Agriculture / Re: Nigeria Launches GMO Maize, TELA by Jaycee07(m): 9:55am On Jun 19
ShinnBet:
The only candidate that would have ressisted Globo Homo would have been Atiku.

Larry Fink of BlackRock dictates every economic and financial policy to the current FG.

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi was appointed VP Blackrock after GEJ fired him as CBN governor.

Sanusi coming back as Amir of Kano was Larry Fink's doing. They need a westernised internationalist like Sanusi on the throne to sell Globo Homo to the conservative Muslims up north.

GMO crops are dangerous on every level but by far their most greatest disadvantage is that it will destroy the natural seedlings we have in Nigeria and Bill Gates pushing his poison means he will end up owning the intellectual property rights of all seeds in Nigeria.

Bill Gates and Larry Fink are evil as they come.

The senselessness of Fulani bandits in the northwest and North Central is to drive farmers off their lands and from there make way for mega corporate farms owned by Larry Fink's BlackRock and Bill Gates Monsanto Group.

Both of these individual firms own majority of farmlands in the US and Ukraine.

The first thing Zelensky did when he became president of Ukraine was to repeal the centruy's ban on sale of homesteads. After lifting the ban, Zelensky introduced heavy land taxes on the farmers to force them into bankruptcy so as to sell their lands to American Jewish mega corporations like BlackRock and Monsanto. Most of the productive and rich soil is to the now liberated eastern Ukraine with its Russian speaking people. The Ethnic Russians saw this as the last straw and declared independence from Kiev. That's when the unrelentless shelling and terrorist attacks by Kosher nazi Azov brigade began.

The Judaic agenda for world domination is never complete without a great man made famine to pacify the population. They did it in ancient Egypt with the soscerer Joseph . The Jewish Bolsheviks under the Jew Lenin ochestrated collectivism to steal the farm harvests of the Russian peasants. They did same with the Holodomor famine in present day Ukraine. They adviced Mao in China to sacrifice millions of his people to hunger in the name of communism. Pol Pot of Cambodia , another communist egg head telegguided by Jews ochestrated another mass famine against his people. Whenever communism takes over, the Jewish god Saturn aka Satan must be placated with a mass genocide of humanity.

No Jewish communist take over isn't complete without a mass purge brought by a man made artificial famine.

Garbage!!!!!!

The trial was a sham and contrived!

I stand with Trump!!!

Make America Great Again (MAGA)!!!

You are are liberty to support whoever you choose to. But I find it incredulous and laughable when you say that it was a contrived and sham trial.
I’m wondering whether you understand the meaning of those words.
For a former president to be convicted of all 34 counts felony charges…. Uhmmmmm.
This is a public space. I’m sure a lot of folks here either followed or watched the trials. It just might be helpful to read and think before relating your opinion to public space.
Not even one of the jurors dissented on all 34 counts after painstaking deliberations, then Trump is guilty as charged and for now is a convicted felon. The only hope he has is if he wins the upcoming presidential elections.
We will see whether or not his conviction will tip balance in terms of his approval rating!

Namaster:
DUMB question!

Women don't marry for dick. It's FOOLISH men who get married because of the promise of unrestricted access to pussy.

Understand this:

Women NEVER marry for dick. They can get that anywhere ANYTIME. They marry for status and resources.

A WEALTHY eunuch could EASILY marry 5 women and all of them would sing his praises as the epitome of a "real man".

They will be happy to marry him and have their fill of dicks from somewhere else. Most likely, an ex boyfriend.

This is real life.

You’re are absolutely right!!!!

MrMcJay:
As a man, you should invest in YOURSELF FIRST. That woman you're helping today is still with you because you're in a position to help her. Once she leaves that position, she'll look for other men who can give her what you are unable to give her.

Men and women are wired differently. In matters of looks, money, age, education and class, men date downwards while women date upwards. Having a woman date downwards or sideways is abnormal.

Females only date those above them. They may manage to date those of the same level due to low demand for them but never date lower than them.

For the poor man struggling to take care of his woman so that she'll be well fed and won't look outside, it is the fresh skin of your well-fed woman that would attract the men who would take her away.

Hate me for saying the truth, it's simply evolution at play.

