Politics / Re: Aviation Probe Is To Pull Down Yoruba - Group by iseobio(m): 5:25pm On Jul 05, 2008
This is ridiculous. Instead of the yorubas to be ashamed of themselves, they are shouting on marginalisation and persecution. Is it moral for a minister in the aviation industry to embezzle all the money meant to protect lives and live and affluent live jusst to be among the prominent nigerians? Dont you know that the funds released are directly linked to human lives? if there is no total radar coverage, then the planes will keep missing. In fact they should be hanged for all the air mishaps they have caused.

If the Yorubas want to support such people and their actions, then they bear a collective guilt and are all murderers. The recent revelations shows that a Yoruba man is not capable of rulling this country. Power generation has dwiundled and all the huge investment is going to a bottomless pit, heatlh is poor becasuse a yoruba person embezzled $300m, aviation industry is grinding to a halt because yorubas embezzled billions.

If I were a yoruba person I would be ashamed of my self and my race.

Romance / Re: Why Do Ladies Always Want Their Partners To Say "I Love You" by iseobio(m): 1:53pm On Jul 05, 2008
Well on the positive side it is good for men to tell their babes that they love them. If men develop this attitude they will be able to tell their kids that they love them which will help to enhance family unity and affection for each other.

Politics / Re: Fani-Kayode Blames Occultists For 2006 Plane Crashes by iseobio(m): 8:55pm On Jul 04, 2008
he was raised from what you people perceive as "heathen origins". In the heathen world costly mistakes and failures are attributed to withcraftcy. I bet you if a poll was made through out nigeria 85% of the people will agree with Kayode. DONT CRITICISE OR LAMPOON HIM. He only hoped the senators are from his contituency.

What do you expect from a dying man? if you were in Yaradua's shoes would you bother developing a place you are sure you might not live the next minute to benefit?

i think he is being sensible. it is the mistake of nigerians who gave him power or whom he robbed power from.

Most guys don't know how to say it , perhaps because of their backgroud. BY THE TIME THEY GET HOOKED WITH THIS BABE, they come out singing it like a nursery rhyme. I mean it should be from the heart not being forced by a lady that is trying to raise her egos

some parts of the country should prepare to be in permanent darkness in the nights while some will enjoy constant light in the night. Universities and other lower schools in such areas where there will be light in the night should operate night school so that they will be able to do experiments. even all workers should sleep during the day and work at night.

Sometimes i wonder whether it is a majic clause that makes them happy. how does it make them feel? I used to think that some of the ladies would be more contented and happier with a thousand "I Love you" than with many material goods.

Politics / "PHCN Announces Nationwide Load Shedding"- Is It A New Modus Operandi? by iseobio(m): 6:52pm On Jul 04, 2008
The Management of Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) has announced a 12-hourly zonal power rotational rationing from 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am nationwide.
A statement by the PHCN yesterday in Abuja said that the new power rotation, which begins on Friday, was as a result of “the serious electricity power crisis across the country”.
“This is to ensure even distribution of the limited generation out-put from functioning plants,” the statement said.
“The issue of inadequate gas supply to the thermal power stations, Egbin, Omotosho, Geregu, Delta and Sapele is yet to be resolved,” the statement said.
It noted that low water levels at the lakes of the Hydro Power stations, which account for 25 per cent of the nation’s generation out-put has compounded the instability in the power system leading to the prevailing nationwide load shedding.
The statement said that the low level was brought about by the increased draw down of water during dry season to augment shortfall in the thermal units.
The PHCN therefore, appealed to “our esteem customers, other stakeholders, especially the mass media for understanding and co-operation as PHCN is doing everything possible to ensure improvement in power supply”.
Politics / Re: Dont Waste Your Your Soldiers: Militants Tells The President by iseobio(m): 6:48pm On Jul 04, 2008
i have taken my time to read all the contribution on this topic by members. except for a few, the rest do not have full knowledge of the delta area. the Nigerian army will certainly perish in the creeks. the Biafra war was won by the federal governement because most of the people in the niger delta never supported biafra. they were the people that betrayed biafra. Nigerian military can only succeed if the people are willing to back the government. but for now every body in the niger delta sees the federal government as one big armed robber. So how can the soldiers possibly win?

