it is worrisome, disheartening and disgusting how we have buried our right thinking minds in the altar of politics, tribalism, religion and ethnocentric divisions. where's our conscious? why as a people, wrong now bears good name because he or she is a Muslim or Christian. why do we allow politicians to divide us. They steal and leave the country impoverished. Since independence, the agenda of our political aspirations haven't changed. Campaign slogans have remained unchanged. If it's not water, it's electricity. if it's not road construction, it's education. They steal from our national treasury yet we defend them. When they are been prosecuted or persecuted as the case may be, we carry placards, chanting solidarity songs. who are we fooling. Today, crime is regular on our streets. kidnapping is now the new bane. arms proliferation is so common. Unemployment is getting high everyday, politicians keep stealing, keep lying, keep deceiving, yet we lay down our lives in their defence. What is wrong if someone is suspected for having embezzled money or stolen, or earned in excess and is being prosecuted. It's only the guilty that are afraid. Don't get me wrong, am not saying that Buhari's anti corruption war has been fair. What am asking is that, did they indeed steal or earned in excess of their income? if they did earn in excess, then let them face the law. God bless us and God bless Nigeria. |

Even though the word "budget padding" was not specifically mentioned in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended), it has been a long legislative practice for legislators to insert or include constituency projects, and of course increase budgetary provisions to cater for such. However, it's no news this was surreptitiously done to covet money meant to tackle economic loopholes. No legislator is exempted from guilt. But for the loss of the Chairmanship position of the Committee, Jubrin would not have let the cat out of the bag. As long as the matter is before a court of competent jurisdiction, the matter is subjudice & cannot be visited by any institutions, persons or authority. Let us wait to see how this matter eventually turns out. God bless Nigeria. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Great picture. It's a reminder how most times we grow far apart from our history and background. We are too busy looking forward that we forget how our past have been, and take a lesson from our past, in creating a great future. This picture should remind us that who we currently are, isn't necessarily the truth, but mere fact |
