donguutti: Technically,APGA has a case, going by the supreme court judgement, although rochas could pre empt that by not declaring for APC,until the elections draw near.APGA dreams...maybe you should consider other cases like Yuguda turning to PDP, Ohakim to PDP even Mbadinuju left PDP for ANPP and Senators crosscarpeting was also happening... |

Politics / Re: Okorocha, Catholic Doctors At War Over Abortion Law by herbdull(m): 11:19am On Aug 28, 2013 |
chukwudi44: Rochas had better be careful!!! If he decides to fight the catholic church which comprises about 70% of the states population he will be finised politically. He should not forget what happeded to Ohakim and how he got to power in the first place.Abortion is murder except when the pregnacy endangers the mother's life.Even if a child comes from rape he should be allowed to liveThis bill was passed in the state assembly and forworded to the the governor. If Imo state population is 70% catholic this bill should be dead in public hearing stage. Stop fussing! |
Education / Re: FG Breaks-Off ASUU Negotiation, To Introduce Student Loans by herbdull(m): 10:21pm On Aug 27, 2013 |
deor03:what i want the Federal government to do in logical order is this 1. Task NUC to carry out detailed study of the present universities, with a view to determining their worth in Naira andKobo 2. Privatize all the universities and mandate all the private buyers to have affilition , including staff & student rotation , with Top 50 universities in the world. The buyers should immediatetly upgrade the universities to world standard in terms of facilities, labs , building etc 3. Grant student loans to all the students, upon admission into the institutions, and continues to maintain this award based on student's satisfactory performance ( measured based on Attendance, behaviuor and grade) I gbadun this ur idea sha. One shld be able to pay over 20 yrs. 4. Consession reputble property companies to build world class accomodation with 24/7 power supply / high speed internet ( blocking all video sharing, Ph0nography , etc). Accomodation will be included in the loan With government awarding 1Million Naira per student for each academic year, these can be taken care off. For 4 year courses, it will cost the government 4M , for Engineering 5M and Medicine 7M Once students proceed on NYSC, the capital to be repaid should drop by N500,000. Student should pay back the loan to thegovernment over 20 years at an interest rate of 3% Max And when this schools are privitazised who regulates the school fees? 4m,5m or 7m to every student Hope you know polytechnic, monotechnics and colleges of educations students are also nigerian. Clueless post clueless govt |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Access Bank And It's Outrageous Recruitment Requirement by herbdull(m): 11:41pm On Aug 25, 2013 |
234GT: Very funny posts by people. I almost turned down a 2.5m per annum bank job last year because of negative and envy-driven posts by people. Thank God I am in the bank now and I am enjoying the job.taking loans as a banker is a strategic plan, it protects you from been sack. So most bankers tends to use such strategy to get tied to the bank. 2.5M guess you got appointed as the MD. 1 Like |

braveheart2012: I can go on and on about the scam-ridden industry that passes as a banking industry in Nigeria. I just feel sorry for these young people who never even get the opportunity to start real, genuine banking careers. I have friends and relatives with annual targets of N2-5 billion naira and trust me when I say they do NOTHING remotely related to banking all day but go from big man to big man to famz and look for deposits. It's just a bloody sham, the whole thing. Sanusi is a bloody fool. With his big shakara mouth, I had high hopes for him but he is even worse than the ones that came before him. I hear all he does well is sniff up line after line of white powder. Yes, I said it (don't act shocked because rich, male Northerners are the biggest coke heads in the country but that's another story for another day when I am in the mood to amuse myself on Nairaland). I know people in the inner circles of Nigerian power in Abuja and they love to gossip, especially when they are abroad and drinking beer. The entire country is a sordid mess.can you pls pocket your lies? Guess you parents are also benefiting from the loot! |

"We must be united. We must de-emphasise ethnicity, religion and tribe in APC. We must make sure that the choice of APC presidential candidate on integrity and not on where the person comes from. Let he that has the requisite attribute run this nation, irrespective of religion or place of origin.Let the leadership of our country emerge based on what they do to put food on the tables of Nigerians and not their ethnic or religion background"...Owelle Rochas |

Science/Technology / Re: Bringing LTE, And Fiber To Nigerians by herbdull(m): 6:55am On Aug 22, 2013 |
Fulaman198: My dream is for Nigeria to have network speeds that exceed 100 Mbps download/upload in many cities and even villages. I know I'm a traditionalist, but I feel that this would greatly help us in many ways. What are your thoughts? What about people having internet that fast in their homes?Unilorin just finished its fiber optics project and its coming close with such internet speed. Hope other academic area can just key into such investment. |
