Business / Here's How To Build An Online Business. by Favour2309: 8:02am On Sep 16, 2023
Are ready to dive into the online business game? Buckle up because. it’s gonna be a wild ride! In this guide, we’ll show you how to build a kick-ass online business that’ll have them talking. Get ready to rock and roll, my friend!

First things first, find your groove. Figure out what gets you pumped and what niche you wanna rock in. Scope out the competition, do some detective work, and get a feel for what’s sizzling hot.

Now, let’s talk game plan. You have to sketch out your battle strategy. Set your goals, map out your tactics, and get those cash registers ringing. It’s all about having a roadmap to success, my dear friend.😉

Time to get your online crib all decked out. Your website’s have to be sleek, user-friendly, and leave them saying “wow!” Make sure it’s easy to find on Google, too. You don’t wanna hide in the dark corners of the internet, do ya?

Okay, here’s the secret sauce: killer products or services. Do your research, tap into your genius, and serve up something that knocks their socks off. Give them what they want and make them come back for more. Oh, and don’t forget to treat your customers like royalty.

Now, let’s spread the word like wildfire! Social media, baby! Get chatty, share cool stuff, and build a tribe of loyal followers. Don’t be shy to show your personality and stand out from the crowd. I was once shy 🤭 too. And hey, if you got some extra dough to spare, throw it into some targeted ads. You have to hustle to get noticed!

Keep an eye on the scoreboard. Track your website traffic, conversions, and engagement. Listen to your peeps, gather feedback, and fine-tune your moves. Stay agile and be ready to pivot when the winds of change blow your way.

Alright, my friend, you’ve got the lowdown. Building an online business ain’t for the faint-hearted, but with passion and perseverance, you can totally make it rain. So, go out there, rock your niche, and let the online world feel your presence. Get ready to unleash your kick-ass online business and make waves!

Technology Market / 4 Challenges Faced By Startups. by Favour2309: 7:10pm On Sep 14, 2023
You must have heard about the theory ‘survival of the fittest’; you must also have heard a statement: “A smooth sea never makes good sailors”.

Both the ‘survival of the fittest’ theory and the statement above fit really well with the world of startups. And the world of startups is a violent one.

But the question remains, how many startups tend to survive the violent waves of change that have completely transformed the very nature of today’s startups?

Yes, there is a huge paradigm shift. And that shift has challenged the overall functionality of startups.

I am not going to go into details about what is a startup and how it works; we all know that. In this particular post, I am going to elaborate about some of the biggest challenges being faced by small business startups.

🔴 Fierce Competition

The corporate world is quite fierce. There is always a competition going on between the giants. Competition poses one of the biggest challenges for the survival of startup businesses.

💛 Unrealistic Expectations

Success does not come alone. It brings expectations with it. Most of the times, these expectations seem realistic, But in the real sense of the word, are merely unrealistic. This same concept holds true for young startups.

🔴 Cyber Security

This is the digital age. And surviving the challenges in this age requires small startups especially, the ones operating online – to be super agile to counter the so called online security threats. Hackers are everywhere, and they are going to take advantage of any loophole within the systems installed within a startup firm.

💛 Winning Trust of Customers
Customer is the king. And that’s absolutely right. Winning a customer’s trust is one of the most important challenges that businesses in general – and startups in particular – face today. With a highly satisfied and loyal customer base, startups can scale and make progress towards excellence.

It is a fact that there is no single stop solution to the surmounting challenges facing the startups in this age. You don’t have a magic wand either that can help you solve the so called challenges overnight.

In order to face and tackle the so called challenges of a violent business world, startups first need a business plan, need to be resilient and focus on keeping their integrity in tact against all odds.

Need, an expert to help you elevate your business ideas to your dream success height?

Nairaland / General / If You Don't Move Very Quickly In Your Career, Do This. by Favour2309: 11:26am On Mar 11, 2023
I feel a lot of pressure as a young person to launch a company, make a transaction, sign that contract, or put that concept into action.

