The higher difference in price of this commodity in Nigeria, compared to other countries of the world is directly proportional to value of dollar in our local currencies. Coke/Pepsi is not in anyway cheap in Nigeria. The statistics adopted in this module is similar to the system our leaders use when they want to hike any thing in this country. These drinks are supplied in the local currency, the question we need to ask ourselves is, how many currency of the whole world is as weak as Nigeria Naira. If dollar was #140 as it was before now and the drink in question is sold for #70 or #100 would anyone equate the price now with value? NO. The price in dollar is way down in Nigeria because of the exchange rate. Cole/Pepsi is expensive at this point in time just like every other things in Nigeria. Before you can say this is cheap, you need to look at the purchasing power of an average Nigeria compared to every other countries in this chart. Minimum wages in Nigeria is #30k and only few states honour it. None of the Nation mentioned is receiving $40.5 as a minimum wage for working for a whole month. An average of $1.3 per day 2 Likes 1 Share |

Western media has made everything non-western evil. We need to sit down and look at it logically. Apple first to build 3g. Apple/Android first to build 4g. Huawei and ZTE (Chinese company) first to develop 5g then come this conspiracy. The biggest treat to West has been the emergence of China. And for those who thinks this has to do with NGO New world Order. This is US vs China war. 1 Share

Enough of these unnecessary sentiments. When the West do something bad that their laws allow, you all embrace or better remain silent. In US because everyone can carry gun responsible for the mass shooting that continue to happen in most of their state. The gay marriage and the right of woman in marriage over man. All this are been applied in USA and some other country whom tend to share the same believe but this does not make them right. Is just a matter of been accepted by the majority and using their might to look like the best practice in d whole wide world. The fact that a wife can decide over night to leave his husband and call for divorce hence entitled to three quarter or half of his earning as some case may be does not mean such is right because is from them. But even d black has to accept that, because that's what their law says over there. In Saudi, It is evident that the reverse is the case, man is given priority over woman. And in this very case it can be deduced that the husband is a saudist and a moslem by all implications. He was the one that sues the wife for exposing his child to what seems alien (nudity and paganism) to him and his society. So why are you making mountain out of a mole hill. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Validcode: In good governance infrastructural development is key , to this effect I really agree that, he was able to rebuild indeed but don't forget that u have to incorporate all other sectors for effective delivery of good governance. He was wise enough to delved into what is so obvious that even d deaf could hear and blind could see. Take a look at the Education sector; paralysed. Health sector he scored zero, employment generation failed, housing delivery; zero, workers welfare; zero. Agriculture; zero. When u are talking about all round governance (the facts are there for u to see) OGD is far better. 10 Likes 1 Share |

I will give it to Yar'dua he was exemplary. He put the people first. He reduced the fuel price to #65/litre among others. The best PDP provided for their 16years ruling. Buhari: crime fighter and nation builder. Though things hasn't be rossy as expected but still promising than ever. Obasanjo: always want to b in corridor of power. He used it to amass wealth. The nation Nigeria has always be a slave to this man. From Operation Feed d Nation a federal project during his military rule to Obasanjo farms Nigeria. Could hardly believe it when we were told that federal government was still paying the staffs salaries across the nation till some months ago when Buhari stopped them. Jonathan : Though he gave up power without shedding blood but worst that happened to Nigeria in this democratic dispensation. He was too soft and subtle. Looting became the order of the day. NB:This noble country is now being divided by ;religion, ethnicity, tribe and political parties. May d good Lord save this nation. |
