Business / Top 10 Profitable Skills To Acquire That Can Sustain You Without A Job After Sch by frankbin2000(m): 12:03pm On Jan 20, 2017
According to recent statistics released by the National Bureau of Statistics, In 3rd quarter of 2016, the labour force population (i.e those within the working age population willing, able and actively looking for work) increased to 80.67 million from 79.9 million in second quarter. The report stated that the number of unemployed persons increased by 555,311. This statistics grew even further by last quarter of 2016 as lots of organization packed up while other cut jobs.

All these notwithstanding, the country produces not less than 1.8 million graduates every year, who is willing to employ them and how many can they employ?

These questions and statistics have prompted this write up; have you asked yourself, what are your chances of getting a job immediately after school? These days, the aspect of job satisfaction is no longer an issue, many will say, let’s get any job first.

Instead of thinking of who will employ you after school or how long it might take to land any job, I think you should consider acquiring a skill.

Skill acquisition is the best thing that can happen to an undergraduate before graduation in this current dispensation. The skill acquired could vary according to your interest but it can go a long way to sustaining you and your family after school.

But before listing these top profitable skills, some of you may ask why should I acquire a skill when I am reading a professional course like Medicine, Engineering, Pharmacy, Accountancy or even Law, well, I want you to do a little survey within your neighbourhood or social media friends, ask whom among them read the above mentioned courses, when they graduated, how many of them are currently employed, what kind of job are they employed in and how much they earn.

Many after graduation end up doing nothing or working with a law firm where they are paid 30k per month and same with medical doctors working with private clinics.

Another reason you need to acquire these skills is that, with the knowledge, you need little to no fund to startup So, the case of looking for funding will not arise until you have established yourself, made a name and seeking to expand. With acquired skills, you can only be providing solutions or solving people’s problems. Are you with me? Now let’s get to business.

Top 10 Profitable Skills to acquire that can sustain you without a job after school:

1 Fashion Design

The fashion industry does not know the meaning of recession. This industry grows yearly and as well the profit margins. If you are creative and the trendy type, you will make it in this industry. Also, in Africa, we are good at organizing/attending occasions in uniform and there is no week in Nigeria that people are not celebrating or mourning. When you are good at designing or sewing, you will be overwhelmed with job orders. A friend once said that if you can survive the disappointment of a Nigerian tailor, you can survive any disappointment. What this implies is that they hardly keep up with delivery date; this could be out of too much job order or just another lazy tailor (many of them are). So if you are good, creative and keep up with the latest design in vogue as well as keep to time, then this industry is definitely a go for you.

2 Makeup/Manicure/Pedicure

This is another industry that is profitable and does not require a degree to startup. All you need is acquire the skills, be good with colour and know how to pamper your customers and I bet you will never lack money if you are good at it. Many students, male and female alike are already in this niche. On a weekly basis, most females, professionals and students wear new nails. They pamper their face to look good especially during ceremonies. It is worthy to note that males in this industry make it faster than there female counterpart if they know the skill very well, want to know the reason? Male touch up is definitely irresistible to most female clients whom love to be pampered at all times.

3 Hair Dressing/Barbing

Looking good is good business that every individual loves. Men always cut their hair to look smart and tidy, while the women folks dress their hair to look gorgeous. Many individuals cut/dress their hair on a weekly basis. If you can learn how to cut or dress men or ladies hair respectively, you can earn a steady income for yourself. This remains one of the most profitable and lucrative business that also does not require huge capital depending on how you want to start and location. I have an idea for people that wish to venture into this business. Because of the viability of the business, almost every street corner has a hair dressing salon or barbing shop. Once you acquire this skill, try to engage your customers in conversation while cutting their hair, this has been proven to bring repeat customers. Also location matters, you should look for a corner without a barber’s shop to set up yours or looking for developing areas to start.

4 Photography

During my days in higher institution, I was not the picture type but every day I pass the picture stands, the traffic flow remains intimidating. People loves keeping memories and the best way to do this is through picture documenting. Go to ceremonies, eateries, school and even funerals, etc photographers abound, both invited and uninvited. To get ahead in the photography business, you need to understand the art of digital photography, be creative, canvass your clients work and give them great designs that will keep them coming back to you or referring you to their family and friends. Some photo studios will also engage you to just take pictures and get paid. Also be up to date with new technologies to spice up your work and keep you ahead of your game. Contact BlueMoon Photography on how to learn the skill of Photography.

