Politics / Re: Ex-Senate President Writes Obasanjo, Blasts Ex-President Over Letter To Jonathan by joevicon: 11:53pm On Dec 21, 2013
It is rather unfortunate that most people hailing the "rubbish open letter" of OBJ have failed to understand the antics of this dangerous old general. A man that goes to ASO Rock uninvited for prayers and breakfast finds it difficult to discuss with GEJ on one-on-one. It is very pertinent for us to know the content of those letters that were not answered. Where they advices or directives of the "boss" to a "sub-ordinate." It must be understood that OBJ's greatest disturbance is that the GEJ whom he underrated to be a weakling that will be easily manipulated like a robot, has prove to stubborn to be beaten into shape. According to his daughter, it is time these retired general stop seeing Nigeria and the rest of us as their personal properties. OBJ should produce the List of those purported to have been penciled down for elimination and where the snappers are being trained (we must also remember that OBJ is an expert in this) he should be more specific on his accusation - you don't expect GEJ to start defending mare speculations. I would not be surprised that PDP is now getting sanitized of bad eggs - OBJ, IBB and the Speaker should not hastate to declare for APC so as to complete their plans. I congratulate OBJ for opening the can of cankerworm which I feel will help us the masses to know the exact characters of our "kingmakers". We need more open letters like this of the former Senate President Ameh to exposed the wickedness of man to a fellow man for the sake of acquiring transient power and wealth.

God Bless Nigeria and Nigerians of goodwill!!

Religion / Re: Pastor Adeboye Warns Members About Sister Linda's Message Of Hell by joevicon: 10:10pm On Dec 14, 2013
I am not aware that the man God, whom I respect a lot and have had personal encounter with long before he became a pastor, ever mentioned that sister Linda is a Catholic. Why should someone (an "acclaimed Christian") insinuate that some of the comments on the massage which are not agreeable to him were made by a catholic. You acclaimed righteous people should please leave the Catholics alone. Most of you including your leader Chris Okotie have sentenced us to hell. However, we are happy you are not our Merciful Father in Heaven who knows and sees the hearts of everyone including you judges.

Religion / Re: Reasons Why The Roman Catholic Members Will Go To Hell-fire. by joevicon: 9:55pm On Dec 14, 2013
I really thank you for your judgment of the catholic faithfulls. We Catholics have one consolation - you people are not God. Sometimes, you illiterate Christians display your ignorance because you do not have an in-depth knowledge of the Holy Bible as you read sections of this all-encompassing book in fragments and out of context. You may need to go to your pastor to educate you on the meaning of "doctrine". It is rather a pity that you don't even know that the very place you worship has some doctrines. We Catholics are proud of who we are and whatever your views about us is very, very irrelevant. On the last day, only the Almighty Father in heaven will tell among us who are the real grains and who are the chaff and not what you may claim you are. Have a blessed day and think more of making it through that "narrow door".
Politics / Re: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by joevicon: 1:21pm On Dec 12, 2013
It is rather unfortunate that our General in this country have failed to realize that the bane of corruptions in Nigeria were planted and nursed by them. How can OBJ, the father of corruption, point accusing fingers at other concerning corruption. Maybe he has forgotten that what others did after him was following his foot-steps. If he has forgotten, the Ota Farm is the property of FG. The N300billion for road construction which was shared between him and Aninih is yet to be accounted for. He was the Minister of petroleum most of his tenure without accounting to the country what came in and what was actually spent. Ajaokuta Steel is in a mess today due to the deal between him, his son and Solegas. What of Iyabo share of the booty of the Aviation money? What came out of it- did he not block the case? Did he actually fought corruption? All those he projected as being corrupt were those he used indirectly to fight his Vice, Attiku or those who failed to dance his music the way he wanted them to. He is equally known to be the father of 3rd Term. He should allow GEJ to be focused in what he is doing rather that throw spanners in the wheel of progress. GEJ has the right which is conferred on him by the constitution to go for a 2nd Term. Coming from a minority is not a crime. After all, he OBJ never wanted GEJ to be President in the first place (please read the confession of El-Rufai). OBJ please leave GEJ alone. Don't out of jealousy try to dent his image because he so far shown he is an achiever - in 2 years, he has surpassed what did in 8 years.
Politics / Re: New PDP 8-point Demand by joevicon: 9:48pm On Oct 02, 2013
Bunch of confused people led by a desperate leader seeking relevance. Check the background of this yeye politicians - the case hypocrites with logs in their eyes proffering solutions to those with only specks in their eyes. Baraje and his lackluster governors, who have milked their states dry, should leave GEJ alone to be focused on his transforming agenda.

