I'm literally crying as I read this. You never know what you have, having parents that spend on you and you did this? Please do not do it again.
I was about to burst into tears this morning when I sent 4k to my father through my brother that stays with me but I just did not cos I've a place to check out for job..... But reading this.... V bn trying to gather 200k to get a small place to do something but family responsibilities won't allow.... And you squandered 580k?
You do not how lucky you are.... Now the tears coming out uncontrollably just by reading this...

the guy stated that his family has a history of being entrepreneurs, so he has the background. All of his family are currently into business, you really think he won't be abke to get connections and suppliers from them? Most people with a background in a certain trade or profession, usually have a good grip of things. That is also what he loves doing, as opposed to whatever he is doing now

I don't know what clients and vendors have to do with the discussion, for all we know he plans to go into buying and selling of spare parts, in which case, yoir scenario will not play out

He is not happy where he is, let him go to where he is happy and where he feels at home. Paid enployment isn't something he is used to, so, I will not in good faith, ever advise anyone to stay where they are not happy because many people never escape the clutches of paid employment no matter how much they want to at the later stages.

The fear of the unknown has crippled many dreams.

I love the last statement. God bless you dear.
I'm telling you I understand this guy thoroughly...
Some jobs do make it seem as if you don't have option..... And if care is not taken it will kill the spirit in you and you'll resigned, cos you are afraid, you don't know how you'll survive without the job...
I'm telling you that guy is feeling boxed up and he feels he needs to spread his wing and fly... He should go for his happiness and build himself..
The beautiful advantage he has is his family. They'll be there for him in his starting process, he should make full use of the advantage and their support while he can....
the fear of the unknown has thwarted so many destinies ... At least it is better to try than not trying at all
Note: I'm not against paid job but fulfillment, your state of mind and what you are deriving or learning /gaining matters.

desiigner:

Your writing is terrible, I wonder the kind of people that are giving you jobs or whatever you do. How much do you earn as an entrepreneur? Do you think that every entrepreneurs make so much money? And do you know that some people working for someone else can actually buy you with your so call business or whatever. Nothing bad in working for someone and nothing bad in being your own boss as long as you making money and it makes you feel happy. Most of these rich entrepreneurs we know all started by working for someone then they got exposed to business and saved up money to be on their own, except those that inherited so much wealth from their parents, like Donald Trump.
I will rather be an employee at Google earning $12K per month than claiming to be my own boss when I can't even make #500k per month. Do you know who Sundar Pichai is? He's the CEO of Google and as y'all use to say, he 'works for google'. He worth close to one billion USD for 'working for Google'. Only few entrepreneurs in the world worth more than him.
Oga wake up to reality!
My dear, you are so on point...you've said it all, People will saying entrepreneur, entrepreneur up and down as if its as easy as that, except u r ABOLANLE.... Working for someone helps u save up capital, acquire experience and even networking. May God help us jare
