ALTERNATEID: Reno Omokri is a joker now. Nobody takes him serious. He lives somewhere outside Nigeria and could not follow with what Nigerians living in Nigeria are experiencing first hand. Imagine stating facts with IMF growth forecast. How's that a fact? Or the Stock Market been the best performing in the world, when the capitalisation of the market in USD value, has dropped drastically since the coming of Blablue. Nigerians are now forced to sell their stocks cheaply (so they can feed their families) to the advantage of those overseas like Reno. The Foreign reserve is at about $34bn, but Reno could not see the astronomical increase in public debt over the same period Blablu takes charge. The citizens of Nigeria are groaning with inflation and all Reno can think of, is to counter a soft warning letter to Blablue by Dele Momodu. Is he expecting all Nigerians to join him in the conspiracy of silence while citizens languish in penury and deprivation. May be they should deport Omokri back to Nigeria so he will enjoy the false economic prosperity he's projecting to be happening. |

The whole Socio-Economic chaos in the NIGERIAN state is rooted in the ATTEMPT by some individuals to continue to localise a RATHER VIBRANT INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY. Nigeria as a nation is meant to be in the league of leading countries of the world. But rather than take it's rightful position, some people are busy sending her to the back seat. You may ask, How are they sending us backward? The answer is simple. Through their myopic, UnGodly localisation of critical national issues, some of which are itemised below: * Importation in place of Massive Production. How can you explain a nation of 200m people importing food or an oil producing country importing refined petrol, diesel, Kerosene and lubricants. ....really? * Poor and Unattractive Wages leading to brain drain and moles in the system. How do you retain good brains when you can'tpay Doctors, Lecturers, Engineers etc, that the only people you can pay are POLITICIANS, TOP SECURITY AND JUDICIAL OFFICERS and VOODOO CONTRACTORS. Imagine some states cannot pay #30k minimum wage when $1 is more than #500 * Weak Judicial System leading to endless and costly dispute resolution. Someone can just break your head or destroy your business and it will take you eternity to get justice from a system that has become so exploitative, in the end you may just say "ALLAH ya isa" and move on. * Local Leaders promoting Local Agenda, rather than local leaders with Global Vision. We all sing..."it is our turn,..it is our turn"...really... are you serious with development or just to occupy office and grant favors and contracts? * Elites that believed the World is outside Nigeria, rather than Nigeria is an essential part of what define the World. Don't fall for anybody who is not modest in the present Nigeria. Affluence my foot! ..in this mess that you've created, you are talking of affluence? * They THINK, and SELL to their followers that, "the best of any situation can only be achieved by them(individual) or their relatives, friends, kinsmen or tribe. At the time countries like USA/ Dubai are accepting and allowing foreigners to excel for the benefit of their nations. * They also ensure RULES AND LAWS are for others to follow excluding them, their family and associates. ...these and many more, are responsible for our current position. Check well before you make a choice of who to support, 2023 may be near, but 2027 when next you'll have another opportunity to vote, is far away. By then, you may not be around to assess how close we are as a nation to our rightful seat in the comity of nations, or how backward we've gone to seat in the midst of failed states courtesy of your choice. Think well, Say Good and Act well. God Bless Nigeria Engr Sani Balarabe Yusuf https://m./310272106739960/permalink/622503935516774/ |

INCREDIBLE007: ![]() ![]() ![]() If at all anyone needs public sympathy to fight his imaginary cause, he doesn't need falsehood and blackmail. This is very important for the sponsors of this sham to know. You keep adjudging your words as the truth, mindless of the opinion of the listeners. They attempt to talk, you shut them down and call them all manner of names, that they should support you. Was there any sense in this, or your self need some help? (lol) 1 Like |

