Here is my unsolicited $0.02-

The outcome could have gone either way if a play or call here or there went differently or if he was healthy or maybe if he didn't drop the ball. One 60 min game was the deciding factor and that's all that matters for now. It ain't necessary for anyone to drink the Kool aid or the water out of the mighty Mississippi but please give them their props

Love or hate 'em and regardless of how they got it- the Lombardi trophy belongs to the Saints and anyone supporting them till somebody else lays claim to it next year.

Surely not a good sign at all. I like Brett and have always struggled with players loyalty and their desire to win at all cost. I'm afraid he lost some points in the court of public opinion on this one.

On a side note, they can continue with the squabbles and distraction and watch the Saints get an even easier ride to the SB. Now, that would be sweet cool

The Cowboys deserve massive credit. They went into the Superdome and pulled off their biggest win of the season when everyone said they could not. Big time credit.
Giving major props to the cowboys for playing a great game and wanting it more than the Saints did. It was an exciting and drama filled game. Lets just say the loss was a very humbling experience embarassed. Anyway, over that now and time to get pumped and find a way to wrap up the last two games in style wink.

The NFC is still anyone's to win and their playoffs are going to be quite unpredictable, with Jerkyll-Hyde teams like the Eagles and Cardinal prowling around.
However, I do like the Saints chances and will just take it one win at a time for now.