Celebrities / 8 Inspirational Lyrics From Innocent Idibia (2baba) by frankbin2000(m): 2:16pm On Dec 12, 2016
From his oldies to his current classics, 2Baba has never failed to inspire and impress his fans with beautiful music. As my best Nigerian artist, I not only enjoy his songs but try to read and understand the message behind every song from the artist.

2Baba has seen the bad and good side of life, some of his lyrics attest to this. There is no better inspiration than that which comes from life experience.

From different scandals and mockery to fame. Many artists just wish to be 2Baba, others idolize him and today, I will be sharing some of the best inspirational lyrics from some of 2Baba’s songs.

Below are 8 Inspirational Lyrics from Innocent Idibia (2Baba) compiled to inspire and motivate my fellow total entrepreneurs.

Dance In The Rain

If you believe, you can fly
Then why don’t you try instead of doubting yourself
Living in negative vibes

Take a deep breath and then come alive
There might be so many things you’re missing out of
Try to know it, try to feel it yeah
It’s your life yeah, try to live it yeah

Not A Surprise

You want to make it so bad this year
You’ve got to work very hard this year
And if you try and you fail
Just pick up yourself and try
Again again again

The Best I Can Be

I try to be the best that I can be
No need to force it
I try to understand the best I can
No need to force it.

Oya Come Make We Go

I know people keep on telling me,
There is nothing like a miracle,
If you try,
In this circle of life,
But i am an example,
I know that you can make it in this life
If only you try
Stand up and beat up your chest
Don’t let nobody tell you make you settle for less

For some of us who are not really into startups and do not know what is meant by seedfunding...READ THIS:

[b]What Are Seed Investment Funding Options For Startups In Nigeria?

Seed investment funding or seed money, sometimes known as seed funding is the money needed or used to set up a new business.Ok, now you have a million dollar idea, you have written a very detailed and comprehensive business plan, you are so excited that you can hardly wait to see your business grow and become successful. Suddenly, you are hit with the hard reality of very little or no capital at all.

Seed Investment Funding Getting funds or capital for your startup is an essential factor for its launch. Even though many entrepreneurs, investors and business owners may argue that money is not the most important thing for a startup, its importance cannot be over-emphasized because you’ll need it to run a successful business.

According to statistics showing various seed money options by Businessideaslab.com:

Personal Funds (Personal credit) – 34.9%
Friends and family – 11.29%
Venture Capital – 4.14%
Angel Investors – 3.76%
Banks – 2.63%
Crowd Funding – 0.96%

From the statistics above, you have seen that the highest percentage of seed money is from personal funding and second to family and friends. Hence, I will be writing about seed investment funding for startups in Nigeria except friends and family.

1. Grants:

Grant is an amount of money given to an individual or business for a specific project (startup). Grants could come from the government, international organizations or NGOs. Getting a grant to fund your startup is not always an easy task but with thoughtful strategies you could get it easily and quickly.

There are many grants in Nigeria, below are few of them:

Youth Employment in Agriculture Program (YEAP)
Grofin.com
The Ford Foundation
Shell LiveWIRE Nigeria
African Entrepreneurship Program (AEP)
Africa Innovation Award (AIA)

2. Crowd Funding:

According to Wikipedia, it is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, typically from the internet.
In a clear and simple term by Fundable.com, Crowdfunding is a way of raising finance by asking a large number of people each for a small amount of money.
In Nigeria many people are not familiar with the term. Even some bankers and finance personnel do not understand crowdfunding. Despite the challenges facing crowdfunding in Africa (Nigeria) like trust and lack of understanding of the relatively new concept of crowdfunding, there are crowdfunding platforms focusing on African Startup.

We have:

JumpstartAfrica
Akabbo.ug
FundaSolva
PushandStart
StartCrunch
NigeriaCrowdfunding
CFundin

3. Business Plan Competition:

Many organizations offer business plan competitions and award to encourage and help entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas to grow their startup or growing business. Some of these organizations are:

Anzishaprize.org
IsDB Business Plan Competition
Development Innovation Ventures
BID Network
Argidius-ANDE Finance Challenge (AAFC)
Business Plan Competitions (BPC)
African Diaspora Marketplace
The African Innovative Prize
Ernst & Young
Innovation Prize for Africa (IPA)

Get more details about these business plan competitions at AfterSchoolAfrica.com

4. Strategic Investors:

Strategic Investors can be companies or individuals who invest in startups to either solve a problem they currently face or to expand into a new market. Large corporations, such as State Street, IBM, Intel and Lucent have venture arms that invest in startups (according to Forbes).

