This is so sad. May their souls rest in peace. I am angry with Gov Lalong and his co-sycophants for the show of shame during PMB visit to Plateau last week. All the speakers at the town hall meeting claimed that peace has returned to plateau state and Gov Lalong is doing well. We now have useless cowards as elders on the Plateau. angry

PDP ruined this nation

A dead APC is better than a living pdp
You are very ignorant. The last pdp administration in plateau state completely changed the face of Jos metropolis with good roads, bridges and other infrastructure. The pdp lost in the last election because the former governor was nepotistic not because of performance. The Apc administration on the plateau is mediocre

Any one resident in Jos know these drama is not a reflection of the pulse of Plateau indigenes towards PMB at the moment. In fact there was an attack on Daffo in Bokkos LGA by suspected herdsmen Wednesday night before his arrival. The attacks are so frequent now that the state govt just ignores the people to their fate. I am afraid he will get less votes in 2019 than he did in 2015.

Just waiting patiently for these deceptive crooks to leave power. The very first probe a post-Buhari regime should institute is the forex dealings since 2015 under Buhari. The whole Mr integrity myth will be buried for good. Wicked, nepotistic, poverty inflicting government angry

I am not surprised. The biggest fraud in this regime is dollar racketeering facilitated by multiple Forex windows.

Stop playing around with words. University dons, judges and others I mentioned are civil servants. They work for government institutions

[quote author=ihatesycophant post=65487347]
Why mingling preferential treatment given to university dons with what is applicable and written boldly in Public Service Rule. I am quite aware of the advantage given to the university professors on their age limit but here where talking of civil service as claimed by many commentators here that they pay tax for over 40 years. I know many of them may not even know such rule exist and thinking workers can work perpetually, not minding there are rules that guide their stay in service.

By public service rule, no employee works more than 35 years of active service. You guys need to stop commenting on things you know next to nothing about. The problem you guys have, is looking for all avenue to just criticise without a single prerequisite knowledge of subject matter.
Not true. Retirement age is 70 for professorial cadre in public universities same for justices of the Supreme Court. Non teaching staff of universities retirement age is 65 courtesy SSANU/FGN 2009 agreement.

Politics / Re: Fresh N11b Refund Is For Infrastructure, not salary: Fayose by enlady(f): 3:18pm On Feb 13, 2018
Thanks for the clarification.
iyilax:
Ekiti State did not receive N11bn from FG
Our APC friends are still trying to sustain their lies that FG paid Ekiti govt N11bn for federal roads constructed. They have even issued Press Statement in my name.
Question is: Could the FG have paid N11bn to Ekiti State without the major media houses reporting it?
Fact is, no N11bn was paid to Ekiti State and interested members of the public can check Federal Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Works and Accountant General of the Federation WEBSITES.
Between 2004 and 2014, Ekiti State government spent a sum of N15, 720,513,024.08 on construction and rehabilitation of federal roads in the State, out of which N3.5bn was refunded.
N1.5bn was refunded in November 2004 while N2bn was refunded in December 2007.
The total refund still due to Ekiti State is N12.2bn.
Since 2007, no refund has been made to Ekiti State by the FG.
It should be recalled that in 2015, these same APC people went town with the story of FG refunding N22bn to Ekiti State.
The mischief in their heads didn't let them realise that FG only owed Ekiti N12.2bn. How could FG that is owing N12.2bn have refunded N22bn?
Since the devilish suit they filed in Abeokuta, Ogun State, asking the FG not to pay the N12.2bn owed Ekiti State to the govt of Fayose was exposed, the APC spin-doctors went to town with the lie that N11bn was paid.
Finally, I wish to state once again that no N11bn was paid to Ekiti State. In fact, court papers on the suit filed by Fayemi's former Commissioner for Finance, Dapo Kolawole was served on the govt last week Friday and effort is now being made by the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice to respond to the suit.
Ekiti people, especially the public servants should therefore discountenace any report on Social media, claiming that N11bn was paid to Ekiti State by the FG.

Op could you add a link to the post?
Meanwhile I am very disappointed in this wicked form of governance by Fayose. Some weeks back he called a press conference alleging he couldn't pay backlog of salaries due to non release of funds from FG. Now the funds are released and he is making a somersault. What does he take Ekiti people for? Any leader with no respect for the followership cannot go far.
I have a soft spot for the PDP but individuals like Fayose are bad market for the party.

This is a nonsensical and stupid statement from Inec. The state electoral commission conduct LG elections using Inec voters register and Inec issued PVCs. These child voters are in Inec register and have PVCs.

Fayose intends to use the money to finance the election of his puppet Olushola Eleka and then loot the rest. This is definitely not about Ekiti workers. The money should be withheld till a new government is formed in Ekiti.
You guys never learn from the past. This was the same bitter politics Apc played in Kogi before Yahya Bello was sworn in. Bail out funds were with held from Gov Idris Wada till Yahya Bello came in. Look at the mess Bello has plunged Kogi into. Idris Wada is a thousand times more responsible than the present clown. This sheer wickedness against Ekiti people

obailala:
FG embarks on larger projects which typically spans several tenures, most of these projects when started would most likely be commisioned by a successor. Like someone mentioned above, Buhari completed and commissioned the Abuja to Kaduna rail which was started by GEJ. Very soon, Buhari will also commission the Abuja light rail which was started by OBJ. Buhari has also started the Lagos to Ibadan and Kano to Kaduna railways which would be commissioned by a successor.

There's nothing new about this logic, besides say OBJ who ruled for a complete 8 years, I doubt you can also provide any project started and finished by Yaradua or Jonathan.
Reasonable points from you when it involves PMB. But your lot consistently deride GEJ for not completing projects. Stop the hypocrisy

As i stated on an earlier post by OP this is eye opening. I dont know what to make of the deceit and wickedness this regime is inflicting on us. Unfortunately it seems Nigerians are under a spell, suffering and smiling. How can medical essentials like antimalarials and antibiotics skyrocket due to increased tax and someone is declaring N1 trillion as revenue from customs? increased revenue at the expense of the health of the masses. This is not a progressive government!

Good one OP
