Romance / Re: Nigerian Girls In The U.S. Are Lonely by Jezzy(f): 10:06pm On Oct 07, 2007
Like I said,we can keep running circles around one another or we can stop, pay attention and see the best in one another.

Chidnosky,U met a couple of dirty chicks and u are already thinking that most are like that?

2Buff,just settle for Oyibo since you are yet to meet a Naija woman that isn't a bitch.I doubt u'll see one anytime soon.

As for the guy that thinks Naija girls are cheaper than the girls on Flavor of love show,I have nothing to say to you.It takes a cheap person to know a cheap person.

Khai khai,no let me knock you.It can be pcheeeeeeeew, mcheeeeeeew or whatever. cool

2Buff,two girls were rude to you and you think Naija girls are all rude? Some people are rude, some are polite.Let's stop all these generalizations.
No one I know is looking for a Denzel or Will Smith or anyone who has been on TV for that matter.Puleeeeeeeeeze.We keep on generalizing,we keep on running in circles around each other and at the end no one will meet the other person, ever. sad

Nwando,abi o.Let's not mind them.

I'm a Naija girl in the US and I'm homesick and miss my folks but am not lonely. There are more than enough things one can occupy herself with over here.Just going to school and going to work takes care of the lonliness part. When I have time,I go to the theatre, movies, park, museum,or I just stay at home and watch movies or read novels. With such a busy schedule, who has time to be lonely.
As for those Naija men that are spewing nonsense about the Naija girls in Yankee,I can only say Shut da hell up!You have no idea what you are saying.Nobody is forming for anybody, well, maybe some are but it goes both ways. But if you got game-real game-let us see it.If you don't go ahead and chase the girls who would have your sorry asses.Pcheeeeeeeew! angry
Romance / Re: An Open Letter To Nigerian Girls And Ladies by Jezzy(f): 12:18am On Oct 01, 2007
I've already forgotten what the original post said but I know that it doesn't warrant any personal attacks to the writer,it's a free world. The ideal way would be for everyone to practice abstinence and for people not to have ulterior motives in relationship but we all know that is never going to happen.

I for one like to live a blameless life and I practice abstinence.Unfortunately,in this day and age,it's difficult to find a like-minded man.Once I told a prospective boyfriend that there would be no sex in the relationship and he looked at me like I was nuts and wondered if I was a virgin, when I replied in the affirmative he burst out laughing.I've never felt so humiliated in my life and the relationship ended there before it even had a chance to begin. It's not only women that are out there having sex,men put a lot of pressure on us and until my encounter with the said man,I didn't know virginity was now a thing to be laughed at.People like me will wait no matter what it takes and how long it takes because we believe we are in the right. An article addressing men would be welcome.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Thought It Was A Joke But Its Real by Jezzy(f): 7:09pm On Sep 14, 2007
It is a scam.By the time you provide them with your account number, you'll find out that it's too late to withdraw.Nobody gives you dollars for free,we that are in the dollar country know that.To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

I agree with Debosky.Another thing you have to keep in mind is a list of your priorities.I'm thinking working for a little time(at least year)would be good for you before you go into the masters program.
Religion / Re: Kissing and Romancing: Part of Fornication? by Jezzy(f): 9:09am On Sep 12, 2007
Be careful when you kiss so that it doesn't lead you into sin.Men get so easily turned on so be careful ladies before you find yourself doing something you did not plan for.

Bless you my brethren.I've worshipped at Winners' Umuahia(got baptized there and did my BCC),Winners' Uzuakoli(my village,I was ecstatic when they opened),Winners'Eket (holiday stints)and Winners'Okigwe(school).Winners is the place to be.I reside in the US now and haven't been to Winners.Great to hear so many testimonies from brethren.