This may not be easy for an average entrepreneur in Nigeria to come by but then you can always try it out and if it doesn’t help your startup, quit.

5. Co-Founders:

It is wise to find a cofounder who has complementary capabilities based on the business model you want to implement. That way, your startup would be more self-sufficient and that means you wouldn’t spend so much because you’ll be hiring very few people.

6. Angel Investor:

This does not mean angel from heaven who invests in business.

According to MyTopBusinessIdeas.com:

“An Angel Investor (or angel) is a high net-worth individual who typically invests in and supports startup companies (brand new ideas by existing companies in their early stage of growth, with the aim of achieving higher returns than the typical public markets provide”.

Many entrepreneurs agree with the fact that angel investing is one of the best strategies for raising equity capital because of its flexibility in deal structuring and financial decisions but as a Nigerian entrepreneur you may be unable to locate angel investors in the country. So you can also look out for foreign angels who are interested in investing in Nigeria.

Notable Investment Firms in the US are:

New York Angels Inc, New York City
Ohio Tech Angel Funds, Columbus, Ohio
Hyde Park Angel Network, Chicago
Golden Seeds LLC, New York City

Notable Angel Investment Firms in Africa

TBL Mirror Fund
eVA Fund
West African Synergies
Africa Media Ventures Fund
Jacana Partners
Angel Investment Network
Fanisi Capital
Adlero Capital
Invenfin Venture Capital
East Africa Capital Fund Partners (EACFP)

(As seen in AnswersAfrica.com)

7. Venture Capitals:

Also known as Venture Capital Firms, Venture Capitalists or VCs. This is made up of Companies of many investors who are willing to fund high risk, high potential startups in return for a certain Percentage of shares in the company.

Honestly, getting funds from VCs is usually very tough because they are seasoned investors that know the intricacies of startup, investing and running businesses who want nothing less than result or ROI. If you think you’ve got a good business idea that can stand the scrutiny of Venture Capitalists, go for it and don’t look back.

Notable Venture Capital Firms in Nigeria according to MyTopBusinessIdeas.com

Vetiva Capital
Solid Rock Securities and Investment Limited, Lagos
New Devco Investment and Securities Limited, Lagos
Riggs Ventures West Africa Limited, Lagos
Best Future Integrate Investment Limited, Lagos
Profound Securities Limited, Lagos
Osprey Investments Nigeria Limited, Abuja
Webar Limited, Abuja
Disok International Limited, Kaduna

You may try all this options and fail but that doesn’t mean you have the worst business idea on earth. The world is full of great ideas already but only short of great business men. You know there’s always a way out of every tough situation and you can’t afford to give up now.

If you try all these options mentioned above and fail, there are other creative ways to raise money for your startup such as, starting on a very small scale that you can afford to fund, you can start making money from day one of your business or get a temporary job to fund your startup.ICT IS THE IN-THING NOW BUT FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN LOVE WITH VOCATIONS AND CRAFTS,I IMPLORE THEM TO THINK ABOUT PACKAGING...If you don't know how to package your biz, come to this thread and let everybody know your problem and God would do wonders in our lives... I was offered admission for my post graduate studies this year.

I notice most students complaining about the ill way they are being maltreated by NOUN officials and how they feel the former vc is not interested in the activities of NOUN but encouraging sharp practices in conjunction with study center coordinators.

Also, you pay for course materials but never gets them or get either one or two and if you ask for the rest, you are advised to go online and print with your own money again. A product you already paid for.

Yet, I wonder why no one has ever sued this guys for this daylight robbery.

Students script are always missing and it's like a normal they say.

The officers are so lackadaisical when it comes to doing there job. It's as if they're working in one federal ministry and do not take there job seriously.

Mistakes in TMA questions noticed by students and messages sent to the course coordinators never gets a reply. (I experienced this myself)

It's as if NOUN is another avenue for looting. (TSA already checking this anyways)

One problem Nigerians have is that we talk and complain too much. I think it's high time we start heading to a competent court to seek redress and address these abnormalities.

I suggest we imbibe the culture of suing our universities or its official if we feel cheated, that way, they will sit up.

Who wants to loose his/her job in this hard time?

