mukina2: Ehya, someone is playing word games with the wasted lives of his very own citizens. but i forget... cost of life comes 3 for 5,000.00 in Nigeria. (the "have-nots" life that is). would anybody who had the option of a decent apartment choose the water front instead. chai Nigeria! |

Havilah93: i received exactly the same sms yesterday morning. I already ignored it......got one last week saying fashola was receiving one acn flag ....all na fraud HAHAHAHA. LWKMD I got d same text last week of the fashola AC flag n i though "how dumb" and to think it was sent to me by a girl i was thinking on dating. Of course I've jettisoned that plan. Such dimness in one i expected better from was unbelievable |

honey001: It happens everyday in Nigeria. But I'm intrigued at the thought of meeting some of these people in the flesh. That will be the beginning of building the Nigeria we want: when young minds both local and in the diaspora meet and merge along similar ideals. It doesn't have to be in one place. But it can happen simultaneously, recorded and posted. This may just be the beginnings of our own "DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE" |

kingoflag: ah nooooo, who dash monkey... I have only sojourned in 3 countries so far in 3 continents of this world also i have lived in he eye of religious/ ethnic conflicts up north, south and i know my people. But i think the Question ought to be do YOU still have a connection with the real Nigeria? Mtcheew, leave my front. Hopeless he goat. 1 Like |

kingoflag: Since we NIGERIANS are shallow minded and despised by the rest of the world including you, my foreign friend, i won't ask you what you are doing on a Nigerian forum. No, I'll only conclude that you are yet to understand the average nigerian mind and what propel''s it to say "the truth" especially when politics is concerned. As for me i don't trust a man undecided on what he believes in and his purpose in life. That GEJ is a mess up does not mean his biggest critic is a better option. this is Nigeria where things are never what they seem. |

Billyonaire: Tunde Bakare said OBJ is evil and prophesied the death of President OBJ in office. My brother God bless you for the observations. When he preached most of this messages i thought the bros must really hear from God. I remember the one he preached once titled "our king is not dead" quoting hezekiahs illness and topping it up with the words "say to the king, this sickness shall not be unto death"... Alas, umoru didn't make it back from the sick bed. Then there was a time when he came in full yoruba attire (cap n all) and all but declared he was goin to OGun state government house, stating that was where the take over of good men will start from. Shortly after he did a major turn around and declared for vice president with a man he has countlessly villified from his pulpit. No, i say he has crossed the line this time, if he knows of a plot to oust a democratically elected president, no matter how incompetent, the sss should keep him till he tells all he knows. 2 Likes |

I've always maintained that the first fella who invented the tie should be exhumed and shot. Also same for the first person to bring it to our shores. |

Malabeni: I'm begining to see sincerity on the part of Damola. He has done what any honourable business man does, offering refund in a veried case of dissatisfaction. @poster,heed to the advice of bigx, return the car and take back your money. I can see responsibility from both parties. @poster,please if you choose not to take the refund,do lay down your grudge and bicker no more. Good business reputation costs a fortune to build. Enough said. sir, read between the lines, 1. return in the "good condition" bought. 2. Refunding will be done in about a month when the vehicle is sold... Hmmm i wonder o. I see litigation here. |

damola1: please sir, can you tell us how dirt got into a radiator that has been serviced by Elizade? Also are you saying ELIZADE certified a vehicle as serviced with FIVE Indicator lights on? @ lekky, pls scan that vehicle IMMEDIATELY with a professional scan tool so you know what you bought. 2 Likes |

Uduaghan! Uduaghan! Uduaghan! How do you come up with such an assinine plan that only shows how clueless you are. I tot the initial plan of asaba airport was to provide solution to commercial passenger flights to the capital? Now you are planning for large cargo planes! To service who? D civil servants in asaba or the business people in onitsha across the Niger? What's the purpose of dredging the Niger then? Do you think any international carrier in their right mind will land an A380 dreamliner or a 747 wide body in rural asaba with a barely digitalalised ATC sporting antiquated radder equipment of the 90's? Please delta state has three ports in warri, koko and sapele, invest a billion in each and you'll have solved a major unemployment problem in your state. In case you have not noticed no sane country allows foreign carriers go to just any place within its borders. Instead they designate one or two major airports where foreign carriers land passengers/ goods are transported using local carriers into the hinterland. This is also purely economic . Go and think again before you waste your peoples money cos you clearly have no clue what to do with it. |

ramalot: bro, believe what you want, this man is a lunatic. I have personally travelled through most of edo including villages, there's no such mystery lake. Also i mentioned two known cases. One case seems calm n normal, lived in a village near warri and tells anyone who cares to listen that he was in the Israeli army, sometimes its the mosaad and at other times he was a successful music djay in Berlin. And also has an European wife (claims). Don't know if the family still bother to look for him considering how many times he's run away. So there. Until you ask the townsfolk you'll never know he's off d edge. And since you know so much about ritualists procedures, I'll not raise that point of this wierd nay funny ritual |
![]() |
At the end of the story, I couldn't tell if the so-called abductors were robbers, ritualists, kidnappers or the Red cross. Beats me |
![]() |
ramalot: Thanks for stating the obvious but let me take you deeper. Someone analysed the cost of feeding him for six years over half a million. Now after living with robbers/ritualists for six years one should be able to give their names (even if only first names) and descriptions. 2. If you study nigerias map there are no forests surrounded by water (or Lakes in the Benin area) except maybe d creeks of the Niger delta. 3. If you were a reporter trying to write a story for the weekend which will you report "MAD MAN COMES HOME AFTER 6 YEARS WANDERING" or "KIDNAPPEE RETURNS HOME AFTER 6 YEARS IN THE JUNGLE"? |
![]() |
Pooh, most of us don't appreciate the facts of the story only taking his skewed and warped version. Go back to the story, what did the family say? He was a case of insanity 2. Did the family make a police report at the time of abduction? No. Why? Because they knew he went bonkers. 3. Look into the patients eyes what do u see? I see wanderlust and confusion. All signs of his many travels in his crazed state. 4. Its popular in his region for jealous enemies to afflict their friends and loved ones with such illness to prevent his further success. And it is usually through poisoned drink. You'll know the difference because the person doesn't go completely mad or snaps out of it from time to time. Av seen two similar cases all from that Benin region. |

valencia25: When Male and Female Dog are having sex, you take a nail to the soil close to the two Dogs and Nailed down... They will both get stuck together for eternity if you decide not to remove it, anyone tried this?saw it done once by some friends but the dogs managed to untangle themselves after a while despite the nail in the ground. Was't soo impressed by the barbaric intent |

What about the unsaid parts of this story? I'm talking of The part that those "youths" were heavily armed, that they extort money from stores and shops in udu, that they have been accused of extra judicial killing in times past. Just because they have guns... or do you all think anybody in his right mind will confront armed kidnappers with blunt matchets and rusty dane guns, pls know what you are applauding before waving your pom-poms. Lets just tell ourselves the truth: small arms possesion is growing and prone to abuse in untrained hands. |

It is practically impossible to do REAL journalism without some measures of digging and that's our bane. We are better at sensationalism, owambe and opinion journalism, fourth estate of the realm indeed . |

This is going to be around for a long time. Whenever "The Boys" get broke they throw a few grenades to attract attention, get a settlement and every body is happy till the "amnesty grant" is squandered. No wonder we've not seen any development lately. |
