I am sorry to say that YAR A'LIAR IS DEAD until he can otherwise appears on Nigerian TV and addres Nigerians including his whereabout for the last 38 days and his take on world events including a nigerian terrorist. And for the daft leader to tell me and other Nigerians that in his abscence for 38days who is our commander in chief, and where does AGF Idonkia has his authority from to say someone can be in hospital (in a coma) and give orders when his state of mind cannot be confirmed. It is either YAR A'FAILURE is mad or dead, either way, by operation of the law s.145 or 146 he is incapacitated, and unfit for the office. I have said it number without times that if God forbid we have a war declared against us, who will give orders to our troop since he has taken his authorty with him to Saudi Arabia. Nonsense we call sense. and it simply confirms what is called madness when someone start to behave irrational which is what Yar A'do nothing and his cronies are doing. The office of the Presidency is not his father's property, nor that of the Kaduna/kastina Mafia or Northern people. Whatever arrangement is betwen the PDP and his members are their problem, not authorised by the constitution of Nigeria. |

Hello to all nairalanders. I am from Germany and write since long article for an African magazine with the name "LoNam". Recently the publisher of the magazine asked me to write an article about Nigeria. Because I take up with pleasure political subjects, my article is called "Re-branding Nigeria ", Is it possible?, What must be done? A segment of this report is called "Real democracy means, " And it fits, I believe, quite well in this thread. But read yourself. "Real democracy means, A real democracy assumes the observance of the fundamental rights. The most important ones are:. *Protection of the human dignity *Free development of the personality, freedom of the person, right on life, right on physical intactnes *General personal right, right on informationelle self-determination (data security), guarantee of the confidentiality and integrity of technical information systems *Equality clause, equal rights *Religious freedom and freedom of conscience *Freedom of opinion, freedom of information, freedom of the press, as well as the freedom of the art and the science *Protection of marriage and family *Right of school choice, of granting and participation in the religious lessons, to the establishment of private school *Freedom of assembly *Union freedom *Inviolability of the flat or house *Property rights *Ban of deprivation of citizenship and delivery *Resistance right *Electoral law *Ban of extraordinary courts *Right of a legal judge *Claim to due process of law. Real democracy means „rule of the people“. All power and decision-making power lies only with the people. Real democracy is only possible if the people stand together in unity and realise that that it must take the responsibility in own hand because it is the real and true sovereign of the state alone. The governing and leading have to decide and to act exclusively to the cheers of their people. A true democracy assumes that the people each other recognise everybody as absolutely equivalent and realise that every person has to carry out his own assignments after the best forces in the service and to cheers all. Besides, the virtues of the manhood like true internal peace, respect for the life, tolerance, quality, patience, love and charity are extremely helpful. Hence, the way out can only be, to make room in the uppermost squads, in the politics as well as in the economy. To make room for fresh blood, for people with values and ideals, without old costs and cliques in the luggage, without nepotism and without liabilities to whom or whatever towards, except towards the Nigerian nation; people who still have dreams, dreams of a glorious Nigeria to cheers for all citizens. The way out can only be, a Nigerian nation which firmly stands together which meets itself with love, respect and tolerance, no matter of which disposition or religion and strives together to make Nigeria to that, what Nigeria should be. The most shiny star in the African sky and maybe even more. Sure is the mismanagement which has developed more than nearly 50 years there to remove not overnight, however, a good beginning for it are the coming elections. With a fair and open election campaign in the approach with which freedom of speech and freedom of the press of every singles are respected and protected, free and fair elections, and the recognition of the election result in democratic manner, Nigeria has the best possibilities for a change, in its own hands. Let us pray that the nation recognises this big chance and also uses it." |

