Education / Education Has Lost It's Value  in Nigeria by EfeTony6(m): 8:41pm On Feb 15, 2013
EDUCATION HAS LOST IT'S VALUE  IN NIGERIA.

It is obvious that our leaders now disregard Education and regards thugs and those who breaks the law and order of our country.Today what makes you a celebratory is not your academic standard, but rather the God give potentials in you or your influence in the society. This influence could be cultic, political,or other barbaric influence. One can be honoured by the federal government if he/she is a politician,a footballer, militant,Boko Haram, oil bunkers, kidnappers, robbers or a G-boy.
Education is now regarded  as one of those documents that one can easily purchase in our corrupt institutions.
Let me justify my ideology on this deposition. Today Tompolo,Ayeri, and co are now honoured, as gurus in our society because they were able to break the law and order of this lawless country. Millions of dollars contracts are being awarded to them daily, their men who do not go close to the four walls of school are being paid monthly, graduates who spent 4-6years in the university had no choice than to  join the amnesty program due to the rate of unemployment in the country. What a shame, and negligence to education. To me,education is now more less a medium the government uses to engage the youths why they do the looting daily. What pains me most is that they don't give us the quality education we need, but their siblings, girl friends school  abroad receiving quality education. In the nearest future they come back to their state, local government,to rule as kings and  queens.
What prompt me to come up with this brief article is the recent happenings after the victory of our great team super eagles. When they arrived the country,i was astonished to see philanthropist, governors, even the unfocused president GEJ wasting our funds all in the  name of excitement. Please take note,am not against the kind gesture shown to the players by Nigerians. But please I have this few questions to ask the governors and unfocused president. If there are monies to throw around just the way they demonstrated, what stops them from rehabilitating our refineries, our federal institutions,or coming up with employment scheme to assist graduates with token to set up a small scale business? To our governors who do cry daily the wages bill is on the higher side, you were making promises of duplex, hundreds of millions, and still graduates are warming up in the street to disrupt the peace of the state (stampeding). The local stadia  are more or less like Okija shrine. Maybe you were not taught scale of preference in school  "What a pity". From January till this date, you have spent billions of Naria on programs, summit, hosting, yet civil servants, corps, unemployed youths, are laughing  smiling and in Poverty.
The  unfocused president pays monthly stipend to militants, political thugs, what is wrong if the unemployed graduates are being paid?  Brethen education has truly failed us in this country. No wonder the Ex- president  Obasanjo carelessly said "Revolution is the only way out for Nigeria youths". Come to think of it,it's only in this country you see a Doctor,Engineer, abandoned their profession and join politics all to make quick money. The question we need to ask ourselves, are we saying politics pays more than our profession? If the answer is "YES" then what is the standard of education in our country? I will like to leave other issues for us to debate on but please take note, "Education is just a factor set aside to boast God's given potential in us". (Mike.A) That potetial in you is what makes you standout, and the education you acquire is what makes you communicate the potentials in you to others.
Youths, let's learn to do without these hollow politicains without conscience, criminals who threw our hopes for a better tomorrow in the stream of greed, let's discover our potentials because it's obvious man will not help you above himself. We are all hustlers and will die as hustlers. Discover your potentials and lets build a better Nigeria. God bless you.

Questions begging for answers:

1) What is the need for studying political science and at the end doctors, engineers are been elected into political positions and those who read political science end up being civil servants or businessmen?

2) How do we stop this barbaric practice in our country?

3) Why are militants, thugs paid monthly stipend and the unemployed graduates   Wander in the streets and under bridge?

4) What must we do as youths?

5) Revolution or dialogue which is the best way out for Nigerian youths?

6) I thought education is the light of a nation,so why do our leaders pay more attension to footballers, thugs, militants etc.

7) Our Leaders don't delay their salaries, security votes, but when it comes to civil servants payment, youth corps payment, the story is different.

Prof. Eric Arubayi, chairman technical committee on flood impact assessment today gave a public presentation on a report of the impact of the flood that ravaged some parts of Delta State. Politics / Re: What Has Uduaghan Achieved In The Past 5 Years? by EfeTony6(m): 7:22am On Dec 30, 2012
Human capital development is the stock of competences, knowledge, and personality attributes embodied in the ability to perform labour and produce economic value. It is the attribute gained by the individual through education and experience.
From the above explanation of human capital development, you can agree with me that the six(6) major keys pointed out are:
1) Competences
2) Knowledge
3) Education
4)Produce economic value
5) Personality
6) Experience
We cannot dispute the fact that His Excellency Governor Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan has recently demonstrated the above listed points of human capital development by investing huge amount on the Health sector,Education,Sport and Transportation.

1) In the area of competences, recently in the Eko 2012 Sports festival, as demostrated by team Delta, winning a total number of 288medals. This was as a result of the commitment of the governor to support the team, and also to improve on the sport sector recently before the players went for the completion.

2&3)  Education and knowledge: It is on record that Delta state spend N1.5 billion annually for scholarship programs,N22billion for payment of secondary and primary school teachers, and also Delta as a state has the largest numbers of public paid doctors in Nigeria along side the free health care programs which cost billions of Naira. The scholarship programs are classified into local and international scholarship.Recently about 55 persons received the cheque of N5million each to study in some of the best university of their choice outside the country. Courtesy of Governor Uduaghan, the commisoner of high education and scholarship board effective team staffs.

