YOU HAVE ALL YOU NEED!

This sentence often sounds like a lie or a mere motivation when said to people and many times we just hear it and wave it by, maybe because it doesn't sound practical enough or what we think we have disagreed with it. Whatever our reason might be does not make the statement untrue.

Everything we desire, dream and plan to achieve is all present in us in the form of a seed (skill, ability, relationship etc.) that needs to be planted.

When a woman is pregnant, what is mostly said is she's carrying a baby, and that baby in a few years will be someone's wife/husband, dad/mum, mother/father, boss/employee, friend, uncle/aunt, mentor/mentee, that baby is a new generation but simply a fetus at the time of conception.

All the mother needs to have that baby is an egg produced in her ovary in the form of ovarian follicles.

So that dream we have is an indication that the seed is on the inside of us.

All we need to do is:
Know what we want to do/achieve: This is where we dream and plan.
Know what it takes to be achieved: This is where we identify what is needed to achieve that dream/plan.
Identify what we have: This is where we look inward to reveal what we have which is a potential material to achieve that dream.
Learn about it: This is where we get ourselves educated by our mentors, coaches, peers and those who have harnessed what they have to know more about what we have.
Sow what we have: Now we put to use what we have discovered we have on our inside in service to others, in educating ourselves about it. Simply PUT TO USE WHAT YOU HAVE FOUND IN YOU.
The same way a pregnant woman is advised to go for antenatal care so that she can know all about the baby she is carrying till delivery, I'm advising you to get all the education (trainings, mentorship, coaching sessions, etc.) you can get to be able to harness the greatness already on your inside.

The truth is over 90% of the time when someone tells you they will get back to you, you know that transaction has entered voicemail because they never do. It is something in sales we call SALES OBJECTION - There are many underlying reasons but 'I WILL GET BACK TO YOU' is the easiest route out.



When a prospect pulls the I will get back to you card it can mean one of the following

1. Get lost you are wasting my time

2. I really do not have this money and I cannot tell the vendor this so let me use a lie to get out of this conversation

3. I really need to consider my options and make a decision

4. I need to get approval from my (boss, spouse, kids, parents etc)

5. They are your competitors or friends, partners and relatives of your competitors. They only need to know your price.

6. Or one of a million other things



So next time you hear it (because you will hear it again), here are 9 script options you can use.

1. SCARCITY - I hear you but do not take too long as we only have 3 pieces left and I guarantee you this is the best quality you will get out there.

2. CLARITY- Is there a particular aspect of my presentation you need clarity on to aid decision? So I can shed some light on it

3. FOLLOW UP - I can understand why you need to think about it because it is a big decision to make. Several of my clients took a few days to come to a decision, is it okay to get your cell number to call you in 3 days to follow up on your decision?

4. PLAIN TRUTH - Is it that my product/proposal does not fit what you are looking for? I might be able to adjust it or provide an alternative if you let me know your exact need

5. SOCIAL PROOF - While you make up your mind, let me send you testimonials from our recent clients, they were initially hesitant but ...... now they cannot stop talking about us

6. PULL A JOKE - Customer customer are you saying this because you do not want to buy and you think saying no will break my heart?

7. NOW OR NEVER - I am excited you want to think about it, I am willing to throw in a 15% discount if you buy within the next 24 hours. This offer will not be available after now. If you ask me it is a good deal. Should i send account details?

8. SELL VALUE AGAIN with ASSUMPTION - Here you assume the price is the issue so you can re-iterate the value. This product is $370 because it does a,b,c,d and e. Infact it has a 12 months warranty and if you buy products of less price, the guaranty that it will last beyond 4 months is the Grace of God...

9. CHALLENGE THEM - If price is the issue, what are you willing to pay? I can recommend alternatives or see if we can work with your price, i really want to do business with you and know you will enjoy your purchase and even bring more customers or clients.

To be able to afford all the things you want?
To make your parents retire well?
To invest, save or just spend?

I for one need money to increase what I know (self-investment) and multiply the one I have.

Whatever your reasons are, I need you to understand the concept of money first.

People pay for the value they get, the bus drivers, food sellers, superstores, teachers, schools and others you can think about.

You see when you offer value in a product or service, you get money people's money.

