few days time. @omega25red How many yrs u wn make i dey uk befour i go fit talk, ur one of those typical Nigerians am talking about, Don't come, dont come, london is hard for illegal immigrants but still u sidon 4 london as an illegal immigrant they hussle 4 papers for 7-10 yrs. if u can take all dem bullshit who tell you say pple back home no fit. And for ur information what rights do you have in Nigeria as a Nigerian working in Nigeria lol. Ur as good as an alien In Naija even nigerian. like i earlier said not that i am encouraging illegal immigrants into UK my point is this illegal or legal once Ur patience n hardworking n tolerant infact the part of being tolerant i don't think u would have a choice on that bcus every nigerian has that in him cause we are not used to having our human rights anyways, i think you would make it here, work hard send some mny back home save up a little n leave there country for them. 1 Like |

@siena Nice to hear from you, all them old skool dont post much on nairaland anymore . well i have being in da uk for about a month plus now am presently in hatfield its kinda like 45mins from heathrow.Th reason i posted this topic was bcus of my observations since i came in to the uk they tell you how difficult the uk is and how stressfull it is but still they stay behind, anyways skilled or unskilled you make ur money cause the british economy anyways is all bout what you have to offer not what your qualifications are. 2 Likes |

I noticed sumthing bout Nigerians in the UK. They always discourage Nigerians from coming over telling them how difficult the UK is bla bla bla bla bla, But still they are in the uk hassling n telling everybody how useless the uk is. My analysis of the Uk is this You can never n would never compare the life in th uk with that in Nigeria. Never i mean never be u legal or illegal the life in the uk is better than the life you leave in Nigeria AS A YOUNG NIGERIAN GRADUATE WITH NO CONNECTION.Even washing toilets in the uk th least u get paid is 5:65pounds per hour hw many graduates in Nigeria earn this. Its crazy man UK no easy Na naija easy which country on earth is easy? Not that am encouraging illigall immigrants in the uk but the truth is this nigerians in the uk should stop telling us how difficult it is in the uk cause it aint as difficult as it is back home so ur all who wanna come to the uk ur welcome to the life of hussling. 1 Like |

mrpataki: Mr Pataki I respect your opinion on issues, but you should understand that no matter how travelled you may be you still don't know it all yes having Ur passport disvirgined with a reputable country in Europe gives you an edge in securing certain visas. like if u got an Irish visa and you use it well if you apply to the UK embassy Ur chances are higher than somebodywho haven't travelled out before. Not once not twice not thrice i have seen embassies deny pple visa cause they haven't left there home country befour. And why do you always think everbody is a liar. Am presently in the UK Hatfield to be precise i wanna meet you MR PATAKI @poster South African visa isn't that difficult to get its kinda easy but don't really have much info about them. Irish visa ain't that easy but at least you get intervied and its quite easy to convice them but the forms are you feel are quite complicating so you have to be carefull on what you write down. Embassy address is at Abuja somewhere in Negro crescent. take Kare and wish you all da best. |
Travel / Re: Will Our Application To Visit The Uk Be Accepted.candid Opinion From The Experts by Dantecmu(m): 9:57pm On Jan 06, 2008 |
@ Poster This is quite complicated, i think what you can do 4 urselves now is to take things easy and plan properly so u dont get smacked out basically i think you should leave the british embassy alone and try visiting some other european countries say france or ireland etc. At least you would have disvirgined your passport when next you apply to the british embassy, what you need to do is make them understand that you can actually visit europe and come back. You already have being denied a visit visa and so applying again would only show ur desperation and i bet u those guys dont wanna see desperate nigerians. i share this opinion cus it did work for me i disvirgined my passport with southafrican visa and then irish visa befour visiting the british embassy and i didnt have to submit all them documents this where what i submited when i applied for my first british visa Passport Bank statement Shares certificate Appointment Letter Pictures of me and my cousine Photocopy of id card Birth certificate School certificate Masters and Barchelor And then Prayers That waz all so take things easy cus i see the desperation in you and that wont help you.Plan well aight cheers |