This is absolutely true!!!!!

The only downsides are earthquakes and typhoons. Other than that, it’s a great place to live

The present problem Nigeria is facing started from when Jonathan lost his reelection, they did a lot of damages you can ever imagined before leaving office as part of their revenge, Buhari came and couldn't fix it but added to it and here we are today.

Don't just argue this with me

My dear friend,
I respectfully beg to differ. I remembered quite vividly that i was sent on lots of missions in Nigeria between 2000 and 2014.I know a lot about your country, that you don’t know.
First of all, Buhari was grossly incompetent. He had no business being a community leader, let alone a president of the most populous black nation on earth with lot of intelligentsia. Secondly, he was surrounded by sycophants and charlatans like himself, who couldn’t see the difference between politics and the delivery of good governance to its citizens.
The accusations and counter accusations that riddled his administration was a calculated attempt to discredit the previous administration and to distract the citizens from realizing what would’ve been their right to demand answers to his incompetence.
Jonathan was not a saint by any stretch of imagination. But he was a more empathetic leader.
The stealing and killing under Buhari’s leadership was uniquely sordid.
There were very powerful people who were determined to sabotage Jonathan’s government and they did. And because he was Lilly- livered, he didn’t have the balls to do the needful.
Nigeria is a very unique country. When someone of one of the major tribes is in power, regardless of how incompetent and corrupt he is, his fellow tribal men and women will always rally around him with support, as it was with Buhari and with the present leader.
The Jonathan’s story doesn’t fly. You know it, I know it and everyone knows it.

She's somehow right but nairaland is not the best place to have reasonable discussion.

Women are not created to provide, it is against their nature, it makes them become masculine and vulnerable to other men. It takes a strong and well disciplined woman to provide and still remain faithful, well, not much of such women exist these days.

Men should learn to be traditional and provide, stop stressing your women and putting them in vulnerable position to other men.

This might be true to a significant extent.
But there have been situations that the man provides financially, emotionally and have truly been there through and through for his family and yet, the woman still cheats.
How does one explain that?

Was Jesus in Acts?

Show me where Jesus preached about himself to the 5000 he fed or the rich ruler who came to him?

Act 1: 8 Jesus himself instructed his followers what responsibility they should take on.
That Bible account also relates how the resurrected Christ supported his followers to carry out the preaching and teaching commission.
Remember Saul of Tarsus who later became Apostle Paul? Christ blinded him, while he was on his way to Damascus to persecute Christ’s followers.
Let me know if you need additional information on this subject.

Your own too much?

Did Jesus ever tell anyone to preach about him?

Jesus was preaching the gospel not himself!

Yes he did. Acts of Apostles 8:5 : Now Philip went down to the city of Sa·marʹi·a and began to preach the Christ to them.
So yes the early disciples preached preached about Jesus. Our salvation is impossible without having a relationship with him. He is the truth, the way and the life.

Some of these guys are struggling to justify their choice in the last elections. Lately I had to remind one that elections are over and if we're not careful, we'll lose the next four/eight years of our lives.

You are absolutely correct. Elections are over. I am not a Nigerian, even though I have my ancestry traced back there.
That’s a plausible statement to make. Elections are over, but you’re living with the consequences of electing a leader who’s not in touch with modern times and realities.
Let me quickly remind you again that the minimum wage is N30K. So don’t even make any attempt to deflect the subject in question.
You have families and friends who are struggling so terribly to feed and pay bills. And I can assure you that most of those individuals voted for Tinubu.
Right or wrong , they made their choices and I respect that.
Does that make Tinubu pro- people leader? If Atiku or Peter Obi had won the elections, can you be truthful and honest that you wouldn’t criticize him if he had increased the tariff?
That tells me there’s something creepy about your support for this government. And it’s not even in the overall interest of the nation. It’s either you’re a tribalist or a religious fanatic, who sees nothing wrong in criticizing a leader simply because he doesn’t shares the same tribe or religious faith with you.
And may I remind you gentleman that poverty, hunger and starvation are alien to tribe and religion.
When you think about Nigeria and Nigerians and not the president, then we can have an original thought to share.