Absolute foolishness at display in public glare. To begin with, This is a PROPAGANDA video by some sponsored (may be unemployed) tout living in Vienna. This man's accent and tonation has no link whatsoever with Fulani people. OP is either misguided or is claiming the man is Fulani out of mischief. If you know Nigeria well, you can tell where a person come from by him speaking just afew words especially in local dialects like this fool did. The approach of these wayward people amuses me, in the sense that they assume they can intimidate people into supporting their course. What a foolish diplomacy. We still love our country despite all odds. Buhari or no Buhari, we have no other country or citizenship apart from Nigeria Are there problems /challenges in the land? YES, there are! But they are not insurmountable. Where ever we may wish to run to, they equally had or still have their own problems. But men didn't run away, they stayed and found solutions to the challenges. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Thank you Lala. Today you have trapped the biggest snake disturbing Nigerians. Some people think that they can build a prosperous nation by blaming every other person buth themselves. Nay It will never happen that way. Nations are built by majority consistently doing right things or a few doing right things forcing themselves over the unguided using whatever means. That's how it's done, from US, Sudi Arabia to China and Singapore. More ink to your pen. Meanwhile what happen to my thread, it never see front page? https://www.nairaland.com/6641931/please-spare-me-northern-domination#103522995 lalasticlala: |

Which other tribes you don't like, abi na only Fulani you no like? Anyway, Ethnic profiling is evil, even though I don't know how sophisticated you are to know that. |

Mikecold: You guys have still not roll out any statistics of how North dominates you in Public sector. Only just hear say. If, as you errenously claimed, GOVT HAS NO BUSINESS IN BUSINESS, and it's not govt that enabled the wealth of some Nigerians, then why are you concerned about WHO IS CONTROLLING THE PUBLIC SECTOR? why are you not concerned about it's PERFORMANCE only? Let me reiterate that govt enables private businesses, at least in Nigeria. Do you people know how the likes of Alakija made Oil fortune? Or how Dokpesi got DAAR communications license, Mike Adenuga, Tampolo, Asiri Dukibo and many other Southerners became prominent ? Do you know the sole importer and distributor of Kerosene, Capitaloil during Jonathan era? Do you know the story behind of AirPeace CEO....and that of many other including Northerners? Pls do not pretend not to know why airlines like Albarka airline stopped flying or why Nigerian refineries didn't work. Conclusively, you cannot divest what happen in the private sector from what happen in the public. QED |

slivertongue: Yeah, I can agree with you to an extent. But what do the central Nigeria feel? That North dominates South or what? Within every region, North or South there is still such feeling that one group is dominating others. For example only Lagos accommodates every Yoruba, but the reverse is not the case within SW. Similarly we've seen IMO dominating other Igbo states in Federal public appoints. But the writer's argument is specifically BTW North and South. Do you feel North dominates South in public service? |

slivertongue: Silvertongue, how do you mean? I don't understand "who's own north is relative" |

poiZon: poiZon, let me give you a clue as to how to know that the South is not marginalized. 1. It's not the place of Chief Executive that define the geographical spread of a public institution. For ex, All Federal Universities, Polytechnics Teaching Hospitals, Airports etc, have CEOs, Directors, Senior, Junior staff, consultants and contractors. If I tell you that in all of such institutions in the South you can hardly ever see a Northerner employed. Check it. But there is no way you get to the North and you wouldn't find Southerners in similar institutions, even in the Junior cadre that was meant for those in the catchment area of the institutions. And don't tell me it is a matter of qualification because we have a lot of qualified Northerners unemployed. 2. Security - Police, Army DSS, Navy & Air force are mostly of southern origin, aside the top leadership which requires some political and trust considerations. 3. CBN, NNPC, NPA etc. I just wish you can get the statistics and how it will shock you how your people dominated things and still crying foul. |
![]() |
poiZon: You are right on corruption. There is also corruption in the North as with the South. May be milder. But that's not the argument of the writer. The argument is about ckaim of being dominated by the North without facts, only sentiments. Do you have facts to share with us on the subject matter? |

