Culture / Re: African Americans Lack Values And Culture by FowardEast(f): 11:41pm On Aug 13, 2009
girl22:

in the late 1500 the first africans were brought to america as indentured servants. by the 1600 it was turned into chattel slavery.

gospel music was formed by the african slaves by way of communicaton, then came blues, zydeco, cajun.
blacks in harlem stated the harlem rennasiance which gave birth to jazz, beebop ect.

despite the hardships of black americans they still managed to producs inventors that have invented carbon filament , light switch (edison did not invent shit), blood olasma machines, curling irons, electronic control devices ect.

due to racism blacks formed their own colleges and universities in which some of them outperformed ivy league schools in certain academic areas. there have been more black inventors/scientist from black schools than iny leagues.

values and culture. black americans have the same values as whites. hip hop does not define black americans. we have neo soul, r and b, jazz, house music, electronica, techno ect.

culture? where does the world get their modern music from? the hair do's people wear where did you get it from? the slang you use? the way you dress? the modern day dance moves people do.

black americans invented modern day culture to say the least. we do know our history and culture.

so stay out of black americans business

Yet don't own anything. And why should I stay ot?

Ewo, is this what has been going on on this thread? See a damned person calling an oppressed people cursed! May the soles of the millions of Africans in the bottom of the Atlantic have mercy on you.

Mercy on me? They only thing they would do is reveal further truth. I'll say it again. BLACK AFRICANS ARE OPPRESSED, BLACK AMERICANS ARE CURSED.

Family / Re: Effects Of Early Marriage by FowardEast(f): 10:16pm On Aug 12, 2009
"Sacrifice for women, is the realisation that no matter how strong-willed you are, your husband is the head of the home and should be accorded that respect.

Sacrifice for men, is the realisation that head of the home is not synonymous with dictator.

Sacrifice for women, is the realisation that ALL men are born with egos and when you try to compete with a man’s ego, the marriage is the sufferer.

Sacrifice for men is the realisation that her being married to you is a choice she made and it’s your duty to make sure she does not ever regret making that choice.

Sacrifice for women is the realisation that you cannot understand a man’s ego because you were not created to understand it.

Sacrifice for men is the realisation that women were created to be loved, not understood."

I 2nd that.

I am afraid, my sister, that you have quite a lot of reading and research to catch up on. The line of thinking that you still indulge in, is now so very very obsolete. The Hamitic theory and the rest of that crap was the Europeans attempt to justify their own savagery!

And I can bet the readings I need to catch up on are the same ones europeans wrote or had a hand in making. Right? I mean sure euro's are savage but alot others are too. Everyday is learning. Can you suggest something?

The atlantic slave trade is in the bible. So being Igbo or whatever doesnt really matter. I mean the people who left on those ships, especially AA's, were cursed by the most high.
