When is the Ex-Div date (The day before which you must buy to receive the declared dividends) for Afri pud, Zenith and GTB?

Sometimes, it is good to just laugh off some comments especially the 1 from myjoy08 grin grin grin grin grin.

I don't see Skye Bank delivering any fantastic result vis-a-vis dividend payment, the only best bet is capital appreciation for guys trading on NSE. My projection for bank is hinged on UBA, it will surpass expectations. @all, a look @ WAPIC @N0.51 won't be a bad deal.

UBA has been struggling to raise cash from a Rights Issue. Are you sure it will be in their best interests to pay good dividends? I am suspecting that they wanted to use money from the rights to pay dividends.

Yes I am. I took a Nestle dragnet test on 21st feb 2015. I have not heard from both Nestle and Dragnet. I don't know if I was the only one that took that test as a Finance guy. Secondly I don't know if its an experienced hire role or a GT role as I am not interested in a GT role.

So if anyone here did a Nestle test on 21st Feb kindly shout out.

But I hope we have all learnt, yet again, that every man only gives opinion and not fact concerning the direction of the market per time and picks. No one knows for sure tongue tongue I repeat NO ONE. We should stop seeking prophets. They come and go, that is, they have their seasons. Thankfully, the followers and the prophets should have learnt this salient lesson in the course of this year.

No intention to ridicule anyone. We can not afford NOT to learn this lesson. smiley

Fact is, this week, some shares have had its share of strong bulls. Champion, Nestle etc

So it depends on where one is positioned.

In essence, someone rightly positioned in the shares I mentioned above will be thankful to whoever prophesied continuous bulls.

Google ''Meritrade'' or Morgan capital. They both have online trading platforms. Morgan charges cheaper rates though.

I no like NSE. The rat race is crazy. I need a real time monitoring machine to always see exact bid and offer status. This will help me make more informed decisions.

Sir, with due respect, your assessment about NSE doesn't apply to our market alone as it happened all over the world. Whatever goes down must surely goes up one day and vice versa, which apply to the law of gravity. With caution, look for a way to benefit from the upsides. Best of luck!

From your response, all exchanges are scams. I dey here they form financial analyst.

Hello Guys!

I am beginning to think that the NSE is a scam. Why is the market suddenly green. NO new information, nothing!

There is a detectable cycle. Market becomes green a bit, everybody sees the green and tries to benefit, this brings about more green. Some people get satisfied with their profit and start bailing out, this action halts the green, everybody tries to scramble out and the red resurfaces again fully.

Okay, the above is clear but I need an answer. Who/What determines when the the market will become green after a long period of bears? especially when there is no new material public information.

The issue here is that there are no buyers for most stocks.

Zenith get buyers sef. Nestle no get. I go place sell order on my Nestle come put the limit price at 1000 naira. Who knows someone might just buy. grin

ANBAKO: House,

I sold some of my stocks with Meristem. Deal completed since friday 19th, september, 2014 but I cannot withdraw my funds using the online meritrade site.

I tried reaching them but to know avail E-mails and calls. Unfortunately, I am presently out of the country and I really need this money to sort some things urgently.

Please advise on what to do.

Thanks

Maybe, you have incomplete documentation with them. Happened to me once, and when I wrote via e-mail, I was informed that I uploaded a stale Address bill so I had to scan a new bill to them.

So do them a mail at contact@meristemng.com to know what's up.

Cheers!