I'm getting ready for them as they will refund me for any course material paid for but not given.

Business / 10 Startup Lessons For Young Entrepreneurs by frankbin2000(m): 10:59am On Jan 29, 2016
Starting a new business has never been easy. In my early twenties, I tried venturing into a lot of businesses as I have always loved to own my own successful business. I tried a couple of businesses and failed in most with little success in some during a space of four years.

I was lucky as I was not indebted to anybody. That gave me peace of mind and also made me want to reconsider being an entrepreneur. But on the other hand, I had to check myself if I had done it right, I had to go back to ask questions both to me and some relevant authorities in the industry.

First, I asked myself one big question; WHAT DO I REALLY WANT?

Jumping from one business to another can never make you successful. It is said that “Jack of all trade is master of none”

I will be listing some lessons I learnt after examining myself and also from some successful entrepreneurs like Robert Kiyosaki, Richard Branson and Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson Group of Companies.

10 Startup Lessons for Young Entrepreneurs. (9 and 10 most important if you must succeed in your business)

1. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT

If you are a “Jack of all trades” you will find it difficult being a master in one business. You need to concentrate on building and promoting a business. Do not start a business because you heard it bring high returns, venture into a business you love and have background information on, study the business carefully, build an energy around the business, acquire more skill on the business, apply your own ideas, bring in experts that will help you grow the business. No life ever grows great until it is focused.
Here are some questions you must ask yourself before starting: What do I want? What must I do to have it? Where can I get the necessary skill? How would I feel when I have it?

The more you know what you want, the less you lose focus.

2. DON’T EXPECT TO START PERFECTLY

Procrastination is the killer of dreams. Do not expect to have enough money or investors before you can start that new business. You can start very little, what matters is your dream for the business. You can only stop growing when you stop dreaming higher. Do not be content with where you are per time, always aim for the top while you gradually take the steps.

Do not despise the days of small beginning.

3. HAVE YOUR CUSTOMERS AT THE BACK OF YOUR MIND

Every business is set up not for the owner but for the people. Whatever business you plan to venture into, have your intending customer’s interest at the back of your mind. If your service/product is good, you will have not only return customers but referral customers too. Your satisfied customers will be part of your media team. LOL. Funny but it’s the truth. But in the reverse case, you can only see a dissatisfied customer once. If possible, when starting that business, conduct a survey on what the people want.

“A bad product can only be sold to a wise unsuspecting customer once”

4. INTEGRITY MATTERS

Integrity is regarded by many people as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one’s actions. It is the concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, and morals. You must be truthful and upright when dealing with your subordinates, customers and investors. This act of honesty can help sustain your business even after you are gone. Don’t create barriers that can stop your journey to success by being greedy.

“Integrity is needed by every man to excel. If one is not upright with a given skill, that skill will not only be killed but have the capacity to kill the bearer”

Special Bonus: Principles of Financial Prosperity

5. SUCCESS IS A GRADUAL PROCESS

If you want to stay on top, climb, if you want to fall from the top, jump. You must do what is required to acquire what is desired. Do not rush success. It takes the demands of discipline and diligent to be successful. Take your success journey one day at a time, be focused on your defined goal and be determined to attain your goal and you will definitely get there. Stop jumping up, just grow up. No one ever arrived at a future that he has not seen.

“On your way to success, if you don’t suffer the pains of discipline, you will suffer the pain of defeat”

Politics / NASS Approves Life Pension For President, Vice, Others In New Consititution. by frankbin2000(m): 10:57am On Feb 19, 2015
ABUJA—THE National Assembly, yesterday, completed the amendment of the 1999 Constitution with approval of life pension for anybody who has held office as President or Vice President, Senate President or Deputy Senate President, Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.

But beneficiaries of this gesture must be occupants who successfully concluded their terms in office without removal or impeachment.

The amended constitution, which was presented as motion, to the floor of the Senate by the Chairman, Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, for onward transmission to the president for assent, also made it mandatory for the president to appear once a year before the joint sitting of the National Assembly to deliver an address in respect of the state of the nation.

But the president, in the expected constitution, loses the power to solely assent to bills passed by the National Assembly. The same applies to state governors.

The amended Clause read: “Any person who has held office as President or Deputy President of the Senate, Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, shall be entitled to pension for life at a rate equivalent to the annual salary of the incumbent President or Deputy President of the Senate, Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, provided that such a person was not removed from office by the process of impeachment or for breach of any of the provisions of this Constitution.