Paraman:
Power supply is so cheap in Nigeria. No wander Nigerians are not complaining about the increase in price for people in Band A
@ Paraman, how will civil servants with minimum wage of N 30k afford this ?
That the real question that we should discuss. The last time I checked, N30K is still the minimum wage.
Tinubu should also be swift in approving increment in the minimum wages.
If and when people have more money to spend, that wouldn’t be much of an issue. Until then, stop being a clown. You can still support the government and criticize them when necessary.
You live among the poorest of the poor. I am sure you have relatives and friends who are struggling to eat . Do you not feel for them? Or you prefer to extol your oppressors. That’s called Stockholm syndrome.

It's obvious you don't know about BRICS... They sell their crude in their own currency, whilst strengthen their currency

Sir,
Selling your crude in your currency is not the problem.
But how does that strengthen the currency? Can you explain that? Or am I missing something here?
The last time I checked, Nigeria is an import dependent economy? What BRIC Nation will accept Nigerian naira when Nigeria is importing stuff?
Most of the weapons used in Nigeria for security and defense purposes are sourced from the US. Will America also accept naira as the trade currency when selling their weapons? You sell your oil in naira, and use the proceeds to import goods from the west in usd/ pounds/euro. What business sense does that make??
I may not have all the details, but I know one thing for sure: No BRIC nation is currently comfortable aligning with China who happens to be the biggest economy in the so called BRIC committee of nations. Everyone feels that they’ve been given the shorter end of the stick, since China’s objective isn’t even about trade, but political and military supremacy.
Nigeria might actually do well to reconsider its stance before joining BRIC.In my opinion, it portends economic woes in the coming years.
I will explain more when you offer your views.
Thanks.

Hi guys, please I really need your help.

I have a twelve years old son who is very lanky, he looks d*mn too malnourished for comfort. He was very robust from birth till around the age of 8, when all of a sudden he started depreciating, initially, we thought it was a normal thing, as he was growing taller too, but now, I can't even bring myself to post his pictures on my status. He looks just like 7up's Fido Dido.

Now, this is a boy who eats whatever he wants, he's well fed, and lacks nothing. But with his looks, you will doubt that he's even fed at all. Although he looks far from being healthy, but he rarely falls sick. He's so skiny that whoever sees him, asks us what's wrong with him. Another thing, he always leaves his mouth opened, something that has now affected his teeth. We tried every tricks in the book to stop this, but to no avail, he can hardly keep his lips shut for more than 30 seconds.

Now, he's is a very hyperactive boy and finds it difficult concentrating atimes, but he's well above average in school.

Kindly help with solutions to this problem, it brings tears to my eyes as we have done everything we can think of to reverse this. Recently, a doctor suggested we place him on egg regimen, he now eats 3 eggs daily, but there seems to be no changes whatsoever.
Recommended medications, specialist or hospital we can take him to, preferably in the South West would be highly appreciated.

He's my only child, please help a desperate father!!!🥺

Ops,

Your child might be suffering from Addison's disease (adrenal insufficiency) – This condition causes insufficient secretion of hormones from the adrenal cortex, which can cause weight loss
I am not by any stretch of imagination giving you a definitive diagnosis of your son’s medical condition.,
But it’s important that you see a pediatrician who’s experienced with this type of cases, possibly in a university college hospital where you have different professionals.
I am sorry about your situation. As a father, I know it must be really difficult for you.
A proper diagnosis is essential. Once he’s properly diagnosed, then the right treatment or management plan can be administered. He’ll be okay eventually.

Lagos has done it again!

The benefits of the internet is so numerous that any society not actively deploying it is left behind in this global village economy.

This data perhaps explains why fake news is more prevalent in those regions in those regions of Nigeria with poor internet use to investigate and confirm if what they heard or shared with them as 'news' is true or false.

But for Rivers state, the whole of the defunct old Eastern region of Nigeria would have been completely missing on the list of top 10. Delta used to be substantially part of old Western region and later part of Mid-west.

I am profoundly proud of the Southwest in terms of how it is increasing its use of ICT and the state Governors must do more. I am not surprised about Kano, they are to the North what Lagos is to the whole of West Africa. Katsina is the one that pleasantly surprised me. This is one of those great times you get good news from Katsina.
