Shooo I tired for some of una. Any good news na fake news. Anyway with this development those hard working and humble farmers will not go hungry and be living from mouth to mouth. Instead of their farm produce going to waste, accumulating loss or not making enough gain due to some wicked middle men who takes advantages of them, they will have the chance to improve their lot just like those in the cassava sector have been doing.

To those of you talking of meeting local consumption how many locally produce goods have you purchase even if they are of good quality? How many? How many of you will buy cassava bread, cassava cake, cassava snacks ?

though I don't pray for it but you people should not think that other tribe in the region will not get involve, what the ijaw are suffering now they too are also suffering it and them not making noise and taking up arm is not because they are scared but because majority of them still believe in peaceful negotiations with the nigeria state but for how long.

They are all patiently watching and waiting for the response and action of the nigeria state come 2015.

If you people think that the like of asari and co will be the champion if things get worse between the nigeria state and niger delta state, then you people need to go back again and research. There are people and will be people who are more intelligent, calculative and sometime more cold blooded who will be more than ready to go to any length to protect the interest of the niger deltan which is equality fairness and justice. The average niger deltan are not looking for anything more than that.

Yes today it is the ijaw that are making all the noise (dem sabi make noise do gragra join am) but note the rest are watching no matter the difference between them. yes there maybe division but believe me unity is slowly forming back because they are now wiser but unfortunately some have become over wise.

Yes Gej may not be the best thing that happened to nigeria after the long existence of Agege bread but if he must be voted out, it should be based on the performance of his duty not because he is from the other side of river niger that is what an average niger deltan want.

@anubabe, you are welcome to this glorious thread in jesus name. Try and get yourself booked for the deliverance session on the last thursday of this month but before then you can be going for the prayer session every thursday that is if you are chance. And try and check your life to block those loophole that the devil has been using to destroy and deprive us of our glory and blessing. Things like those innocent and little little lies, anger, un forgiveness, malice, envy e.t.c. And never loose your faith in God. Once again you are welcome.

@mama godsent, happy weekend to you too

To the glory of God our heavenly father, I want to share this with you all. Psalms 37 verses 1- 3 but better if you read it all because you have a lot to gain by doing so. This was ministered to me in the dream though I couldn't remember everything even the verse but while trying to recollect things I somehow stumble to this chapter and felt it to be the one that was ministered to me psalms 37 verses 1 - 3 please take note of verse 8

Fret not thyself because of
evildoers, neither be thou envious against the
workers of iniquity.

2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and
wither as the green herb.

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell
in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give
thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him;
and he shall bring it to pass.

6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the
light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not
thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to
pass.

8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself
in any wise to do evil.

9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait
upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be:
yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it
shall not be.

11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall
delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

12 The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth
upon him with his teeth.

13 The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day
is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have
bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and
to slay such as be of upright conversation.

15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and
their bows shall be broken.

16 A little that a righteous man hath is better than the
riches of many wicked.

17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the
LORD upholdeth the righteous.

18 The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their
inheritance shall be for ever.

19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in
the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the
LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall
consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but
the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth;
and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD:
and he delighteth in his way.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for
the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not
seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging
bread.

26 He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is
blessed.

27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for
evermore.

28 For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his
saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of
the wicked shall be cut off.

29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell
therein for ever.

30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and
his tongue talketh of judgment.

31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps
shall slide.

32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to
slay him.

33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor
condemn him when he is judged.

34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall
exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are
cut off, thou shalt see it.

35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and
spreading himself like a green bay tree.

36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I
sought him, but he could not be found.

37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for
the end of that man is peace.

38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together:
the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he
is their strength in the time of trouble.

40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he
shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them,
because they trust in him.

The rot in the education system is as a result of corruption which did not start from this government but rest on this government to do something about.

We are all talking and saying government should meet their demand which to me is okay but nobody has ever talk about how this money will be judiciously utilised to developed the system. Nobody is talking about check and balance on the part of the lecturers and their vice chancellors so as to make sure is not business usual. Do you people want to tell me that this lecturers and vice chancellors are not corrupt?

We are not fighting this fight the way we should.

@op, please let not start what we can't stop later ooh.

Do you know that before the fuel subsidy price, for a very long time that comprises of years the people of that region paid triple of what you paid for a litter of fuel here in lagos, they have the oil in abundance, pay heavy a price to make use of it and it was a very scarce commodity then.

So do we have a moral right to blame them for not joining in the fuel subsidy struggle? Were we not in this country with them before the fuel subsidy. They cried but nobody listen to them, na wetin concern me we dey do then as long as our own no spoil. If na you dey their shoe how you go behave or feel to see people dey make noise dey scatter for over wetin dem don over endure come turn to normal thing?

So please before you form an opinion of people or a person, try and know where they are coming from, how their journey has been like and their condition.

About the ASUU things please get your fact right, to me is like you are trying to sectionalised this things and its not a good thing to do.

One love and be blessed .

wirinet:

I am surprised the above rejoinder could have come from no less a person than professor Jega himself, it is full of contradictions and so much illogicality. The parts I bolded is a paradox, how can you accuse people of not taking advantage of the contineous registration advice to re-register and at the same time accuse them of double registration? Does someone who registered in 2011 with their full biodata captured need to come again and register in this contineous registration exercise without being accused of double registration? this question is very important before 2015 elections, when the national continuous voters registration exercise starts, wont those of us who had already registered in 201 be accused of double registration if we registered again and be accused of non validation if we refuse to re-register? either way, is an excuse for not finding our name in the final voters list.

Jega is behaving as if simple voters registration is rocket science. Why is no accurate data base of all voters that registered in 2011? after all they took all our biodata. Does it take forever to compile the data base?, something a 200 level computer sciemce can undertake.

Jega should stop making excuses, the voter is not expected to pay for INEC's incompetences, it is the fundamental right of a person who registered to vote and came on voting day to actually vote.

Bros take am easy no be inec fault say some people no fit vote say their name no they register. We should stop doing things as usual and do things right.

Days before the election the electronic register was out for people to come out and check their name considering a lot of changes that took place due to multiple registration and the manual register and don't forget all the political party were notified of this, campaign were carried out by inec to sensitize the public about the changes, so tell me, is the fault that of inec

People should leave this woman alone. If she can't constructively speak good and correct english is it any of their business?

Do they want her to be relegated to the background by her husband and have someone who can speak replace her as first lady after going through a lot with her husband?

In fact she deserved our commendation for being bold enough to speak the way she know how to.

How many of us mocking her can authoritatively boast of our capacity to constructively speak good english fluently. In fact most of us think we speak good english, speaking through our nose instead of our mouth and the most funny thing is that, the good and correct english that we speak are nothing but plain vanacular.