“The president shall attend a joint meeting of the National Assembly once a year to deliver an address in respect of the state of the nation. He may attend any joint meeting of the National Assembly, either to deliver an address on national affairs including fiscal measures, or to make such statement on the policy of government as he considers to be of national importance.”

Business / 10 Causes Of Business Failure By The Total Entrepreneur by frankbin2000(m): 1:32am On Sep 25, 2014
Do you want to start a business but afraid of business failure? I will be putting you through on the main causes of the many business failures and how you can avoid them.

Any entrepreneur starting a business venture has PROFIT in the back of their mind. Owning a business can be rewarding and at the same time very risky. There are certain factors that can cause business failure but lack of proper research for profitable market before venturing is one of the main cause of business failure.

YES, you can be passionate about something or a particular type of business but have you asked yourself if the business will be profitable in your location.

As it is, there is no business that is not profitable, but if your business is not located at a place that the product/market is required, it will not sell or be profitable.

Passion is a key for success in business but it cannot guarantee profitability. If you are passionate about something but cannot monetize it, and yet you venture into it, then you are more of a social entrepreneur who might be providing a service for no or minimal reward.

It is pertinent that you do a thorough research, consult before you venture into any business. Nobody wants a failed business. The pride of every entrepreneur is to see his/her business growing and making steady profit.

Some entrepreneurs have started businesses but because of some certain factors, the business becomes a failure after a short while. I will be discussing some underlying causes of business failure with you.

Outline of Causes of Business Failure

1. Not Seeking Professional Advice
2. Lack of Good Customer Care
3. Copying Others
4. Lack of Experience
5. Unaccountability
6. Lack of Personal Growth
7. Poor Location
8. Lack of Focus
9. Wrong Expectation
10. Quitting Too Soon

1. NOT SEEKING PROFESSIONAL ADVICE

No matter how informed you feel you are, once you want to startup a new line of business, it is pertinent that you seek professional advice. This will help you ascertain whether or not the business is profitable as you thought. Most times, entrepreneurs start up a business because they find others doing the business and profiting. Yes, they might be profiting from the same business but there might be a secret behind the success. It might be location, good customer service, knowing the right source to get raw materials etc.

It is good you have a mentor that will always put you through to avoid silly mistakes. Another advantage of seeking professional advice is that, you are meeting people that have already done the business and they have made the mistakes and known the best way of doing it.

The likes of Bill Gates and Sir Richard Branson have Warren Buffet and Sir Freddie Laker respectively as their mentors. If they had advisers, why can’t you?

One of the best pieces of advice I can give to anyone in business is never stop learning, read and learn about marketing not just about your industry but how other industries buy and sell products and service and how you can do things even better.

Avoid Negative People

2. LACK OF GOOD CUSTOMER CARE

It is very important that you make your customer care a priority. A business with good customer care grows. Good customer care brings return customer and return customers bring referral customers. If you do not treat your customer well, they go to your competitors. Learn to show your customers that you appreciate them. Always ask them questions about the product and offer them some percentage when they give your product a review (either positive or negative review). If you are not close to your customers, if you treat them like every other seller, they will only come when there is no other option. Bad customer care has killed a lot of businesses.

Your Customer Care Unit Defines Your Brand

3. COPYING OTHERS

What worked for Mr. Francis must not work for Mr. Reader. Many people have gone into business or made a business choice because they see others doing it and think they can be successful in it if they try. It is good you add your own idea after proper consultation, that will distinct you from others. Copying without consultation leads to dead end.

Do Not Copy, Initiate

4. LACK OF EXPERIENCE

Lack of experience is one of the causes of business failure. If you are inexperienced or your management is made up of novices, then your business is as good as dead. When starting a new business, it is advised you get the services of people experienced in that field. They can be your partners or you employee. Get experienced marketers and well trained customer service personnels.

Experience Count

5. UNACCOUNTABILITY

You must be accountable for any dime your business makes. Most times, many entrepreneurs could not account for their daily sales. Once there is a sale, they spend the money on personal needs believing...

Health / 20 Quick Ways To Greater Confidence by frankbin2000(m): 8:28am On Jul 01, 2014
1. Think about someone who is confident and act, talk and walk like him or her. Model their mannerisms and behaviour. It works for them; it will work for you.

