thank God there’s shelter over you. That’s very paramount. Try and task yourself and involve yourself into trainings in one way or the other. There are some trainings that are free, just involve yourself in this trainings and you will be glad for embracing it.
Definitely. I'm skilled in many things, maybe not on a professional level but with time I'll be perfect

let me advise you more in order for you to raise your head high. See try to learn skills online on YouTube. You can even be a content creator by discovering yourself in all manner of topics in life. Maybe this hard times you are battling with is for you to discover your self, talent and gifts God has for you. Complaining from today till tomorrow till next year won’t solve issues

Shebi man go first see front first before he execute his plans, lol.

haaa that’s where the problem comes from. Build your social media life joor. Even kids of 4 upwards are now been exposed to media spaces, most of them have their media pages via their parents by seeking their futures already. Build your network via valuable people. See don’t join them complaining . Till Jesus come, Things won’t be fine, it’s you and me that will make things fine for ourselves. Just build yourself.
Not like I do not have friends par se, but my mind has been so centered on my breaking free from all these wahala

You mean you believe the hype that Nigeria is a rich country? SMH

You think anyone would hire you once you step into a random construction site? dey play.

Go and learn a skill or trade. the earlier you do so the better.

We're talking about a manual labourer job here.
Thing is, Nigeria is much richer than you can imagine. It's easy to think there's no money here because of how bad the leaders have made the country

Waking up so early this morning, I freshened up and went out to see if I'd be lucky with any menial jobs. I couldn't bear to stay another day at home without feeding, maybe I'd be lucky today. I got to the first building site but I was told they have had enough workers. Calmly,I proceeded to find another one but it was still the same story. I trekked for what seemed like a lifetime until my legs started vibrating. I broke down in tears. Like why?
Why would a child of nobody be allowed to suffer in a rich country like ours? Why would those in power be this callous on the masses because of greed? You see, many of us are ready to work but the circumstances around us will not let us find even the most menial job. Where I was still standing looking hungry and dejected,a man came around and begged me for just #200 to buy something to eat. I smiled and told him I had nothing on me. He left. "Only if he knew my condition", I thought aloud. People are suffering seriously.

If someone can just help me out with the least 1k to feed I'll seriously appreciate. I just hope to see miracles when I wake up

This is her new scheme.that woman is really instabled little wonder seun disqualified her as a mod even with her coolsat account.

I ignored you before because I don't like to respond to things like these but I wonder what pleasure you people derive in playing down things like these as if your lives depend on it. It's fine if you have your reservations in matters like this but please keep your opinions to yourself. I am not a woman and should not be regarded as one or linked to anyone

The issue here is that you are about loosing the basic foundation you need in education and career

Go and make up your mind to register for WAEC both private and external

Once you get your WAEC result, you can apply to join any of the forces, be it Police, Army and Navy or any other paramilitary jobs

Your parents don't have enough, then what efforts are you making to stand well as a man

Food is not all you need, so start managing feeding to get yourself registered

I wish I was even feeding very well then I'll agree with you that food is not all I need. It's quite easy for me to sacrifice my own feeding to save up for something that I want, but the thing is, I have younger ones who will always look up to me.

I know the importance of these basic certificates and that is why I am so pained because I don't have any. I follow up on all the recruitment, police, fire service, navy and the rest but there's almost nothing I can do about them considering my position. But I still believe firmly that everything will be fine.

How much is the WAEC registration?

It's between #45000 - #60,000 Sir depending on the school. Please I'm sorry for the late reply. I've not been online since then.

Education / Why Does The Levy For Exams Keep Skyrocketing Despite These Difficulties by Gas0line: 12:09pm On Jan 13
I've been out of secondary school some years back. My time in school has not been without challenges which involved trekking some unreasonable distance just to save the few naira in my hand , dropping out and restarting again and all these happened very consistently due to lack of money. I would like to see myself as above average in terms of academics but I have never had it any better. Three years after my supposed graduation,I am yet to sit for my SSCE which is to say I don't even have one of the most basic certificates. Tried sometimes to do some menial jobs for this purpose but the monies are mostly diverted to feeding. The Wassce registration will be ending soon and the thought of it makes me feel so despondent. I'll be 23 by may but I still have almost nothing to show for it yet the government is still trying to make things harder.