If you don't move very quickly, at least keep up with the world's rapid acceleration, you risk falling behind.

Occasionally, I am compelled to believe subconsciously that I am not accomplishing enough or that I am still engaging in the game of mediocrity. Maybe! 🤔

This belief is supported by my surroundings, therefore maybe my mind is tricking me. I am stuck in this never-ending cycle of wondering, and I am already desperate for things to happen in my life "What time will it be? How will it take place? What will I do next? What lies ahead?"

I find it difficult to respond and end up becoming perplexed as I lose myself in this idealized world of my imagination.

But after that, thinking back on my past experiences, accomplishments, and failures, particularly the voyage thus far, and connecting the dots, I can see the possibilities that lie ahead for me.

You might be experiencing those phases of doubting or having similar thoughts to mine.

Evaluation of my prior successes, actions, and accomplishments has served as a form of escape for me.

With these accomplishments as a foundation, I can look ahead with renewed confidence and gain the knowledge I need to keep working hard.👷‍♂️

I hardly often write in this style, but when I do, it's usually out of concern for young people like me who need assistance to cope with such sentiments and occurrences.

Never compare yourself to other people all the time. Always keep in mind that the objective is to improve on yesterday's performance.

Nairaland / General / My Close Friend In The Army Died From A Bomb Blast Barely A Year After Joining T by Favour2309: 1:09pm On Mar 09, 2023
This time last year, 5yrs after graduation (no job), I made my first N100k online in one week. Then I realized I had been "suffering for nothing." Why?

See this timeline:

▶️ 2012 - I got admitted into UNIBEN to study Sociology and Anthropology

▶️ 2014 - I resolved to join the Nigerian army after my Bachelor's program. The projected monthly salary was N100k and it seemed BIG to me 😀

▶️ 2015 - My close friend in the army died from a bomb blast barely a year after joining the army. My military ambition died with him 😞

▶️ 2016 (July) - I graduated from UNIBEN with no future ambition, battling depression from the loss of my friend.

▶️ 2016 (October) - I got a job as a sales rep with Indomie noodles. Salary - N16k.

▶️ 2017 (October) - after one year without a job, I got a graphics design job. Salary N12k - it felt like I was moving from grass to gutter.

▶️ 2018 - I quit the design job after 2 months and started learning 2d animations and motion design.

▶️ 2020 - pandemic came. I got my first N20k gig for 2d animation. I noised the news because this was the highest I ever earned since I graduated 🥲

▶️ 2021 (January) - I got an online graphics design job. Salary - N30k. This was one of the most depressing moments of my life.

▶️ 2021 (October) - after 7 months of fear and contemplation, I decided to learn affiliate marketing under a coach. All my efforts to make money online before this time had failed.

▶️ 2021 (November) - I made my first 2 sales on a Monday amounting to N50k. I ended the week with N100k in commission.

I looked at the sales on my dashboard and I got teary. So this money is mine? Made under one week? Then what have I been doing with my brain all these while? Why didn't I start this earlier than I did?

More important than the money made was the new expanded mindset about wealth creation the experience gave me. I realized I had been suffering for nothing - I allowed the fear of failure to keep me from taking action towards my goals.

In one year I've earned more than I did in the last 10yrs combined and coached several others to change their narrative with just their smart phones and data connection. Now I dream BIGGER. 🚀

Never allow the fear of failure to keep you from taking actions towards your goals. You're better off trying than not making efforts at all.

I hope this inspires you.
Nairaland / General / Here Is How To Make At Least N1m A Month With A Simple Info-product by Favour2309: 11:51am On Mar 07, 2023
Here is How to Make At Least N1m a Month With A Simple Info-Product

N1m a month in net profits with an info-product is now an easy achievement.

