I did academic I will advise academic cos the professional world would take academic but academic will not take general training. And it's valid for two years.

Thanks.I mailed a prof in alberta stating my interest in her area of research and asking her the admission procedure, she replied me that I should go ahead with my application if I meet the department requirement.Does it mean she is considereing me as one of her student and how do I keep my communication with her intact?Because she didn't tell me to send anything like my cv or any proposal. What's your thought on this @ all? Thanks

Seems you missed my poInt...I said it strengthens applications and it might be looked into to add points to already weak application...both at embassy and schools...I was told by the school not to write...but thank God a Nigerian
prof in my school advised me to write..and with 35k Naira...i got scholarship of $20k plus cos of it....I don't think you won't like that?
And most decent jobs...especially one that will require interacting with people like Pharmacy,Medicine and the likes most time requests...
Its a definite requirement for Pharmacy!
Bros...with the way they treat immigrants on jobs here...they might not tell you IELTS is why they arnt giving you the job!
But imagine you go for an interview competing with an European who couldn't speak English well and they saw that in your app you had IELTS...you can be considered cos of that!
You have got nothing to loose writing it but might mSis an opportunity not writing it!

Pls which of test option is better is it the academic or general test? And what is the duration for the validity of the test?

The MScPH is intented for research focused candidates. For example if you want to further to PhD, work in academia etc. The MPH is a professional master program. It is practice based with some research features in some cases.
Generally, you are required to secure a supervisor when you are applying for a research based program in canada.
Ualberta is cheaper than saskatchewan for this particular program. i do not have any details concerning lethbridge.
Adaptability...i am not in canada yet. Sorry.

Thanks,am very grateful for the useful insights.

About 13 universities have Master in Public Health and/or allied programs. Some are online, some are classroom based. Some have specific concentrations while some dont. Most have practicum though-which is essential.
There are MPH and MSc tracks in a few of the universities.
In most cases funding is MSC public health...because it is research based... But there could still be opportunities for course based candidates/students.
So you would have to be specific.
Check out these schools UBC, SFU, MUN, Queens, Toronto, saskatchewan, and alberta.Mun has a one year program while the others a two years.
Obviously there are so many factors/features to consider, but check them out first then lets have your opinion/s.

Pls which do u think is better between the Msc research base and the Mph course base? Some of the school requires identifying a potential supervisor before admission can be granted, pls do you know of any of the school that do not require contacting supervisors?Seem to like usask, alberta and uleth.what's ur advice about this schools in terms of tuition fee and adaptability. Thanks
