An abused lady has cried out for help to barrister Emeka Ugwonye to help her locate the whereabouts of her four kids, after they were taken away by her husband, without her consent.

The sad part of the issue is that her husband an indegene of Akwa-Ibom, claims three of the kids are dead.

Relating the story and seeking help from well meaning Nigerians, Barrister Emeka said;

HOW DO WE HELP THIS LADY?

This the mother of 4 children, whose case I reported yesterday. She has been a victim of domestic violence, rape and all manner of abuse by her husband over the years.

The last straw. One Sunday morning, her husband insisted that she should go to church without the children. She said she would rather not go to church if she was not going with the children. The man insisted she must go alone. She had no idea what he planned. She went to church alone. When she came back a couple of hours later, her children and her husband were nowhere to be found.

The man moved with the children to an unknown destination. The woman has done all she could to locate her children. The man contacted her to inform her that one of her children died. He later informed her that the second one died also. Now, she heard that the third child died. The woman is devastated. It is not clear what has really happened to these children.

DPA is planning a massive effort to locate these children and apprehend the man. The woman is in Bayelsa. The man is from Akwa Ibom. We believe that if these children are alive, they will be somewhere in either Bayelsa or Akwa Ibom. We will locate them.

Still, she stubbornly stayed with him till final year on campus, even though he kept messing around and playing her. Is this what ‘LOVE’ is?

Anyways, during final exams, she fainted in the library and had to be rushed to the clinic. Turned out she was pregnant… And HIV positive!

It was a mega scandal. News quickly travelled on campus and EVERYONE knew the boy was the one responsible.

Finally her mother, who believes the boy jazzed her, came and took her to a herbalist (according to gist) and that was the last we saw of her till we graduated.

The gist is that after dropping out, she left Naija in shame, and now lives in Canada, and that the baby is being cared for by her Mother.

Anyhows, I saw dude (yeah, same one) at the cinemas last week chilling with his pretty wife and 2 kids! He looked rich! And happy too!

After attempts to manually retrieve it failed, Emily says the man suggested leaving it to naturally work its way out and then left claiming he had work early the following morning.

A friend took her to hospital, where doctors warned Emily that there was a risk of it perforating her bowl due to a sharp edge and she faced surgery.

An x-ray shows just how dangerously high in Emily’s bowels that the intimacy gadget had gone.

Emily from East Preston, West Sussex, said: ‘We were having a naughty night in last March and decided to use the toy – I’d never used one before.

‘I think he got too excited and managed to push the end of it in too. It was a goner.

‘I began to panic and told him I needed to go to hospital. He said it should come out naturally on the toilet and then he said “I’m really sorry I have work early in the morning” and he shot off.

‘My housemate didn’t believe me at first but when I began to get upset she realised I wasn’t taking the mickey.’

The pair rushed to Worthing Hospital and while at A&E Emily scribbled her predicament on a piece of paper and handed it to the receptionist.

The ordeal with the butt plug almost left Emily needing a colostomy bag

Emily said: ‘I didn’t fancy saying it across the reception desk so asked for a pen and paper. ‘The receptionist said it happens a lot more often than you think and said she’d heard worse.’

Emily was assessed and then went for an x-ray which showed just high up the it had gone. Emily said: ‘I waited for three hours – by this point the pain started to kick in.

‘It was already in my bowel bashing me about and because it’s made of stainless steel it felt really heavy and uncomfortable.

‘I assumed they could get it out manually but it was only when I saw the x-ray did I realise they couldn’t and how dangerous it was.’

Attempts were made to retrieve it manually, but the jewel-encrusted intimacy gadget had to be surgically removed

‘I’m petrified of needles so when they lay me down and a nurse put a line in I realised they needed to operate. I was terrified.’

As she was being wheeled to theatre the following day, doctors told Emily if they couldn’t extract it rectally they might have to go through the bowel and take some out which could mean at least six months with a colostomy bag.

The toy also had a fake sharp-edged gem on its base which doctors warned could have perforated her bowel. Emily said: ‘Obviously when they said about the colostomy bag I was devastated – I’m only 20. ‘

I’m a carer and I’ve seen colostomy bags – they’re not pretty, I’ve never been so frightened.

‘When they spoke about the gem and that it could perforate my bowel I was devastated that a night of fun could have killed me.’

Emily was so embarrassed that she wrote what had happened to her on a piece of paper to inform staff at A&E.

At 2pm on March 29 Emily underwent hour-long surgery which involved placing a camera inside her before manually extracting it.

Post-surgery nurses offered the toy as a keepsake which she accepted.

Emily said: ‘When I first woke up I wanted to go back to sleep as I didn’t want to look down at my tummy in case they had to cut me open to get to it.

‘As they didn’t have to go through my stomach I’m guessing they managed to get it out the other way.’

She was discharged the following day and tentatively made her way home.

Emily now wants to raise awareness and urge anyone in a similar predicament to seek medical attention.

Emily said: ‘If anyone is in the same situation I would advise to obviously try and get it out yourself first but then definitely take yourself straight to the hospital if you can.

Limpopo Police have launched a massive manhunt, after a woman’s body was found mutilated at the Maungani Village just outside Thohoyandou this weekend.

The deceased has not been identified yet, but the South African police believe that she was in her twenties. Her body was discovered in local bushes by a passer-by.

Leading investigation and haunt for the person or persons responsible for the horrific crime is the Deputy Provincial Commissioner of Detectives, Major General Bafana Linda, the commissioner believes more than one person is responsible as it appears to be a ritual killing related from the presentation of the body found

“The motive behind this incident is suspected to be related to a ritual killing however police investigations are continuing,” said police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

“No arrest have been made as yet and anyone who can assist in the identification of the deceased and who can assist in the information about the suspects involved in this matter, is requested to contact Brigadier James Espach at 0825760743 or the nearest Police Station or to contact Thohoyandou Police Station, Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or SMS detailed information to Crime Line at 32211,” added Ngoepe.

The Kairos Rhema Embassy in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state on Sunday was in chaos as the wife of the pastor stormed the church and disrupted the service by forcefully gaining entrance into the church hall .
