Health / [women Only]the Number 1 Secret To Losing Weight Permanently by Ibeleme(f): 6:24pm On Feb 05, 2015
Hello

Most times i get questions from friend and family members about how i was able to lose 15kg in less than two weeks?

Was it exercising? (Nopes, far from it)

Was it dieting? (Making some changes in my diet really helped, but that was not the main thing)

Then what was it?

Alright my friend...here it is?

The major thing that helped me lose weight permanently and enjoy a healthy lifestyle was simply...

The Correct mindset

Shekena...na there e end o

No miracle drugs or pills

No back breaking exercises

And No nonsense diet plan filled with foods that are not available in Naija here

It was simple and easy...developing the right mindset

You see...when i decided to lose weight...i also noticed that most people that say they want to lose weight usually give up immediately

Imagine that o

They quit before they even see any results

When i heard this i knew that i was going to lose weight by fire or by force...

And to achieve this i needed to adopt the right mindset...

I did this by doing the following

1. Realizing that losing weight is not a sharp sharp something

It is not a situation whereby you expect to see results in 1 day...and if nothing happens you give up.

E nor dey walk like that

2. Realizing that it takes a lot of sacrifice and hard work in the initial stages to enjoy later in life

3. Knowing that eating healthy and changing my lifestyle (which i will tell you about later) is the key to permanent weight loss.

4. Knowing that this life na jeje..no need to rush

Taking it one day at a time is the best plan

When you start to rush, you put so much pressure on yourself and you finally end up quitting.

For now click the link below if you want to look beautiful and smart again by checking out my Free 7 Days Super Slim Down Coaching

Have a nice day

P.S Remember if you don't have the right mindset...then you are most definitely going to fail

Health / Are You Making These Weight Loss Mistakes? by Ibeleme(f): 11:57am On Nov 16, 2014
Simple mistakes may cause you to deviate from your weight loss track and take you further away from your goal.

Correcting some or all of these small mistakes can help get you closer to your weight loss goals.

Crash Diets

Crash diets are the norm for quick weight loss. You eat about 2000 calories a day on a regular basis and you cut back your calories to 1000 each day rapidly.

The weight starts dropping right way and it is also causing the body to go in a preservation mode. Your body is training itself to burn calories at a slower rate by lowering your metabolism.

Crash diets will help to you to attain the immediate goal or 5, 10 or 15 pounds. However, for long term weight loss and to keep off the lost weight you must plan your meals and make lifestyle changes.

Skipping meals

You may think that by skipping a meal, you can cut back on 300 to 600 calories. This should work in your favor when you trying to watch calorie intake; except for the fact that the body responds differently to long periods of fasting.

If you cannot stay consistent with meal times, your body goes in to the starvation mode and is inclined to store the calories than burn them. This may also cause muscle loss as the body tries to compensate for any protein deficiency.

When you skip a meal, you make up for it by consuming larger portions at the next meal.

To avoid this, consider 4 “fuelings”, rather than large meals. Eat small, balanced meals 4 times daily to maintain your metabolism and curb your hunger.

Grazing

Just as skipping a meal sabotages your weight loss plans, grazing also causes problems. Mindless eating or eating for emotional reasons can add calories to your diet very quickly.

Often times, you are not able to recall the portion sizes of the item you have grazed on. Eating when you work, watch TV or preoccupied can lead to grazing.

To attain your goals, schedule snack times and plan your snack so you are not caught in the trap of mindless eating.

Drinking your calories

A dieter’s downfall is in many cases drinking calories. Calories in drinks can add up very quickly. This is one mistake that can be easily rectified.

Take a look at all your drinks, read labels carefully and figure out how many calories they provides per serving.

Find an alternative, like artificially sweetened drinks or diet sodas or flavoring agents such as crystal lite. Water is usually the best drink, but be careful about vitamin waters. Just be sure that it is not providing you any calories.

Sedentary lifestyle

Sedentary lifestyle can lead to increased risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure. Exercise is necessary for an effective and healthy weight loss.

Exercise helps you maintain your metabolism even when you lower your calories. It also helps maintain your muscle mass. Exercise adds to daily calorie burn, thus balancing calorie intake and output.

Setting unrealistic goals

By setting unattainable goals, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.

Losing 30 pounds in one week is unrealistic. Losing 30 pounds in 6 months can be done. Instead of having one big goal, set smaller, multiple goals. For example, set a goal for each week or each month.

Week one – eliminate all caloric beverages; week two – start exercising, or lose 5 pounds in one month. Smaller, achievable goals will give you the boost for long term success and get you to your big goal.

So how do you ensure your weight loss?

Music Business / Re: Unbelievable! Cheapest Studio In Town by Ibeleme(f): 3:12pm On Jul 06, 2011
This post got me thinking and realized that a lot of us in Naija here cannot afford to go to a studio and get our music done. Imagine going to a studio and then you have to pay studio time, pay the producer, pay another studio time so that your work can be mixed and probably mastered. It is very costly. What happens if you make a mistake when dropping your vocal? You have to pay again just to correct that mistake.

After all said and done, you find out that you spend excess amount of money just to get one finished song, which you might not even be satisfied with.

The advantages of having your own personal studio are numerous. You can take all the time you need in the world and get that perfect song. You get to work anytime you are in the mood or “spirit”. There is no annoying producer or studio attendant telling you that your time is up. Endless advantages.

There are basic necessities that are need for your home studio. Thinking about it I came up with the following:
1. Computer
2. Recording Software
3. Audio Interface
4. Microphone(s)
5. Studio Monitors
6. Headphones
7. External/Dedicated Hard drive
8. Acoustic Treatment
9. Midi Controller
10. Cables
11. Power Conditioner
12. Accessories

I have a blog www.naijaaudioclass.com where i teach and explain each of these points in depth. Feel free to check it out