Do you know how great Nigeria is? well let me tell you. I can walk up to anybody put a gun to the person's head pull the trigger, pay off the police, prosecutor and judge, pay oluwole boys to forge me a new name, pay off customs, get a new passport and move to another state to start a new life with no fear of the law catching up with me. Start a life of crime if i want to so long as i pay off the police and rent area boys for protection. Surround myself with sycophants, hire ovation to display my ill gotten wealth on tabloids, join a political party (preferably PDP), kill every one who stands in my way, contest election and be governor in 2 years from the time i murdered that fellow. Being president will be dicey since i'm not a malo. If that is not an example of the land of the free then i don't know what is. Freedom to do whatever i like. I want to hear anybody say it is not possible. If your president can sign budget from sickbed then anything is possible. |

Yar’Adua not with us - Saudi Hospital - Yar’Adua not answerable to NASS on acting president - Aondoakaa From Taiwo Adisa, Lanre Adewole and Dare Adekanmbi - 30.12.2009 THE ailing President Umaru Yar’Adua, who left Nigeria 37 days ago for medical attention in Saudi Arabia, was never admitted to King Faisal Hospital at all as believed by Nigerians, the Nigerian Tribune can report authoritatively. Investigations conducted by the Nigerian Tribune on Tuesday revealed that the president was not in either of the two branches of King Faisal Hospital in Riyadh and Jeddah. Few days after the president left the country, presidential spokesperson, Mr. Olusegun Adeniyi, addressed a press conference, where he told Nigerians that President Yar’Adua had been taken to Saudi Arabia for confirmatory checks, when speculations became rife as to his whereabouts. According to Adeniyi, the Chief Physician to the President, Dr. Salisu Banye, had said Yar’Adua had been diagnosed of acute pericardits, an inflammation with the sac-like covering of the heart, on November 26. “It was then decided that he should undertake confirmatory checks at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he had his last medical checkup in August. The medical review and tests undertaken at the hospital have confirmed the initial diagnosis that the president is, indeed, suffering from Acute Pericarditis,” the statement had said. But investigations conducted by the Nigerian Tribune revealed that President Yar’Adua was not in either of the two branches of King Faisal Special Hospital in Riyadh and Jeddah. In fact, a worker in the central unit of the hospital, Hubaid Al-Atabi, disclosed in a telephone conversation conducted in Arabic, that the president was never admitted to the hospital, adding that his record was not in their possession. He, therefore, advised the Nigerian Tribune to make an enquiry at the Jeddah branch of the hospital, which further revealed that the president was also not admitted therein by a member of staff who refused to disclose his name. The numbers contacted were +96614427502, +96614647272 (Riyadh), +96626677777 (Jeddah). Meanwhile, a source said the president is still in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, though out of hospital. The source said further that the president, for now, could not embark on long haul trip, thus making it difficult for him to be taken to either the United States or Germany. The possibility is that his wife, Hajia Turai, might have decided to explore the spiritual angle by moving him to a place where the already employed marabouts can pray for him unhindered, a source said. Another source said the family had objected to taking the president on air ambulance to either the US or Germany and even Nigeria, because of the unusual noise that it could cause. Given the latest development, nobody, not even the aides of the president, could say authoritatively where President Yar’Adua is. Meanwhile, if the controversial Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Michael Aondoakaa, was presumed to be speaking the mind of ailing PresidentYar’Adua’s kitchen cabinet, then Vice-President Goodluck Jonathan and those pushing for his constitutional ascension as acting president should perish such an idea. The minister, who had said Yar’Adua could rule from sickbed, told a federal high court sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday, that the operational 1999 Constitution did not make it mandatory for Yar’Adua to communicate the National Assembly, even when he could no longer discharge his constitutional duties. His position was contained in government’s preliminary objection to a suit by Mr. Femi Falana, seeking an order of the court compelling Yar’Adua to constitutionally hand over the reins of governance to Jonathan in acting capacity while still ailing and another by a former lawmaker, Honourable Farouk Aliyu, seeking to declare the president unfit to continue in office. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now confirmation can not be given that the Yar'Adua was ever admitted to any of the two branches of Hospital he was supposedly to be receiving treatment. NA WAH 4 NIAJA O. Please i need HELP!! |
