Islam for Muslims / Re: Why Do Muslims Face The East When Praying? by eeman(f): 11:36am On May 18, 2007 |
I cant help but wonder why christians are always bringing up issues they hope will put Islam down and when answers are provided they keep going on and on. We face the Kaaba because it is away of unification. We muslims donot change our religion because it is a religion ordained by ALLAH not one created by men. We cant change our religiuos ethics just because some paople dont like it. fact that you christians change your religion to suit tour whims does not mean that we should follow suit. You fixed december for xmas cos it suited the white man, catholics worship the statues of mary cause they feel like. We will not stop facing the Kaaba because it makes some people uncomfortable. |

Family / Re: Your Childhood Memories by eeman(f): 4:05pm On May 14, 2007 |
It seems to me like children allover niaja basically played the same games, prankes regardless of state|tribe|religion. I remember climbing trees, building houses in sand, playing catcher, landrover, mother mayi?, police and theif, ten-ten, suwe, my mother told me etc. I honestly miss tales by moon light, sesame street. who remembers the abiku drama. Childhood was the best. No worries,no stress. |
Business / Re: More Attractive Names for Products Made in Nigeria by eeman(f): 1:33pm On May 14, 2007 |
I dont think there is anything wrong with african names for our products. its all about positioning, perception and packaging and importantly, the quality of the products. Indian foods[chapati, samosa etc] are appreciated world wide not minding the names. obalende suya is making it in britain i presume, so package it well and see if it does not sell be it waina and mian taushe, amala and ewedu or akpu and idikaikong. |

Gal 2: " cos my mom washes them" Gal 1; " But my mom washes mine too" Gal 2; " well my mom uses super blue Omo" Mom: " that's true. |