4) Produce Economic Value: We cannot also dispute the fact that these programs are of economic value to the state and individuals.Just like the team Delta players are going home with a cash price of N1million each for gold medals and we've close to 108 gold medals. This indeed has added economic value to both the individuals and the state at large. The recent awardees will also add economic value to both the state and the country in time memorial. This is because in the next 5-10years Uduaghan's scholarship scheme will produce professionals doctors, pilots, lecturers, movie stars, world stars in sports, etc. The total numbers of beneficiaries of Uduaghan's scholarship scheme has increase to 155 persons studying aboard.

The aviation  scholarship scheme is also a program set up by his Excellency to encourage young up comin pilots in the state.

And in line ith the human capital development his Excellency invest  billions of Naira yearly on free maternal care program. Is on reord that delta state has the highest paid doctors in the country.

In addition to boast his Excellency commitment to the human capital development agenda, recently over 4000persons were employed into the state civil service commission.

Delta beyond oil program is another scheme to boast the human capital development programs in the state.

The opposition post made on what his "Excellency has done in the last 5years" is just a fallacy to rubbish the active governor. If I must say E.K Clark has is own interest to protect during elections, and that he succeeded in doing through blakmail, believe you me today he sees Uduaghan as a true son who has brought glory to state. I qoute  him " I once had issues with him ( Uduaghan) because I was thinking his cousin( Ibori) brought him to cover his frauds,or to stop development in the state, but am astonish when I see the young man doing the best he can to move the state forward. Based on this understanding I support him for a second tenure (Rerun). I don't see reasons why some persons come online and post irrelevant informations on social media against the governor. Gone are those era, when you come online to make noise for the government to recognize you. Is now actions that speaks not words.

Lastly when we refer to Experience and personalities,it's obvious that these persons benefiting rom the scheme, will turnout to be more experienced and public figures who will uphold and protect the dignity of this state and country in the future. Permit me to state here, that the governor has delivered to the fullest on human capital development as part of his three(3) point agenda.God bless Delta state,God bless Governor Uduaghan.

I want to please say this to meaniful Deltans, although oppositions are fighting hard to slow down his Excellency massive projects on going in the state, but be rest assure that his Excellency will not be distracted by this little virus. Together, with you and I,in line with the 3point agenda of Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan(CON), Delta State will be a Better place in due time.

GARRI (x7):
Dr. Uduaghan has been at the helm of affairs in Delta State since 2007. Delta happens to ßξ one of the richest states in the country. However, while other states like Akwa-Ibom, Edo, Rivers etc can boast of infrastructural development all-around the state, same cannot ßξ said of Delta state.

In Delta, it is a tale of kidnapping, abandoned projects, armed robbery etc. While a handful of projects are being executed across the state, they are mostly over-inflated and are being used either as drain-pipes to siphon the state's wealth or as a means of enriching friends and cronies.

The governor even has an orchestrated plan of excluding areas where he lost from his "development" plans.

So the question once again is, WHAT HAS UDUAGHAN ACHIEVED WITH THE HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS HE HAS RECEIVED IN THE PAST 5 YEARS?
Human capital development is the stock of competences, knowledge, and personality attributes embodied in the ability to perform labour and produce economic value. It is the attribute gained by the individual through education and experience.

Comrade Dsp Matek.

I pledge to Nigeria my country to be faithful loyal and honest. Yes as an activist even if I give kudos to Uduaghan's government,I fault him on this statement. From the above pix posted., the Udu roads needs constructions. Why will he make such a statement? Is it that his loyal sons ( Ruben Izeze and others) from the LGA offended him? I weep for the Udu LGA. " Indeed Udu bridge is falling down". I wonder what will be of that bridge by 2014 or during the raining season. what a shame.

Politics / SSS Should Question PDP Executives And Leaders Over Azazzi And Yokowa. by EfeTony6(m): 6:42pm On Dec 16, 2012
They cannot stop the truth, great giants are rising daily to bring down the evil once in our country. I am not scared of death that's one major reason i speak up my mind irrespective of who is reading or watching. PDP has serious questions to answer. The pilot accounts both foreign and local should be track, his last conversation should be track, his family should be under the eyes of the SSS.Nobody has a monopoly of power in this country. We don't need a prohect to tell us that those two leaders where killed. Their last conversation and those around them at the burial ceremony should be interrogated as well. The womb of Justice in our land must conceive and deliver on issues like this. Arise mother spirit of Nigeria and expose Azazzi and Yokowa killers.Enough is enough.

Health / So Far On Uduaghan's Human Capital Development Agenda. by EfeTony6(m): 9:29am On Dec 10, 2012

2&3)  Education and knowledge: It is on record that Delta state spend N1.5 billion annually for scholarship programs, and also Delta as a state has the largest numbers of public paid doctors in Nigeria, along side the free health care programs which cost billions of Naira.

And one Mr. Ajaz is breaking records in Uk,as one of the best international student the school had ever admit.

Lastly when we refer to Experience and personalities,it's obvious that these persons benefiting from the scheme, will turnout to be more experienced and public figures who will uphold and protect the dignity of this state and country in the future. Permit me to state here, that the governor has delivered to the fullest on human capital development as part of his three(3) point agenda.God bless Delta state,God bless Governor Uduaghan,God bless you for taking time to read this article and God bless me as well.
