@BusHouse there's ample space and locations for tracks in Nigeria. We are actually in talks in securing a prime location for such an event. Naturally the safety of all participants and spectators will be the number 1 priority for longevity.

I must say it's refreshing to find racing enthusiasts. I've been nursing this idea for many years and have put a lot of effort in making it happen. I am behind the brand "the top driver" and myself and like minded enthusiasts (some I met on nairaland) have been working together to build a dedicated online community for enthusiasts. Our website www.thetopdriver.com and topdriverF1.com ( for our formula 1 fans) are currently undercontruction. But here's where we need your help....this can't work unless we all come together.

I actually see porsche coming to Nigeria as actually a good thing. It"s been a long time coming and there should be more official car companies opening up their showrooms in Nigeria. That said we simply do not have the roads for high performance vehicles like the porsche in Lagos or majority of the country unless you live in certain parts or you really plan your route before taking the car out for a spin. I know thats what i'd do sha

Its actually shocking the way other road users behave once they get behind the wheel of a vehicle. i've experienced people getting upset and raining insults because i stopped at a traffic light on red when there was no on coming traffic.

Couple with the fact that everyone seems to be in a rush to get to their destination doesnt help either, for example aty the lekki Tollgate yeaterday i witnessed an accident in slow moving traffic because someone was still trying to get ahead of other cars waiting to pay at the tolls.

We live in a Lawless country so its not surprisng most people disregard the simple etiquettes of driving.
