Travel / Re: Don't Fly Bellview! by dudumoh(m): 10:57am On Sep 04, 2009
Damn, I wish I read this before Tuesday when I  booked a flight for Friday next week because i have a lot of luggage and wanted to take advantage of the 64Kg limit. Serves me right. I got wind of their troubles yesterday when I was referred to an article on Next online about stranded passengers in Lagos. I decided to "google" bellview troubles which led me to this post. I have been calling their office number at Heathrow but there has been no pick-up. I guess they are running away from passengers. Trouble is, i'll have no where to stay and no money in my pocket having spent almost everything buying all the buys - which is the very cause of this trouble - my luggage!
Oh well, I only have to brace myself for the worse at least I know what (not) to expect.
Career / Re: Cisa June 2008 Study Group. by dudumoh(m): 11:40am On Apr 19, 2008
How are you guys preparing for the CISA Exam.
I am taking it too but want to start reading for it. I need the Q&A. I got the review 2008 review manual. From what I have seen, there is no difference between it and the 2007 version. Just that the questions come in the middle not the end this time around.
I think we should be trading questions and answers at some point and if anyone need explanations, he could send it accross. By the way, we cd use nairaland to post the questions.
Let me know.
Travel / Re: At Last I Have Been Granted A Visa by dudumoh(m): 1:27pm On Aug 29, 2007
Good to know that u got a visa. Studying for a degree abroad is a good thing and u get more respect for that. Just be deligent and study hard so u can make good results because it is one thing to finish and another thing to finish well. "Well" is the word. Sorry if I sound like a teacher. I do teach.
I wish u well,
Business / Re: Nairalanders, How Much Are You Worth? by dudumoh(m): 5:03pm On Aug 23, 2007
my true worth is in how I am able to satisfy my Wife, be a good brother to my sibblings, a good son of my father and mother, and a good father to my child, which we are expecting in December. The worth of a man is not solely material.
Romance / Re: Tomorrow Is My Wedding Day by dudumoh(m): 4:45pm On Aug 23, 2007
Good luck,
I know this is not a good thing to wish u cos it portrays skeptism and some element faithlessness but with the way things go you need luck with women. I can say that I am extremely lucky because my wife is a good woman. I wish you the same luck or better.
Romance / Re: Am Caught Up! Help by dudumoh(m): 3:09pm On May 20, 2006
I see this and the first thing that comes into my head is Move On. Love is flexible especially young love. You can't force her to love you. Allow yourself time and you'll come off what you are feeling now. Then you can find yourself a girl that's for you.
Next time, be careful not to take what you don't like. Remember if you force yourself to eat what your body system rejects it becomes poison. That's what is happening to you now. You ate a bad fruit even in the presence of the the good one. The bad fruit was rejected by ur system but the good fruit has already been eaten by another. Go find yourself a fresh good fruit cos it'll take a fight to wrench the good fruit from the new owner. You could be bruised and hurt some more. I wouldn't advice that.
Mike, you are a real man to even have reacted to your heart's desire. Heaven favours real men, please move on.
Nairaland / General / Re: What Makes A Man Happy? by dudumoh(m): 2:59pm On May 20, 2006
I am perpetually lively and people think I am always joyous. But the truth be told, there are times that I am blue but I don't let that becloud my day, hours, minutes and seconds. You can say I am concerned about events carefree but that keeps me going. I have done this for long and it's part of me. But be it as it may, happiness is a flimsy thing. It's comes in seconds. I think you should try looking for Joy. It's continuous even in trying times.
Bottom line is this; Nothing can really make a man happy. There is no formular. You just have to accept things as they come and make an effort to make urself happy. But I think you should look for joy which will keep u afloat even when u are down. Happiness is too flimsy.
Romance / Re: Guys My Friend Is In Love With Three Guys What Should She Do? by dudumoh(m): 2:36pm On May 20, 2006
This is a "love rectangle" or "love square".
It's a big problem and it's more complicated than stated but it's obvious that the only person that's ready now is the mobile network worker. She could apply herself to loving him. One thing I have learnt with men is that they are mostly better when they are older. Believe it or not she is 18 but if we want to look at her maturity level she's 25. This pronouncement rules out the other guys. The older guy makes better sense to me. It's the logical choice. But life is not about logic. Some times logic works other times it doesn't work. This is just me opinion.
I'll say she should follow her heart but sometimes our hearts follow our heads and our greed and longings. This is not good choice.
She should sit down and define what she wants. And then use the PMI techniques to do her analysis (Look up PMI technique on the web). This could help.
Above all she should really pray about it because we are talking about marriage here. It's only God that knows what's best for us.
