@op this is just a phase dear. You have to constantly remind yourself that life isn't a bed of roses and we can't have it all. There's the hard times and the good times which don't often last. But then in the world we live in you have to learn to self-motivate because trust me every ones going through one thing or the other.

Try and get out of the house everyday, idleness breeds negative thoughts. Avoid isolation, when you in the house, try and communicate with your family more, learn a new skill, there's alot you can learn on the internet than you know. Draw closer to God, he alone can fill the void that you feel and stay happy (you owe yourself that).

Hi op.

I recently got an IPhone 7+ but noticed it only browses on 2G which is extremely slow. Took it for repair but I was told nothing could be done to fix it. Contacted the vendor I got it from and he said it was browsing on 4G prior to my purchase and that I must have changed the settings.

Don't know if you can assist.

Cool.. I really like and respect this Woman. She stuck by her Man throughout the trying moments and that made him come back stronger and better.. Kim herself is also a resourceful Woman, a hustler and one who pushes people to greatness... Most Naija ladies are just leaches looking for ready made men they can keep milking and put their miserable burdens on while they remain idle and useless. All they mostly have to offer is sex.. We get them plenty for this Nairaland sef.. By their comments here, we know them. I no wan mention name today sha..

Career / Re: My Dilemma As Contract Staff In A Bank by Elssa(f): 11:15am On Jun 25, 2020
frog12:
some of you are simply mad for following money blindly !
you complain of low income. 62k every month with health insurance. so in a month transport is around 5k, you have 57k to do as you like. your income is good. many will want to be in your shoes with low transport expenditure. tell your family members to also look for work.

i know some people that complain of their work and when you ask where dey live. they tell you lekki. i laugh. lekki is for rich people that can afford paying tolls. why you wan move around like a rich man when you are not? your transport expense go burn like candle on your manageable income. dont chase money blindly.

Olawrites:
Is there any future for me as a contract employee in a Nigerian bank. Pay is 60k after tax. In Lagos the cost of living is very harsh.

My dilemma is I'm not fulfilled being a contract staff. Feel like I'm wasting my youthful days. Though, I have online biz to survive on if at all I resign. I'm also building more model.

But then, I'm looking at the career prospect in the future.

I need elderly advise pls

I need front page please biko ejo

I'm a contract staff too and know how it feels. I think it's all about setting goals for yourself, how long do you want to be there for, then works towards it.

You already have a business, find a balance between the two and ensure your business is growing too. Also, see yourself as an applicant and never stop applying for better jobs.

Don't quit your job yet unless you have a better sustainable means of income. Stay woke smiley

You could infer this from the time the account was created. Definitely, someone whose account was created before 2008 should be referred to as a veteran.
That's more than 6 years on this forum.

But then again, there are some people who registered long ago but don't normally comment that much, would you also say they are "veterans" or "masters"

There are also others that may have been on this forum for quite a long time, but may have deactivated for one reason or the other and recently created new accounts. Would you call them veterans based on the Nairaland knowledge and experience they have, or amateurs, by reason of their current accounts?

Someone could also be a guest for a long time and in that time, gather a lot of information about Nairaland members and the way thing work on this forum. Would you classify such user under the class of veteran?
Just seeing this........

Well, keeping in mind that the topic was based on Assumption. No such thing as "Star" or "Status" on NL.Buh if there were to be,i'd say your Status/Status progress should be based on how "Active" you are as a member.whether oldbie or newwbie,

Happy weekend ahead smiley
