Our society is sick. This, and a lot of other things have gone horribly wrong. No student can do well let alone excel in the learning environment depicted here. Each time a politician steals state funds, they deprive the society of some benefit. When we have everyone stealing, its a lot worse. We need to stand up and put an end to this cycle or we will have no country to leave fro our dear children.

I do not think the US plans to move here, from what i read , i think they just want to find out what went down in lagos, that the guy was able to enter the plane with a bomb.
Anyhow if you ask me, its the UK that need the invasion with the number of funny people that walk the street you would almost think you are in saudi or pakistan, i find it quite scary, its not like that in nigeria. I think london is a dangerous place to send impressionable young men and women.
That is where they are recruited not in nigeria.

@yaf1234 , sir it is not the fifth column keeping our dear president AWOL, the man is just ill, which happens to us mortal. When people are ill, they take sick leave, in his own case this may not be possible because of [1] the nature of his job, he is the president of a huge country ,which can not run on auto pilot for to long, because they are things to be sign etc. [2] the nature of his ailment is not going to give him that luxury.

Simply put Mr president is sick no matter how long his family and friends hide , the executive powers would eventually be given to the vice president,that is what the constitution says. The kind of armed robber salary they were all collecting,cannot be sustained.
Its either they take drastic pay cut or they would all loose their jobs.

Oga Prince i repeat i schooled in Nigeria all my life, actually went to jakande's chicken house school , and it wasn't that bad. We had tables and chair, teachers that spoke well. Took exams from there and passed.
Other countries moved on and we  just regressed . A lot of us left private schools to go to state run schools and we were fine. Nothing would make me send my child to a state run school today,
All i know is that judgment is coming to Nigeria, the guys who think keeping people illiterate is their way of  clinging to power [resources]  are going to find themselves in big trouble.
Those who make peaceful change impossible, make violent change inevitable.

The schools are bad everywhere , north , east, west , and south, and its going to get worst , cos those guys on the floor are going to be teachers tomorrow and guess what they will teach.

JSS 1 n 2 kids can't speak english , tell me how did they get into high school.

As it is now you can't find good staff, , everybody has 1st class, but can't speak proper english.
