If it is not compatible. maybe someone's prayers just got answered. You may need to give someone or sell it off

Slimdel: Erhhm hope say my iPhone 5s go work ni cry no money to buy a new phone ooo
with your IMEI number, you can easily know if your phone is compatible or not. No harm in checking

For the Issue of phone compatibility when peeps get to canada

Check the link above to also know if your phone will work on this network. (Bell Mobility).

As a rule of thumb. Your phone must be HSDPA (or UMTS) and 850 MHz and 1900 MHz compatible. to know if it is. go to www.gsmarena.com and search for your phone at the top right hand corner, the specification will be shown and you can compare with this.

2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100

An acquaintance phone from Russia had the following spec:2G Network GSM: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G Network HSDPA:900 / 2100. The phone was not compatible on the 3G network for Roger but was compatible on the 2G. She had to get another phone when she got to canada.

Majority of the high end phones will be compatible. As far as i know, Samsung Galaxy Note 2, S4, Note 3 will most likely be compatible with most networks in Canada.

My advice is for those planning to buy a phone, it will be best to buy it when you get to Canada so that the money will not be a waste

Thanks alot
Says a lot about supervisors in saskatchewan..Also applied with a 4.06 gpa and wasnt contacted..Meanwhile a friend who applied for mathematics with a first class has found a supervisor.
I believe they have special preferences for First class students from Nigeria..Anything besides that and you'll most likely not find a supervisor regardless of how good your SOP is.
Yeah they do have special preference for First Class students. But I believe that if you have a will, there will always be a way. Also with God, all things are possible.

That is why for those that have gone ahead of us to canada, they can help prepare the way for those that are coming behind. Especially in the case of securing Supervisors. Sometimes, Word of mouth referral can go a very long way.

D_Fodio: Not yet anyway, got to resume first of all.
And actually, one of the Profs wrote back after I sent my SOP before involving the alumnus at all. He told me to send a copy of my transcript and my CV. Imagine, I sent an incomplete transcript. My school refused to give me my transcript by hand before I sent it to one of these Educational Agencies. When I got there and I told them I needed a scan copy of my transcript, they said it was against their policy. But I appealed to the kinder nature of the agent before she allowed me to make a photocopy of the transcript and told me to scan the photocopy i made and send it to whomever I wanted to send it to.

This was where i made a mistake. I didn't realise the transcript was front and back. I only photocopied the front page.

NB. I actually secured admission to the university of Regina through the said agent but it was for MEng. I wanted M.Sc

CGPA of 4.43. Getting the M.Sc wasn't that easy. I wrote and sent my SOP to most of the Professors in my research interest but no show. Until I was able to lay hold of an alumnus (a Nigerian. He is a like a father to me) from the school who was able to help me interface with one of the professors there before I was able to secure a Supervisor. After that, every other thing fell into place.
ChriGo: ......Your name will be added to the list...my Oga huzzie they see am....Big rat don chop the one wey i get so i have to copy the new one from huzzie grin....Please can you shed light on how you were able to go about ur Uni of Sask admission into Msc ?...whats ur cgpa? E.t.c....Your goodnews cometh soon.....