CSTRR: But didn't you know that Banking system is a crucial component of a successful nation. What the author iwas saying is that, despite leaving it for the Southerners to dominate (because of Usury issues), yet the Southern bankers cheated and collapsed both the banks and other people's investment. Theryby causing instability and losses in the Stock market. I hope you were in Nigeria or have invested in shares in 2008 to have noticed. It took an honest Northerner to bring sanity to the baking sector. Don't you agree? |
![]() |
Mikecold: All your wordings still point to the fact that it is only envy and boastfulness that is worrying many of the Southerners. It proved the points of the writer that no one dominated you, rather you are just afraid of your own shadow. I don't have measuring tool here to measure how intelligent or otherwise you are. But I bet you that I have been to places and have mixed with different tribes in Nigeria and elsewhere, such assertion as your is common among those with low esteem but pompous. I hope it doesn't match you exactly. Good night. 1 Like 1 Share |

Like seriously, you should be ashamed of yourself Dangote that is a product of Northern politics with series of tax holidays, shortcut, fraud as expantiated by his fellow fraud Abdul Salam is who the north parade themselves with. Dangote and BUA as Fraud? So is it the same fraud that took Dangote to 17 other African countries? We are talking real business here not drugs or scam pls. Is it scam that took BuA to establish Refinery in the SS, and Dangote in Lagos? They all got license during a Southerner's tenure. Do you know the capitalisation of Dangote industries at all? Well before Dangote, We had the Dantatas, Isyaka Rabiu etc they were renowned business men with offshore investments. May be you are not in Nigeria or just hear the story of the North online. Have you asked yourself why only Dangote/Bua are the only ones into cement and sugar majorly ..yes, I have. because of Business Know how, Capital and trustworthiness For your information there are far more Southerners (especially Igbo's) living and earning a living (legit or otherwise) uo North than there are Northerners in the South. Go and find out. Most Southerners that gets to the North never want to leave. Asari Dokubo, Orji Uzor Kalu, Okorocha etc. And for your information, many of the presumed Northerners you r talking about are foreigners from Niger, Camaroon, Chad. If Dangote is so much of a genius come he sold his noodles, fruit juice etc when he saw real competition from foreigners Because he wanted to venture into something more complex than noodles - Refining, Petrochemicals and Fertilizer. Someone that is too intellectually lazy to keep his private part off the internet ![]() Do you know the billions of dollars generated in Lagos Ogun Anambra alone when it comes to drugs manufacturing I don't, pks give us statistics People are taking drugs every second in Nigeria more than they do cement Southerners control this sector You mean the legitimate ones abi the BLOOD SUCKERS that sale fake and expired drugs to us? Do you know the billions of dollars generated everyday from ports importing spare parts and cars, loads of containers needing clearance Are you bragging about imports, which is not even destined to only South. I invite you to go to the Northern commodity markets and see how much wealth and food security we give this nation. Southerners especially you know who controls this sector I see. Pls try to find out about AA Rano, YM Shafa and find out much imports and wealth they have in petriluem downstream sector [/b] Do you know the billions of dollars from the alcohol business from breweries ofcourse you know southerners control it This is a no go area for most of us. Despite leaving it to you, you ain't richer. Like I said earlier, our value system prevent us from certain ventures. If I may ask how does Dangote been richest impact the north? In so many ways. You want to know our success secret? An Igbo man for example has a private factory and all his family spread out in benefiting from it I dont know which tribe are you, but do you really know what some Igbos do to make money? If you look beyond the northern concentrated Dangote and Rabiu Salam you would realize southern wealth is spread across board in the private sector and not concentrated No, that's not correct. I see more people suffering and smiling down South, while I see relatively calm people with less desperation courtsey of easy life there. As for Northerners doing meneal jobs, I have explained that they don't want be criminals, cultist, yahoo, or prostitutes. It's a choice BTW good and evil. They rather do meneal jobs than steal, rob or dupe their brethren. Pls take time to know Nigeria and don't believe hear say. 2 Likes 1 Share |
