Abia state nawaaoo. Well having traveled almost Igbo states, I still insist that abia state is the worst thing to happen to SE. Infact it is taking the shine off SE. You don't need to go far to find this truth. Just pass thru abia state, though the expressway is better than what you have inside but that will give you a clue that you have arrived into the most disorganized, filty region. With all manner of crime taking place, even kidnappers collect as low is 2k as ransom. I strongly believe that this so called executed projects are fake. The more you look |

I'm from Ogwasiuku, in an unbiased analysis. I have virtually been to the state capitals in the SE, Enugu, Awka, Owerri, Umuahia, Abakaliki. Of all the state capitals I have been to in the SE the least poorly developed Abakaliki and Umuahia, but Umuahia is number one in terms of being the worst state capital, because from what I have read and seen about the state is nothing to write home about. Infact Abia remains the worst state in the SE with ill-state of Aba and its environs coupled with bad government of Orji family. |

abouzaid: Please tell him the bitter truth. Am from Ogwasiuku, I have a friend from Anambra who once told me that immediately you say that you want to marry imo girl everybody in the family will frown at it. I think imo girls/guys has fundamental problem why other Igbo states and more especially Anambra people particular both their guys and girls does not marry from imo. Anambra prefers marrying among Anambrans and also marry from Delta because my fiance is from Anambra 1 Like |

abagoro: Sorry to disappoint you, Its a national and international knowledge that your Owerre is a no-go-area. So stop deceiving yourself because people does not travel to your owerre for anything meaningful except for gang of prostitutes selling themselves 1naira due to bad market. "Travel Warning U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE Bureau of Consular Affairs The U.S. Department of State warns U.S. citizens of the risks of travel to Nigeria, and continues to recommend U.S. citizens avoid all but essential travel to the Niger Delta states of Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers; the Southeastern states of Abia, Edo, Imo; the city of Jos in Plateau State, Bauchi and Borno States in the northeast; and the Gulf of Guinea because of the risks of kidnapping, robbery, and other armed attacks in these areas. Violent crime committed by individuals and gangs, as well as by persons wearing police and military uniforms, remains a problem throughout the country. This notice replaces the Travel Warning for Nigeria dated October 19, 2010, to update information on recent violent activity and crime in Nigeria." http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/tw/tw_5580.html |

olawalebab: You are talking nonsense. If I have not been to Akure I won't be saying this. From Akure to Ondo town to Owo to Ore are all in shambles. Akure the state capital can boast of rocks all over the place but the town is nothing to write about, no social life, no hospitality, the roads are so narrow with shanties and muds houses all over the town. From Adesida to Ijomu to Oke Ijebu to Isolo to Ondo road are all shanties with its low population due zero economic activities. For all I care the town can easily compete with such state capitals as Ado Ekiti, Osogbo, Jalingo, etc. |

Haribo: Oh you lived in Awka years back, does make any sense. Does anybody need to live in Umahia to know that the place is nothing but a mere glorify local council which only be compared to Ado-ekiti or osun |