2. Smile a lot more. That doesn’t mean putting a silly grin on your face! But smile when you walk down the street, when you meet people and generally be happier even if you’re not feeling that way.

3. Learn from the past; don’t beat yourself up about it. It’s gone; it’s never coming back. Instead learn from it for next time.

4. Buy yourself some new clothes, get your hair done, treat yourself to something new. It will make you feel better and will give your ego a boost.

5. Are you prepared for situations? Are you prepared enough to meet any challenge that may come up? Are you prepared for that meeting, that presentation, that job interview, when you meet someone for the first time? If not, get to it.

6. Play to your strengths. Know what you are good at and expose yourself to these opportunities at every opportunity – because you’re good at it, you’ll enjoy it and have more confidence.

7. Improve your weaknesses. Know and appreciate what these are and put a plan in place to improve them over time.

8. Learn how to say no to people. Don’t be afraid, you’ve got nothing to be afraid of. Just watch the reaction on their face after you’ve said it the first time and there will be no going back.

9. Be positive. Look on the “can do” side of things rather than the “can’t do”. You’ve accomplished lots in your life and you will accomplish lots more in the future.

10. Be in charge of your thoughts at all times. What is a thought? It’s just a question that you’ve asked yourself and the thought is you’re answer. If you’re thinking negative thoughts, you’re probably asking a negative question. Change the questions to be more positive.

11. Whenever you feel a negative thought coming, STOP, THINK, and say is this really important in the grand scheme of things. A lot of the time it isn’t. Many people in life major in minor things!

12. Do you let the words of others affect you? Do you mind what they think of you? Remember that no one can make you feel inferior without your consent. It’s not what they say to you that’s the problem it’s what you say to yourself after they have stopped talking that’s the problem. Change the way you think.

13. List the words that you use on a consistent basis when you feel let down or annoyed. People use different words to mean the same thing and depending upon the intensity of the word – this will have an effect on your confidence. Instead of saying “I’m enraged about this” say, “I’m a little annoyed”. Make a substitute list for the words that you use. Make sure they are lower in intensity and then use them. You’ll be surprised with the results.

14. At the end of each day list your achievements and successes throughout that day.

15. Be appreciative of what you have to be thankful for in your life right now. Who do you love? Who loves you? Who do you help out?

16. Every morning when you’re in the shower, play over in your head the events in the day as though they have already happened and they were a success. Visualize all of the meetings that you had, the people you talked to, the outcomes you had. Visualize success and confidence and it will be so.

17. Improve your body language. The way that you move your body has a massive impact on your confidence levels. Move your body assertively and walk with your head up, shoulders back and as though you’ve got somewhere very important to go. Feeling low in confidence? Change you body language

18. Emotion is created by motion. As in 17, make sure you move around consistently. This creates energy and gets the blood pumping around you body – it makes you feel better and more confident.

19. Learn to brag about yourself. Yes, you heard me! Talk about your achievements and successes more than you currently are.

20. And finally – You only live once, so any time that you are down just ask yourself in 10 or 20 years time – will what I am worrying about really matter?

Career / Why You Should Take Risks by frankbin2000(m): 5:41am On Jul 01, 2014
It does not matter if you are a Doctor, a Lawyer or an infantry soldier in the Army if you want to be the best and get ahead, you will need to take risks.

A doctor may have to take risks when working with a patient. The Doctor may have to experiment with different forms of medications or new surgical procedures when all else has failed in an attempt to help the patient.

A lawyer may have to argue a case in an unorthodox manner to win the case, but if the lawyer wants to become the top lawyer and make millions of dollars fighting high profile cases lots of risks have to be taken.

A soldier may have to take a risk and run thru gunfire to save another injured soldier, to complete their mission, or just to secure an area from being overrun by enemy troops, after going days with little to no sleep, but if a soldier wants to get promotions and eventually lead men into battle they also need to take risks.

The same can be said about life in general. No one gets ahead in life from playing it safe. You will not meet your special someone if you are too afraid to risk getting rejected by someone, you will never get that big promotion unless you take risks at your job.

It is very important to continue to take risks in life. To stop taking risks means to stand still in life. Standing still in life is one of the main causes of depression. These are usually the people afraid to confront the boss and tell him that they demand a raise; they are the ones that allow life to pass them by out of fear. The entire purpose of fear is to stop you from taking a risk.

Fear is nothing more then the unknown. If you have always wanted to quit your job and open a shop but you are too afraid to do it, this is because you are afraid of failing and risking what you already have.