Believe it or nay

This is how:

(1) Make sure your info-product is targeted at big markets (Business, Investing & Money, Dating, Sex and Relationships, Health & Beauty, Travel) - This product can be a simple PDF

(2) Price it for at least N15k (Because you will need to spend money on ads)

If your profit per sale is N10k, this means you need just 100 sales a month.

If your conversion is killer, maybe you can sell for below N15k and still hit your targets.

(3) Create a killer VSL that converts cold traffic to sell it (Or a webinar if it is N30k and above)

* All the bestselling Clickbank products use VSLs to sell for a reason

(4) If you can't do No. 3 above, then use a decent sales letter + powerful email followups

(5) Get consistent traffic from FB, Adwords and Youtube or Use All (Actually, I think just one of these sources is more than alone if your target is N1m a month)

(6) Force yourself to focus on the funnel, adjust if need be, but focus

If your product sells for N15k and you make 100 sales a month, that is N1.5m

Let's say ads, autoresponders, hosting etc cost N500k

That means you are left with a net profit of N1m

Did I shock you 😅

The 3 most important things here are:

(1) A relatively hot product (which is very easy to get! Amaka if you don't have your product or service, promote that of some other persons!!!!! This is where Affiliate Marketing comes in)!!!!!!

(2) The conversion machine aka the sales copy or VSL + Emails (this is where many Nigerians miss it, weak sales copies all over the place)

(3) Traffic

I don't care what you think

This is easy to do with the necessary skills

The issue is majority of people can't focus and commit to doing one thing well and here's where the problem lies.

Always jumping from idea to idea like squirrels

Anyway...I don talk my own

Nairaland / General / How I Made My First Million Naria As A Broke Undergraduate by Favour2309: 11:54am On Mar 06, 2023
I turned 20 September 23rd last year as a 3rd year undergraduate in the university with zero clarity of what I wanted! All I knew was that I wanted to be young and successful.

I've mentioned numerous times how I went from confused to making six figures in months to doing it in 30 days to seven days to now making six figures in as little as 24 hours at times in the same year.

It's and I want to share with you how I was able to achieve this in just 6 steps!

I paid more than $260 in total for these things—courses, e-books, etc.—but I'll give them to you without charge:

💥Plan:

Good things rarely occur by accident. You will never ask a body builder how they did it when you meet them with their entire physique built and he claims that "it just happened!". Successful people plan well.

💥Create a Budget: Do you want to spend all of your newly earned money on everything? Dey play. The golden rule is don't spend more than you earn, and focus on what you can keep.

💥Be debt free: Try as much as possible to stay away from debt no matter how little it seems! 6 months into business, I was in massive debt, I was only working to pay what I owed!

💥Invest in yourself:
you're investing in your future by investing in yourself. you are your greatest asset!

💥Take risks & diversify: Try new things because you will never know which is it for you and while you find one that suits what you stand for, stay at it, be consistent.

You will eventually flop but when you do, pick up yourself and get at it again!

Most importantly 👇

💥Have an Active and passive source of income:

To an active source of income, you channel you time, and resources frequently to ensure that it keeps running. Like your 9-5 job, it can only keep running as you work 9-5.

To a passive source of income, you only set up a working system and watch it generate money

You cannot be successful until you learn to generate money even while you sleep

It's safe to replace passive income with the term "side hustle"

You can do both cause a passive income source requires less time, energy and resources and most times pay more than the Active income source.

Online Businesses serve as a good fit for passive income source 100% of the time because you can look into it from anywhere and anytime of your choice.

If you implement all of these I have shared with you consistently for the next 3 months, there's no doubt you will see massive change in your Finance.

Just incase you are interested in building an Online Business,

As my new year bonus here on #Narialand , I will be hosting a FREE Business Class where I will be Exposing 1 profitable Online Business that can generate you 6 -7 figures weekly/monthly that Online Entrepreneurs will never tell you!

50 slots left.

This is my little way of giving 🙌
