Computers / Swift Networks Hotspots-how To Hook Into It by Ekwere(m): 3:25pm On Oct 23, 2009
I am here to inform you of an ISP in Victoria Island that can solve your cybercafe issues though with some conditions attach to it before you are hooked to the network

1. The cafe MUST be conducive-airconditioners and clean environment
2. Aleast some years of experience in cafe bsuiness
3. Minimum of 15 pcs
4. Provision of a mast

You would then be hook to a new product currently being used by operators of cafe, Silverbird and tetrazinni outlets called hotspot. For the avoidance of doubt, you could go to:
1.Silverbird galleria
2.Tetrazinni outlets,
3. Ozone cafe at Ilupeju,
4. Imperial Logistics in Eleganza complex in Apapa,
5. Cybermovers in Awolowo Rd Ikeja,
6. Rechel Cafe opp Oja jakande Estate Isolo,
7. Chilten Cafe In Alara Street Onike
8.Royal Cafe in F block Moeremi Hostel and madam Tinubu Hall in Unilag and De Cafe-Shop B Unilag Shopping Complex to see for your self the truth test of speed.

This hotspot would allow your customers to use their wireless laptops or wireless PDA to browse conveniently with a scratch card for 30 minutes and 1 hour

The said company is Swift Networks Limited, you could send a mail to me for forward explanation- tufot@swiftng.com

Thank you,

@Khanye,

Look at your bighead like hammer head of horror to call Chlease rugby team, I remember when you posited that Atletico Madrid would win Chelsea but after the match you ran away from the nairaland only to appear today to write some craps because you have access to a pc, I no blame you shaa because UEFA connived to do away with Chelsea

Go and suck with your team that, lost a relatively unknown team and Xavi is crying like a baby that the did not deserve to lose as if they are invincible.

I bless the name of the Lord the day I choose Almighty Chelsea over any club, even if we lose I am with Chelsea afterall in life, we would not win win and win alright

Pyramid001:

My brother, it is not easy to start up something. Im an investor in different sectors(e.g logistics, site build, agriculture) but at the end of the day the few coins u make from where u work counts a lot. I have staffs i pay on a monthly basis but its not like i get jobs that easy. it is from this salary i pay my staffs sometimes when bizness aint booming so u see y i nid a job. I dont want to be an employer that owes his staffs. Also, sometimes it seems like more and more people are starting off what u r into thereby making getting contracts more of people u know that want the service than the quality of service been provided. Atimes it seems like if im out there 24/7 i will get more jobs but how sure is this. Whichever way, i plan to resign and face my bizness squarely early next year and i pray i excel in it. Thx for the advise though.

That is correct but do also talk to ur members of staff that you use ur hard earned money to pay their salary whereas they are not bringing anything in to warrant them collect their salary though it is not easy. I would implore you to pray for God's guidance before any decision is made. Wishing you well, you are welcome and Amen to that

Pyramid001:

My Fellow NLers, im very happy for those of you just securing good jobs and respect those of you that have the guts to resign from one.

I wish i can gather enough guts to do same as im VERY tired of where i work presently. Im working in one of these multinationals where your career path is dependent solely on your manager and unfortunately my current manager/country controller has a candidate for my desk. He is a lebanese guy and he brought in his country man like 6 months ago to come and support me as my colleagues(2 of them) resigned around the same time. Both of these colleagues had the kind of guts im wishing for although one of them got a better job before tendering her resignation. Now ive bn able to employ 3 guys one of which is a senior position and so i don't need the help/support of this 6 months that is now turning to 1 yr help. My manager has said he should remain there and now some of my mgt accesses are bn disabled and given to the guy all in the name of responsibility sharing. All of a sudden he has issues with everything i do; a job ive been doing for 6 yrs without issues(e.g your presentation is not good enough, you are too close to the customer - 'Hello, can someone pls tell him you sometimes need customer relationship to get results'., e.t.c). A lot of things i can't bother u guys with. Ive learnt that it is not always about the pay although it is important. a lot of people will do anything for this job buts its when u get there that u see u need to eat sh*t. He wants me to convert the guy to a permanent staff but wont approve the conversion of my own staffs to permanent.

