Your uncle has properly determined that what you need is not a loan, but food, and that's exactly what he gave you, and even gave you raw fish to take home so your wife can cook and feed you and your children. Entitlement and uncouthness is written all over your post. I can imagine the horror your uncle mats have been dealing with just trying to manage your unrealistic expectations of him. My advice to you is to go find a job, do it and save up with ajo, then use that as a means of raising the capital you need for whatever you want to do. Your uncle 6 Likes |

If the guy did not act quickly she would be alive now claiming she acted in self defense and is traumatized, and not surprisingly there will be enough nitwits to buy her bollocks. Then online campaigners for clemency will crate an industry out of the young man's demise. 7 Likes |

They use the vainglorious adulation as part of image laundering, same way a certain drug lord, election mandate thief is hunting for congratulatory messages like ant go for sugar. They corrupt every state institution to do their bidding with evil use of filthy lucre. Eagle o, EYE NECK o, Olopka o, Sickle Sell Services oh, and of recent even the Lords temporal are not spared, hence the popular rhetoric: Go to court. KingSatan: 1 Like 1 Share |

Most of the idiots making noise have not even taken time to read the caption and to realize that it was an article published by Sahara Reporters and the author is one Bolaji O. Akinyemi. Did you even read about one Igbo person complaining about Tinubu's appointment? Haba mana! Who has bewitched this generation of unlettered and mentally challenged children ejoor? 3 Likes |

In my very careful observation of these issues in this country, only one outcome is what I foreseen - in the far future, the younger generation will get tired of all these talk of religion and begin to distrust religion more and more and eventually stop giving it relevance. |

Isn't it ironic that all these evil was committed while being a active member of a church? We just have religious but godless people in Nigeria. Like running church and babalawo concurrently? 15 Likes |

Isn't it ironic that such punitive migration laws are gaining ground under the rule of a PM who is largely an immigrant himself. 53 Likes 3 Shares |

Investment that have yielded zero dividends, what use is it? Anumpam! This investment is now a toxic asset. We gave PDP everything, yet coconut heads like you could not organize to negotiate with a strong voice for a presidential candidate ticket and here you are talking like a drunk man. ewu kambia 2 Likes 1 Share |

Why do Nigerians feel they are entitled to acts of 'help' or charity from others they think are richer? Our entitlement should come only from the government, Local, State especially, to whom we pay our taxes. If we paid heath insurance, we demand claims when issues like this arise or government should pay. That's why we are citizens and we pay taxes. It's high time Nigerians began demanding real service from our governments at all levels, not just to be shouting Buhari up and down and be bullying rich people. They don't owe nothing to anyone. |

The average voter in a certain part of the country sees Nigeria from two fundamental scopes: ethnicity and religion. Political parties are only a vehicle for actualizing the objective of retaining power and it does not matter which one it is, their interest is constantly founded on the 2 pillars already mentioned. With Buhari as the target, they voted him massively in 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019, despite his contesting on the platform of APP, ANPP, CPC and APC on those occasions. Now there is no Buhari on the ballot anywhere, but there is Kwankwaso and Atiku. They will make an informed decision who amongst those two stands the greatest chance of winning, to retain their relevance and political dominance. Use your tongue to count your teeth. May I remind you that in 2015, once they determined that power must come to the North, even members occupying big positions in PDP, who did not defect openly, were secretly working for APC and Buhari's emergence. In the end they keep party affiliation where it belongs and follow their ethnic and religious interest first. Then they talk about one North, just to confuse the Northern indigenous people, who are mostly Christians and live in the Middle Belt. But once they take power, they relegate them to the background. It is those of in the South wey no dey use sense for these matters in this country. In a month time, common sense shall be needed to make any sense in this polity, while voting. 1 Like 1 Share |

Mryacks: My sentiments too. I think she is inadvertently playing her kids into an arena that could leave them unnecessarily psychologically damaged. She keeps posting family pictures without their father, it send a distorted message to the kids, especially the boys. Women tend to play this victim card and inadvertently or deliberately manipulate their children into taking sides and they end up growing to see their father as a villain and develop hatred for him. They too live with so much hurt, which should not be the case. If you have an issue with your husband, as much as possible deal with it and protect your kids from the drama, not manipulating them into allies and father haters. 3 Likes |

daboy18: Unfortunately your dad's apparent inability to be the man of the house has affected you too in a negative way. A sheep can't raise a lion. Your chance at survival is that you have to get more adventurous, wipe out what you learned from your father, go out there and seek education on how to be a man. Teach and groom yourself to be what your father could not be. Your mother did not just beat your father because he is weak from diabetes, she has already beat him and been beating him psychologically for a very long time. Trust me there is a reason other animals are still afraid of an old, sick and even wounded lion. It's a mind thing and if a man fails to be the man in the manner God has assigned the duty to him as the king lion, the head of the pride, then hyenas like your mother will fill the role. At 20 I could imagine myself and the things I could do, the decisions I could take. At 17 I was already bold and big enough mentally to live a lone in a different town from my parents, yet I was in SS3. At 17 there were tough decisions I took despite all efforts by my father to impose his choice on me. He eventually had no choice but to respect my emergence a a man of my own. At 20 I was already way into my undergrad studies, the question of my parents disrespecting me was not even contemplated. You are 20 and from the way you wrote, you seem helpless. You need to start being a man by standing up to your mother in a way that she could understand that you are not afraid of losing anything she thinks she could offer or withhold from you. You father did not do it, that's why your mother has the guts to beat him up and dare him to do his worst, which is perhaps cry like you did. If you want it be respected, you have to earn it and trust me it is not served a la carte. When you are ready to be the man, then you will realize that you run decisions with your head, more that your heart and if you need to physically teach your mother a few lessons, the man in you will do it. For now, I can only hear a boy speaking like a child. '''My mother my mother''. What you wrote above tells me you are still a 20 year old child. Grow up, else your condition will be worse than your father's. 4 Likes |

KingLennon: Nothing will happen to Nigeria, so Nigeria will explode because of a bunch of misguided and inconsequential idiots? Serious men fought a war for 3 years and Nigeria still prevailed, MEND and Niger Delta militants, Boko Haram and ISWAP all have not exploaded Nigeria and it is these bunch of common street criminals? People that normally be the hood rats, armed robbers, renegades, touts and cultists who think the noise about Biafra is now a cover of legitimacy for their nefarious activities. They shall all be crushed like bugs they are. For your information, this has nothing to do with aspiration of Igbo people. Igbo people are well placed in Nigeria and are perhaps the biggest contributors to Nigeria's unity and also a big beneficiary of a united Nigeria. So don't let activities of a very few jobless criminals confuse you. Igbo people just like every other group in Nigeria are only asking to be treated fairly, justly and equitably, nothing more, and these rascals don't speak for Igbo people. They are seeking for relevance to continue crime unchecked, that's why they are attacking Police formations and government set ups. 1 Like |

Naira will appreciate in December. Returning folks from overseas will come in with lots of the Greenback and will need to spend Naira. I expect CBN to also tighten monetary policy on long term savings in domicilliary accounts, making it unprofitable to save Dollars long term in Dom accounts. This will make the streets awash with USD. Naira will gain more. In addition to these, the Forecados terminal thst just resumed crude oil exports will increase oil output by about 300K bbl per day, the Brent price has began to rise above 90$/ bbl again, so in a nutshell the CBN will witness increase Forex receipts and you know the result, Naira will gain. So think again before you bet against the Naira. 5 Likes |