Politics / Re: President Jonathan’s Nigeria At 53 Speech - Full Text by joevicon: 8:11pm On Oct 01, 2013
God bless Nigeria and may she become great as prophesized by REAL Patriotic Nigerians like Our dear MR. President.

Let me remind you of the advise of Prof Jibrin Aminu- "be focused in what you know is right to do and forget the detractors (or members of the senseless opposition trying to find political relevance) and Nigerian will give a 2nd change on a platter of gold."

Your speech is quite encourage - it is devoid of empty promises. It is good to "break the slate" as we can see the difference. Keep it up and don't forget your oath the make Nigeria better. We're sincerely praying for you to succeed.

Once more, God bless NIGERIA!! Happy 53rd Independence Anniversary!!!!

Education / Re: ASUU Has Been Unfair To The Nigerian Students- Obasi by joevicon: 3:31pm On Sep 30, 2013
Inasmuch as the government is being blamed for the decay in our higher institutions today, ASUU and the supervisory body, NUC have a greater blame of the rut. Many Universities are said to be accredited in most of their programmes by NUC using ASUU members. This shows that NUC and ASUU are not being honest in the signal or impression of the state of the institutions they project to the public. If all is well with these institutions, why turn-around to cry fowl to Nigerians? What do institutions do with the fees, levies, fines, application form fees, etc.? ASUU should look into how these funds are spent or squandered as these funds are not ploughed back to the system to improve the institutions. How many of our institutions today are actually carrying out meaningful researches? How can the country grow? We churn out paper that cannot translate into useful purposes because we lack necessary facilities to do so. NUC need to be overhauled and the present administrator should be removed - he has over stayed his usefulness to the system. NUC at present do not furnish the Education Ministry or the Fed. Government the real facts to help the government to articulate better policies for education in Nigeria. The Executive Secretary is a major virus in the system and will pollute any minister you appoint in future. Concerned citizen.

Politics / Re: Ngige Flags Off Campaign In Anambra State. by joevicon: 12:49am On Sep 21, 2013
I expect Ngige to go and vie as a governorship candidate of Lagos state and not Anambra State after his brother Fashola steps down. We have not forgotten his public endorsement of the deportation of Igbos in Lagos so as to earn APC nomination. We don't need people who are ready to trade us for a plate of porridge, sir.
Politics / Re: El-rufai - Buhari Has Nothing To Offer, He Should Retire by joevicon: 12:03am On Aug 21, 2013
Jungle is beginning to mature. The skeletons hidden in the "progressive" cupboards will be made manifest for the good people of Nigeria to see korokoro. Best of luck, El-Rufia and presidential-candidate-for-life Buhari.
Politics / Re: Amaechi Gives Terms For Quitting As Govs’ Forum Chairman by joevicon: 11:11pm On Aug 15, 2013
It is quite surprising that over ambitious people do have short memory. Amaechi, sir, have soon forgotten how you became the governor of Rivers State. You have also over rated your level of intelligence - you mistook being smart for intelligence. How else can you Amaechi forget to realize that Mr. President is far bigger that all the Governors put together to the extent that I've personally heard you use abusive languages on the President of Nigeria. I'm not surprised because your association with the likes of old but unintelligent Akande, you're bound to be influence by them. If I were you, I will go down on my knees and apologize to the President by putting your foolish pride away. You are about to ruin your political career by thinking you are bigger than your political party. Those advisers of yours don't mean well for you - they will abandon and later you at the appropriate time. You've some skeletons in your cupboard - try to read the handwriting on the wall before it is too late. You may not be as popular as your surrogates will want you to believe.
