Webmasters / Webmasters::: Have You Heard About This? by isp1(m): 10:34am On Jan 24, 2008
Our Federal Ministry of Education has created a wealth creation tool worth over N40 Billion for all to utilize and generate as much funds as possible. So many have started utilizing this opportunity. Seminars are being held around the country emphasizing this opportunity. Have you started making profits out of it or are you yet to start? I'm still wondering why nobody has introduced this in this forum. I have learnt about this opportunity and I must tell you, there is no day I don't make at least N10, 000. You can give it a trial.

If you are yet to learn of this opportunity, send me your mail address at cfs2008 @ iconsystemplus.com
(Please, don't copy and paste this email address as you see it. There are spaces between them.)

I'm waiting to receive them but please, tell more people of this opportunity and do well to post your comments even your testimonies here so that others can believe as well.

Business / Re: My Own Piece Of The National Cake! by isp1(m): 5:18pm On Jan 23, 2008
Thanks to those who have sent me their emails. I love your responses but there is still something I want to make point clear here.

This is not a get rich quick scheme at all. You should be sure that you will have to do some works. As you go ahead doing this job, your funds keep coming in on daily basis without any hindrance.

Good luck as you continue enjoying your own piece of the National Cake.
Business / My Own Piece Of The National Cake! by isp1(m): 5:17pm On Jan 22, 2008
Have you heard about the over N40 Billion scheme freely provided by our Federal Ministry of Education to enable all cut a piece of the National Cake starting from the Educational Sector while waiting to harness more from the other sectors?

If you are yet to hear about this, send a mail to cfs2008@iconsystemplus.com

It is a good one and you must not fail to be part of it. Check for anyone who is aware of this scheme and they will tell you more.

Waiting to see your posts on this scheme.
Webmasters / Re: I Hope Web Development Is Not All You Do ? by isp1(m): 11:58am On Jan 22, 2008
Simply and short, there should not be too many words here.

Which ever way to deem fit, follow.

My only advice is that, gone are the days when people tell you that you are Jack of all trade. Fine. Accept it. There is no trouble about it. They will only say it but u know too better. When job A starts failing, job B surely will not. Even if it attempts failing, job C stands to give you your daily bread. Diversity is the key. I believe in it and surely, it has never and will not fail me.

Give diversity a trial if you have not and you will live to tell the pros around it.

Webmasters / Re: E-business And Nigeria's New Payment Gateway By 2008. by isp1(m): 10:50am On Jan 16, 2008
From the much I know as I have made inquiries from Banks and other sources and from what I have found out, Interswitch is only a company so also etranzact. These duo are the only companies offering this kind of service but Interswitch is topping the chart. We need a better company that will establish better services and top the chart leaving alone Interswitch and etranzact with their kind of services. The Banks are the only backbones to this. They can frustrate other establishing companies if they collaborate with Interswitch though this will weigh down the development of ICT especially in our Banking sector. Online Payment gateways would go a long way into helping solve so many issues like
[li]Reduce the risk of carrying physical cash around[/li]
[li]Easy payment for goods and services[/li]
[li]Increase individual income rate (Online transaction:::E-business- 24/7 open storefront through your website), etc[/li]
These I have mentioned might even be minimal pros. There could be more as it could help disburse the excess crowd that file at the Banks. If you can receive your payment online and have it credited into your account, if you can easily transfer funds to any account for payment without actually having to visit the bank don't you think your life becomes easier for you to live?

So many might talk on the issue of this creating unemployment but I tell you that at this point, you will have the banks recruiting more staffs to handle especially the customer service department since so many customers will keep calling in or mailing to rectify one issue or the other. Accounting now becomes tougher as well since no physical cash is involved. All is computerized and a single mistake will be very risky. More knowledge of accounting packages in the computer will now be required which will aid in the development of Personnels in computer literacy also. Come to consider these as let us plan together and see what becomes of out E-business and Online Payment Gateway.
Webmasters / Re: E-business And Nigeria's New Payment Gateway By 2008. by isp1(m): 10:05am On Jan 16, 2008
I understand fully well that how good a payment gateway does is based on the ICT skill of the integrating bank. If they fail to understand and advertise the gateway well, then there will be no much users to appreciate the gateway.

The one question here is, "Are our Banks equal to the task of managing these payment gateways" and "how strong is the ICT developments of our banks?"

I think this will really help us know where we are heading to.

GTB offers a thing like that too. They called it WebPay. I don't think you'd still pay that 150k though the system is essentially through Interswitch.

Can I know about this WebPay?
Webmasters / Re: I Need A Webdesigner (entertainment) by isp1(m): 10:00am On Jan 09, 2008
I think a web designer is a web designer and knows tasks that he/she can handle conveniently and those he will employ better hand to tackle. It need not be a must to develop an Entertainment website firstly before you know someone (web designer) can handle the task. A portfolio of earlier jobs done could do the magic.

Gimme a trial and see what is obtainable at my domain.

WebMonk:

There also another angle to this, especially in web business 'which would you use when discussing with potential customers/clients?'.then it'll be how you use each that the game is won and lost.

Rule of the thumb: always stick to email.phone when it is absolutely necessary, and sparingly at that.email will dictate your pace, give the impression you're busy outfit, and will dictate how serious the person is.phone would give the opposite,as there are no barriers (one on one - anything goes, especially if you're not a good negotiator).
My contributions.

I believe you!

Webmasters / Re: Gsm And E-mail, Which Do You Prefer? by isp1(m): 7:39pm On Jan 07, 2008
Since the inception of GSM, people just abandoned the emails. Those who usually go online to send mails and do other things now became lazy about it. They tell you "my mail must have been deactivated because it has been more than 4 months I checked it last. Moreover, since I have my phone what is the need of going to send mails when I can easily call the person and pass my message across."

Is this ideology the best we can figure out?
Webmasters / Gsm And E-mail, Which Do You Prefer? by isp1(m): 11:01pm On Jan 06, 2008
This is one of the most puzzling things that has bugged my mind over some months now. I have personally conducted a survey on this offline but would want to do the same here. Here my survey goes.

Some of these banks charge nothing for installing their payment system, they only take commission on transactions. Bank like Skye bank. Call (Ikem-08035447545) their e-channels dept at their HQ in lagos.

I hope this will help.

Please, I will like to understand better what you mean here. Do you mean that if I developed a payment gateway, Banks like Skye Bank will charge me a commission and integrate my payment gateway to their system?
Webmasters / E-business And Nigeria's New Payment Gateway By 2008. by isp1(m): 7:04pm On Jan 03, 2008
The fact that Nigeria is still developing in the E-commerce sector does not necessary mean that we should not work on the existing payment gateways and e-commerce platforms. Talking about E-biz in Nigeria, I don't think this in any will be possible if there is no seriousness attached to the issue of Payment Gateways and E-commerce. One problem I foresee present in the existing payment gateways is the high cost of registration of users, their conditions and commissions. This is really malling the effort of the development of E-Business in Nigeria.

A Look into E-Business and Nigeria's New Payment Gateway by 2008.

1) What should E-Business and Nigeria's New Payment Gateway by 2008 look like?
2) What features are expected of it to help aid the growth of E-Business in Nigeria?
3) How do we get Nigerians to appreciate E-Business?
4) Can a new Payment Gateway be possible?