It is important to learn to take risks in life if you want to be happy, you may not always get the things you risked for, but you will know that you tried, and in the end it does not matter in my opinion if you succeed or not it is how many risks you try to make that is the real test of how successful you are.

Just remember if no one took risks we would be a world without flight and probably no automotive vehicles at all, maybe we would have no electricity. So risk truly is needed to improve the world.

Health / An Introduction To Acne Problems by frankbin2000(m): 4:55am On Jul 01, 2014
Acne is the most common skin disorder with over 10% of people aged 25 – 44 suffering from acne at some point, and over 85% of people aged 12 – 25 experiencing acne at some time.

Importantly, acne can become infected if ignored, creating scars, and pockmarks that become permanent blemishes on your face. I don’t want this to happen to you, so I’ve detailed some excellent treatments on the website below…

Acne is a disease called seborrhea or seborrheic dermatitis. Acne occurs when the sebaceous glands, under your skin, become contaminated with either of the following:

• Dirt
• Dead skin
• Excess sebum oil
• Acid waste
• Bacteria
• Toxic matter

Under normal circumstances, the sebaceous glands release oil that is excreted through your pores onto the skin surface. This release of oil helps to keep your skin moist and lubricated, protecting your skin from the environment.

If the pores on your face are blocked, this creates toxic oil that cannot be excreted from your skin. This results in inflammation, a pimple or a spot, as the more toxic oil tries to reach the surface of your skin.

If the pore walls burst under the skin, white blood cells move in to digest the collagen around the pores. And this happens; scars can be caused on your face.

To avoid scars, an acne-cleansing program is recommended, and this should begin before you get acne or as soon as acne appears. You must prevent your pimples and blackheads getting to the point where they get severely infected and burst.

Acne is an extremely complex condition, involving many parts of the body, usually only appearing on the face and elsewhere on your skin. Acne is a sign that you have problems elsewhere within your body and can be caused by a toxic colon, poor digestion of food, weak liver and other conditions that cause the blood to carry too much toxicity.

To clear acne, it is not always possible to try one treatment and expect the acne problem to be solved. However, it may be possible to use a special cream and have your acne diminish or clear within days – it depends on the type of acne and the severity of your acne as to which acne treatments will work best for you.
Career / How To Discover Your Purpose by frankbin2000(m): 4:45am On Jul 01, 2014
What is Purpose?

Simply put, PURPOSE is leaving with an assignment, leaving to achieve a goal, feeling of determination to achieve things in life, having a plan and working towards achieving such a plan. Leaving without an assignment is leaving without a goal. When one do not know the purpose by which one is created abuse is inevitable. Lack of identification of purpose is killing many, reducing them to just a MATTER on earth.

Every man is obligated to determine his purpose on earth. God has already destined you for something; it is now left for you to determine your destiny. He did not create you to increase population.

“If a man has not found something worth dying for, such a man is not fit to live
” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

God gave you brain so you can give Him rest. He also gave you head so you can think ahead.

I will be putting you through on HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE, THE PURPOSE SYSTEM AND VIRTUES OF PURPOSE as thought by a powerful mentor of mine. It will be as brief as possible; all you have to do is read in between the line and apply accordingly.

DISCOVERING YOUR PURPOSE

1. For you to discover your purpose, you need to first of all GET AT GOD who is your maker. God created you for a purpose and He alone knows that purpose. You need to ask Him to reveal this purpose to you. You can ask Him through prayer and fasting. Then you should bring out time to meditate and listen so you can hear Him. He can reveal your purpose in life through any means that best suit Him, so all you need to do is meditate and concentrate.

2. What is your MAKE UP? Everybody has a gift or talent. You need to ask/check yourself and know that thing you love doing. Things that family or friends do not force you to do. Things you do voluntarily. Those things you are willing to skip other things for notwithstanding the consequences. Sometimes in some peoples live, they have skipped classes because of these personal passions. This is what you need to discover yourself. I do not need to list people in this category as they are so famous everyone knows them.

3. YOUR CHOICE: What are your choices in life? For example, when you are giving options to choose between carriers; a pay job or business, which will you prefer not minding the benefits? If you are to write or counsel, play or coach, which will you prefer? Your choice channel also matters in identifying your purpose.

PURPOSE SYSTEM

For one to know what one is made of or where one is going, one must note these;

PLANNING: You must plan.