Some talk about the SSS. the SSS can only operate based on intel from the community it is operarting. Go and ask any of the armed forces, intelligence and paramilitary organisations and they will tell you that the niger delta is one of the most difficult places to work in. this is because the people do not trust the federal government. simple reason being that the government has failed them.

the issue of compensation should not be negotiated. it is their right because the activities directly affects their means of livelihood. the neglect by the governemnt stares every niger deltan in the face daily and this serves as a bulwark for their determination to fight the government.

if the whole of nigeria wants peace and good life they should all back the niger delta cause.
Politics / Re: Kano Youths Inhale Gutter Odour To Get High. by iseobio(m): 9:53pm On Jul 01, 2008
The NDLEA officials would soon be join the Kano boys in sniffing the odour. I believe this will follow naturallly from their habit to take the very drugs they try to stop people form taking.

The Emir and his subordinates should use the opportunity to create suitable sniffing zones by putting up open sewer reservoirs with comfortable seats. They could make a lot of revenue from this. The youths should be awarded certificates for being environmentally caring and friendly. at least they are helping to recycle the waste and the evidence of bad governance.
Politics / Re: Most Corrupt Politician In Nigeria by iseobio(m): 8:12pm On Jun 21, 2008
IBB is the most corrupt and taught nigerians how to be corrupt. He got involved with drug trafficking (remember Gloria Okon case), embezzlement. 419 started in his government because he allowed it. He is the most corrupt. followed by the folloing;
1. Abacha
2. atiku
3. obasanjo
4. odili
5. ibori
6. kalu
Romance / Re: Is This Normal: ? Am More Comfortable With Ladies Than Guys by iseobio(m): 6:32pm On Jun 21, 2008
I dont think you are gay. it is just that you prefer women to men. maybe it has to do with you upbringing. for example if you father was very hard on you and your mum is always kind. you will be inclined to associate with the feminine folk more than with the men folk. anyway women are good to associate with.

MAY YOU BE BLESSED WITH MULTITUDE OF WIVES.
Politics / Re: ‘i’m Scared Of Port Harcourt’— Odili Jolts Eso Commission by iseobio(m): 5:32pm On Jun 21, 2008
the whole thing is a mockery of government institutions. how can a whole panel travel to abuja because some one is saying rivers state is not safe for me. the law is upside down. the panel is the servant, the accused is the lord. even in developed world i have never seen a situation where a panel will move to the home of a government official to gather information. I remember tony blair appearing before a panel it was not in his office but at where the panel was sitting.

I think Odili and Sekibo should be arrested immediately because their action establishes a prima facie against them already.

stillwater:

Bail who? Nepa officials are the most haughty set of human beings I've ever seen. Infact those who work for the government in Nigeria need good training in customer service. I can't pity them ooo.

you cannot blame them if they are haughty. thye are taking on the mentality of the taxman. the taxman is haughty because he knows he is representing the corrupt government who has nothing to show for the tax collected. PHCN staff will be haughty because they are collecting money for the light they have not supplied. so they have to be aggressive so that you wont complain but just be begging them.

Kobojunkie:

jeeez, in a week, I average about 100 of those scam emails. I wake up each morning to delete at least 10, not to add the rest that come in during the cause of the day. It is ridiculous. The stupid thing is the idiots continue to use Nigerian names, streets addresses and phone numbers. You would expect by now they would have at least learnt not link it to Nigeria. I get those with Chinese names attached and at the end, a Nigerian phone number. These people are idiots.

it is a shame. I also recieve such emails. i am of the opinion that the victims of these nigerian scammers are also potential scammers if the situation arose. How can one want to gain from where he/she did not toil? Theyare all greedy that is why they fall for their scams.
Politics / Re: Nigeria Should Either Revolutionize Or Disintegrate. by iseobio(m): 2:00pm On Jun 21, 2008
revolution precedes disintegration (destructive revolution). either constructive or destructive should occur. But i don't see that happening. June 12 would have been the occassion but nothing happened. Now who will spearhead the revolution? I think it is only a few that are suffering and shouting otherwise no one will tell them when to start the action
Politics / Re: Yar’adua Declares War On Militants by iseobio(m): 1:55pm On Jun 21, 2008
yes the states are to blame. but Yaradua should have shown by example that he is not a party to such votes. If he really meant his rule of law from the inception. But he is busy defending his iil-gotten mandate in the court. Why cant he fish out those that sponsored the criminals in all the states? Or are these people his political Godfathers.? All the truth and reconcialliaton committee is a waste of time and is frivolous. Why does the committee has to travel to Abuja to hear from Odili and Omehia? why can't yaradua tell them to go to where they were causing problem? He is just such an inept leader.

mckaycee:

The problem is really not the PHCN staff, rather than crucify them, they should declare OBJ and other past leaders who robbed the system. Our president should tell us what happened to the power probe panels report when the reports are out.

Even before OBJ, PHCN (former NEPA) had been on strike. Their talk of strike is ridiculous. I thnik they should have threatened HUNGER STRIKE.
