Family / Re: Traditional And Church Wedding Wchich Is More Legal by eddybekp(m): 7:34pm On May 20, 2017
Loveaflame:
Marriage was ordained by God.When you talk of legality which angle are you referring to.Or should I rephrased it and say
WHICH ONE IS MORE LEGITIMATE

From the Biblical view their is nothing like church marriage. We are conversant with the traditional form of marriage. The white men invented the so-called white wedding that many are really crazy about today.

To be candid with all a marriage is said to be contracted when the father of the lady releases her daughter to a man, ceremony or no ceremony.

Those who lack understanding will disagree with my point but that is the solid truth even from the Bible point of view. The case of Laban releasing his daughter Rebbecca to Abraham's servant for Isaac is a typical case.

Some Christians together with their churches make me laugh when they allow the church wedding to be done more than a week or several weeks after the traditional marriage. And COMMAND such people not to have intimacy until after the church wedding.Where they got that from only God knows.

When such people now copulate they are disciplined for committing the sin of fornication. The truth is that after the father has handed the daughter to you guy you are free to have fun before God it is not a sin.

The truth is this heaven recognizes the traditional or what people call engagement than the ritual jamborees people do in the church of today. As per legalizing it you will do well to add court marriage to it.

TYPES OF MARRIAGES UNDER NIGERIAN LAW

1. Customary Marriage

2. Statutory Marriage

3. Islamic Marriage

Wedding is imported culture. It is a mere
ceremony. Customary marriage is the ideal
marriage established by God in Africa. The white people were able to tactically incorporate their culture into christianity. We are confuse here in Nigeria. Without customary marriage, you are not married.

Politics / Re: APC Npower Scheme And How The Deceived Nigerians by eddybekp(m): 5:35pm On Feb 24, 2017
Enaburekhanjosh:
This APC Government, you guys think you can treat the good people of Nigeria as thrash,

The same people that brought your party to power,

Lie to them the way you like and think there won't be consequences.

It still beats my imagination how the highly respected office of the vice President will promise the good people of Nigeria about paying the December Npower stipends (30,000) before Christmas and failed to do as promised and yet refuse to release any statement of apology or reason why they failed the thousands of Nigerians that brought them to power.

You think you can just treat us anyhow and expect zero consequences, well think again, because Nigerians are not gullible or foolish.

You can't just make thousands of graduates to bask their hopes and plans on your promises and fail to fulfill, without any explanation.

Nigerians voted "you" because you promised changed, but nothing has actually changed

Npower program has failed just like Buhari's administration. Akande is incompetence. Nigeria leaders lack ideas. The are suffering from a syndrome called poverty of ideas.

With the way they condemned d police recruitment thing, u will think they wouldn't get up to 1000 applicants. So I won't be surprised if I see over 10million apply for this one too.
The N-power scheme is a failure just like Nigeria economy. The problem with Nigeri leaders is poverty of ideas. Akande is incompetence.

There's nothing extra-ordinary about this(conducting mass/sunday service in an open space without a roof).

Let accept that there was a design flaw. The way this peeps preach about how there God can do signs and wonders marvels. It now looks more difficult to believe that a God you serve cannot even protect his worshippers right inside his own house.

Questions needs to be asked across all boards

Don't mock God. It is the fault of contractor & the owner of the church because they overlooked safety precaution. God can work with you but not for you.

The Ibibio speak dialects of Efik-Ibibio, a language of the Kwa Branch of the Niger-Congo Family. Being the best-known dialect,
Efik has been established as the literary language, and is understood by most educated Ibibio. Because of its remarkable assimilative power, Efik spread throughout the Cross River area and even into the Cameroons.

The most basic difference among the many dialects of Ibibio is in the vocabulary. To a lesser extent, the sound system, tone, and grammar can be distinguished. Comparative studies have shown considerable similarity between the Efik and the Ibibio proper, Oron, Eket, Anang, and Ibeno dialects.
Culture / Re: 5 Facts You Should Know About The Efik People by eddybekp(m): 11:01am On Jul 07, 2015
I wonder how educated we are in this country. When one sees a presumably educated person vomiting insults in an issue of divergent views, one unassumably feels terribly bad. What is the essence of our education?

In pristine intellectual culture, when one holds different views to a write-up under discourse, others scholarlistically come out with a robust argument that is reasonably superior to the previous one, not insulting the collective sensibilities and intelligence of others. If an educated elite indulges himself in this show
of shame, we are left with no choice than to refer to him or her as a 'functional educated illiterate.

I don't know why Akwa Ibom people cannot live like brothers and sisters. Ibibios are the most hospitable and enterprising tribe in Akwa-Cross region. I don't know why all these hatred against Ibibios.
Romance / Re: What Is The Approximate Right Age For Marriage? by eddybekp(m): 8:22am On Jul 05, 2015
At 21 both boys & girls are matured enought to get married if they are financially independent. But if they are not financially ok, they have to wait.
Religion / Re: Amorc Is Not A Cult by eddybekp(m): 9:23pm On Jun 30, 2015
Definitely not. That AMORC is a secret cult is a misplaced notion arising from ignorance at the highest level and consciousness at the lowest level. AMORC is a very PURE organisation that is strictly against anything in the form of magic, voodoo or any form of evil or negativity (we are always mindful of the Law of Karma). It is open to anyone with clean intentions and sincere desire to gain the Greater Light that is inherent in our being, for we are all created in the likeness of our Creator. Hence, as Rosicrucians, it is this spark of divingty in us that we attune with and not with any intermediary, genie, substance or entity. We are merely dealing with our real nature (as God created us), no addition no subtraction.