I had to buy data because of the value I want to get and give online, so MTN collected my money and I got value in data.

So please understand that money is gotten when value is exchanged.

If you can know"the why", "the how" will become a reality.

Asking how can I make money is a wrong question if the why hasn't been sorted.
without a concrete reason (WHY) you will give up soon because the why is the fuel you need.

I need money to fulfill purpose and fund my career inn BRAND IDENTITY DESIGN & TRAINING, so this is why I wake every morning to get to work and take breaks to refuel.

I do put an advert to do brand communication designs for N5,000 and I know my audience will be found on LinkedIn, so I go there share the value I have, the benefits of professional & creative advert & promotional designs. I share tips on how people react to the designs they see and human psychology related to visual representation.
Then I market my advert and no doubt I have individuals and companies requesting and I record a total of 50 designs in a month and a deal to come train some member of staff how to manage a companies visual identity for a fee

So you see, knowing why I need money has ushered me into the how.

Then I channel the money I earned to savings (in Naira & Dollar) and I invest some and My money is multiplying and saving while I have some to fund my WHY.

You see you need 1,000 people to pay you 1k for you to have 1million,
or 500 people to pay you 2k to get 1million,
or just 200 persons to pay you 5k, and you have 1 million.

STEP 1: FIND A HIGH PROBLEM (NEED): The root of wealth is tied to a need (problem) solved. Every wealthy man today simply found a problem, searched for the skill to solve it and prescribed the solution. When I started graphic design in 2013 there were a lot of bad designs all around with few knowing the danger it is causing and few who knows who can do it better, so when I started doing flyer designs for 2k I had requests I couldn’t meet up with, then I called a friend of mine I call Maxwell, and we shared the jobs and the profit and I kid you nor I had no less than 4 - 7 requests every day for the whole of mid-2013 to 2014.
In this age, the following problems are on the rise:
Graphic Design
Copywriting
Coding
Web design/development
Coaching/Training
UI/UX Design
Content writing/Creation
Digital Advertising (Publicity & Public reach) to mention a few.

STEP 2: FIND A HIGH PAYING SKILL AND LEARN IT OR COLLABORATE: This step is broken in 2 parts,
LEARN A HIGH SKILL: You must know that the higher the problem, the higher the money involved (This is one secret every wealthy man rides on, even myself).
with the problems, I have listed above you can go online to search how much people are paid for the skills for these problems. “Did you know that you can earn from $200 - $1,000 for every 500 words in copywriting?” “Did you know that a junior (not too good) designer is paid as from $40 per hour?” “Did you know that you can earn from $1,500 - $5,000 for a UI job?” I am writing in dollars because that’s the currency I earn from while In Nigeria, Yes I am located in Poer Harcourt presently. There are more skill that can earn you more than you can imagine.
Presently I charge as from N40,000 for a logo design (for my Nigerian clients) and as from $500 for international clients.
COLLABORATE WITH A HIGH PAYING SKILL: I know for some it might be a daunting task to learn more than 1 or 2 of the problem skills listed in step 1, don’t worry you can still make money by finding someone who does and reach an agreement called “referral fee”. what this means is you look for a client for me (for instance) and you can get as from 35% - 50% of the amount charged on a service offered without you knowing how I do it. All you need to do is know me and know someone who needs what I offer, simple!

STEP 3: CREATE A DIGITAL SOLUTION OR PRODUCT: This is one interesting part, you can create a product once and earn from it over and over again without doing it all over again, all you do is take what has been done, market and send to the payer and repeat the process (you are creating the product just Once).
A very good example; My foremost role model EMEKA NOBIS write a book in 2017 and he’s still selling that book till date by simply sending to those who are interested and getting paid, shikena. So you see!
Oh! I didn’t explain DIGITAL SOLUTION/PRODUCT, It doesn’t only relate to books it also covers online training, book (e-book & hardcover) creation, Webinar, Online Course and many more.

STEP 4: TEACH WHAT YOU KNOW (TRAIN OTHERS): This I enjoy doing because it allows people to learn what I know and opens them up to the chances of being better than myself, that way I can outsource jobs to them which means I can take on more jobs, receive more money and we share 50/50.

There are more steps than these 4 I have shared but I want you to take hold of these and work with it.
