yet you only have to be in it for 2 weeks to realize that the man is a distributor of his 'goods' to all and sundry
and live life frustrated for the next 50 years you are married to him. Abeg! if she no want to marry she be wise.

Foreign Affairs / Re: South African President Mbeki Formally Resigns by eezzy(f): 9:17am On Sep 26, 2008
One of the reasons he resigned is because a judge divulged info that
he was agitating for the charges against Zuma, which (strangely) Zuma
was found to be 'not guilty'. For that reason they wanted to pass a vote
of 'No Confidence' in Thabo for daring to be against Zuma.

If you ask me, it is just a matter of time before our dear old South Africa degenerates
to the levels of all other African countries, corruption (which Zuma was accused of), sychophancy
and all, more so, under Zuma who does not strike me as the most ideal man to lead that country.

Celebrities / Re: Is Ini Edo Beautiful? by eezzy(f): 10:30am On Aug 28, 2008
Beauty is how we define it, depends on what attracts me/you. Ini
is beautiful in the eyes of whoever defines beauty according to
her, ie. in the beholder's eyes. I'd say she is not bad.

@Don shocked When did you get close enough to see her chest hairs!!?

Celebrities / Re: VAN VICKER OR RAMSEY NOAUH? by eezzy(f): 9:40am On Aug 13, 2008
The unfortunate thing about Van's acting is that he seems to be too aware of himself and he cannot let
go and just ACT! it can be quite annoying were it not for his absolutely handsome face which one never tires
of looking at. In a movie though, give me Ramsey anytime he is GOOOOOD

I think they are whiners. They have opportunities that no one else has in black africa but they prefer easy money making projects like acting and singing at which they dont always succeed. The ones who go to school though do well eg the guy who won the donald trump aprentice

Let her weigh her options and decide what is best for herself since it looks
like the marriage died a millenia ago without her knowledge.  If she thinks she can
withstand and endure the treatment she is receiving from her husband 'for the sake
of the kids'
then let her stay sha! But at some point she needs a talking forum with that man.

@kobo

You are so right. Thankfully and hopefully those Mugabe surporters are in the
minorty with the majority of Zimbabweans clammering for some change.

Abi! of a truth, this village mentality of Africans will be the end of us!

Foreign Affairs / Re: Mugabe Won't Quit! by eezzy(f): 8:47am On Jun 20, 2008
landis:

I understand Mugabe but he is old.

African Leaders should help him find successor within ZANU PF.

Those opposition has shown clearly; they are agent of the WEST.

WEST eyes are still fixed on Zim Land. It is a lovely country.

Otherwise, OBJ said 'do or die affair' during our election; the same west said nothing.

Honestly, what's there to understand about Mugabe? What barometer has been used to measure
the level of the opposition's agency to the west? Zimbabwe is bleeding, and all we think about is the
misconceived idea that Mugabe is a true son of Africa! Abeg! ABEG ABEG!!!!! SHINE YOUR EYES. shocked

Even if the opposition is an agent to the West, if that should bring reprieve and some sanity back to
that beautiful country, it is better than having a president who is ready to see the country flat on its back
without a care for the citizens. Is not this so called 'son of Africa' killing the same Zimbabweans east west and centre
for opposing is skewed views? PALEEEEEEEEASE!
Foreign Affairs / Re: Mugabe Won't Quit! by eezzy(f): 8:35am On Jun 20, 2008
Sometimes I wonder whether we Africans are ever going to get serious about any issue.
I cannot believe that people actually support Mugabe just because he has a stupid ideology
about whites not owning land in zimbabwe - what about his people who are suffering so
much because of those ridiculous ideologies.  It pains me to see Africans support fickle, selfish
air headed, self serving leaders just because we must stand as Africans.

elodie:

MUGABE WAS 100% RIGHT .

The opposition are the agent of the West.
can u leaving in england clam a land .

What makes what Mugabe did right (100%)?  Huh!? What?!  If he had strategies to sustain the economy
in the way the white farmers had developed it, then of course it would be alright, but we all know that the
only reason why Mugabe kicked them (white farmers) out brutally was to sustain his presidency by pleasing
his people by giving them free land, which they have since failed to manage because of lack of any kind of technical
know how, since no one thought to develop their large scale farming skills in advance before kicking out the whites.

Lets be realistic, a wrong will never be a right even if done by one's own mother.  Mugabe did what he did for
political mileage only and purely for his own benefit and he has since proved that he MUST be president at all
costs despite the great suffering his people are going through - including being killed in south africa. angry
Foreign Affairs / Re: Africa Needs Investment, Not Aid by eezzy(f): 8:04am On Jun 20, 2008
In my opinion, the only reason why Africa is this backward with no hope of going anywhere is
bad and selfish leadership, coupled by a citizenry of cowards who do not know their rights
and are always willing to support and keep in place the bad leaders.

1.  Take the Mugabe issue is Zimbabwe, the country was doing very well economically
until for fear of losing elections, the president took steps that have since seen the country
suffer an inflation rate that has no name in all the economics books.

2.   Take Kenya, where I live, PAYE is taxed at 30%, VAT 18% Fuel Levy 45% as well as sales taxes
customs duties and many other hidden taxes. This is the highest taxed country in the world by the way.
To look at what the government collects on a monthly basis, you'd imagine that everyone would
be living in luxury wanting nothing.  Unfortunately, the largest slum in the world is in this country, roads and
other infrastructure is in shambles and yet they boast the highest paid members of parliament in the world,
who have refused to have their salaries taxed like everyone else.

It is not that Africa does not have the money.  Our leaders prefer to misuse funds for personal gain by entering into
lucrative contracts for white elephat projects that will benefit only themselves.  Unless and until Africa and Africans begin to look at development within their borders as a collective responsibility for national benefit and not as an individual get-rich-quick venture, we will remain the same poverty stricken beggers until Kingdom come.  embarassed