One thing i've learnt is your cert and experience only gets u to the door, its ass licking and [i]high service that gets u going. I don't look forward to work as before and thats why i spend more time on NL cheesy grin. the motivation is no more there.

Imagine my controller telling me im too straight forward that u need to be political sometimes if u wanna make it. Left to me i think he sees his new appointment as the controller a GOLDMINE but now sees me as an obstruction(Like the time he wanted to buy a Lexus jeep - 17m for himself which is far above his limit and i did not approve). Its only here i know the expats come and give us bullsh*t and nothing happens. Im widely travelled and ive not seen it in any other country.

I go back to say 'i wish i had the guts to resign' - but man must chop now and continue to be a big boy although suffering in silence.

@Pyramid, I believed u have some savings that could enable you establish your own business in the terrain that you are familiar with instead of suffering in silence for the sake of still being the big boy. Think of establishing your business and do it right and remember to treat people well when you are up there.

A word is enuf for the wise

Nairalist
i had same case, in july this year i resigned in my organisation because of the witch hurting of my boss wife, infact one man busines is a night mare! pls if you re ther now start thinking of relocating because they are heartless in how they sack staff.  thereafter future seems bleak as i took my belongings home. i had no savings a lot keep ringing in my heart. two hour after my resignation, i got a call from a recruitng agency to recruit for africbank, i wrote the test and did the interview and i was selected. to resume on the 2nd of august. that same week, we were asked not to resume that the date will be announced to us. And that was the week the MD of the bank was sacked and after that we did not hear from the agency again
i still kept searching, it was not easy, no friends again, all i had was my girl friend who was always giving me cash to go searching and calling for jobs , even buying papers. it was a dilema that i will not wish my enemy to go through, even some times my girl friend do compline as a result of the pressure on her in continuing with the relationship, since i knew she was the only support i had i had to make frantic effort. then i got a job in an insurance company, UNIC insurance, as far as i am concern, the insurance coy is one of the best that one could work with, cos that still care for their staff compare to some of my collegue in other insurance firm, when they share their coy welfare package. things began to be brighter as i could get more cash to search and make contacts and in september 12th i got another great job.
Today, i am a big boy by the grace of God.i am sharing this testimony to those that are undergoing similar or about to embark on resignation, pls count the cost. dont think any will be there for u, when the going gets tough.
so that u will not be dissappointed. u have all the friend u have now because of your economical situation, if thing change your friends will run. so pls respect your girl friends, they are the only tressure you have friends and Worship God. You cant achieve great fits without God
thank God

@Stan, you are a very lucky guy to have a galfriend who takes care of you during the trying period and i say Glory to God for His mercies on you. Getting a job during this time is really really tough. God bless you and continue to hang on to God for he has many surpises for you and  DONT EVER joke with your galfriend now that you are a BIG BOY lolz though I am serious. Love, adore and cherish her the rest of your life cos she is really good
Romance / Re: Torn Between Two Men by Ekwere(m): 8:36am On Oct 22, 2009
Marriage is as important as the air you breath and if you should have a relationship with God Almighty who instituted marriage, you should be able to go on your knees and ask Him for direction. Both of them may not be the man for you, so I implore you to pray and even fast for marriage is till death do you part.

Dont be in a rush as to the UK or Nigeria guy and aside meeting the guy within a month and he proposes marriage does not mean that there is something wrong, being in friendship with your partner for 2-3 years does not guarantee everlasting marriage neither meeting your partner in a month time guarantees same.  It is God Almighty that guides, I met my wife and within 1 month I knew she is the one and we have been living happily ever, you know why? because I took the matter to God to guide and He really did ok.

Old gal, go and pray to God and dont listen to some craps here ok, wishing you well
