Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Questions Concerning Your Preferred Salary Scale During Job Interviews by kizini: 8:05pm On Sep 09, 2013
Its Simple, Every employer is looking for a genius. If you are smart? You should know what you're worth! If you don't know, you aint smart enough. People who sit on the fence on questions like this, goes a long way in depicting their indecisiveness. No one wants to employ an individual who cannot make a simple decision. You have goods to sell and you don't have a fixed price, aren't your goods fake?

Rarely comment, but this topic caught my attention.

I will advise all prospective employees to read the Nigerian Labor Law.

Please note that any term not covered by the labor law and included in an Employee's employment letter is null and void.

Look for a lawyer quickly, he'll advise you better.

@OP, I was in same situation, it was very difficult to let go, but I had to think deep and made a decision that's was in our best interest with the future in mind. She didn't accept my decision, it was very hurtful looking at the pains in her eyes and remembering such moments... But hey! Its better to cry now than crying forever. She said I broke her heart as AS wasn't an excuse, I hope she understands someday, but as the Man in the relationship, you need to take hard decisions when they arise. Wishing you all the best.
Phones / Iphone 5 Nanosim, When Will 9ja Provider Be Compliant?? by kizini: 9:31am On Sep 16, 2012
I'm Sure alot of people didn't notice the change in design on Iphone 5, coming out with a NanoSim card which is smaller in size and weight compared to the MicroSim card. 40% Smaller, and LTE technology. For Potential Users in Nigeria, lets hope the MTN's, Etisalat and GLO wake up to the new challenge by upgrading their Infrastructure to Support this phone's technology because currently we cant use this phone in Nigeria. No Nanosim card and we're still battling with 2G/3G, though heard NCC hasn't issued the frequency spectrum for 4G to Mobile operators(Dont know how true) and now LTE?? hmmm...guess will keep doing catch up

@Top Dog: Thanks. You can buzz me
Romance / Re: What Is Wrong With Marrying A Jehovah's Witness? by kizini: 12:36pm On Jul 23, 2011
@hectorblaze: Marriage decisions are what you need caution in making a final decision as to who becomes your Life partner. As a prospective husband, you should be looking for a" partner" the word partner emphasizes the kind of person you should look out for! One who shares same belief, Idealogy or someone who has same line of thought as you. As a husband you need to provide for your household both Materially and spiritually as well, now my questions is why enter into a marriage that a line has been drawn on religious differences?

If you marry her this is what you should expect, She wont celebrate Christmas, Birthdays with you. Imagine yourselfs on this periods of the year alone with your wife at home with a different belief. Already there is a friction and when you give birth to children, where are your children going to worship? Guess with you and your wife has a different opinion. So how do you reconcile this? You convert her right? Dont think about, My mama used to tell me dont expect to change someone who has been living with an Idealogy for tweenty sometime years of their lifes maybe you should try your luck but trust me you have a very slim chance.

My own opinion about religion is this : Religion is a science that guides our way of life. In as much as we have different religions in the world, all religion claim to proffer the best way of life. People go on and on in this forum to criticize, de-humanize other peoples religion but wait a minute I use to think we have freedom of association/Religion and choices we make in Life. The Outcome of our actions tells if we have made wrong decisions in our lifes, as an RGGC Member have you for once regretted associating with your Church? As a Catholic church member have you for one regretted being associated with your church as a Jehovah's witnesses have you for once regretted being a member? As a member of deeper life Bible church have you regretted being a part of it? Enough members of the said Places of worship have inner contentment with their beliefs and have continue to practice the way of life being preached to them based on the their doctrines which might be working for them.

It is better you make your decisions now!! when you have the power to change things than when its late. You might decide out of love to change your religion because of her, but that will be a wrong thing to do because religion should be about our worship to God not because of Love of woman. Because if you change because of love you will never give your best to your new religion because you have other ideas from the on-set which might seem as if you were coarse into it.

Why not make a choice from someone who shares same Opinion as you do? It saves you alot. Though finding a mate is not easy. But I believe with the drones of people pumping into your place of worship every time you should find your match there.

Let the girl go, sometimes finding the right partner involves you giving up on others. She has her good qualities but she is not the right one for you, is as simple as that.

But for people who go about criticizing others, without showing why they are better off with their opinions? I rest my case.

I have given you an advice without religious sentiments attached to it.

I will forever remain a Jehovah's Witness and have no regrets about it.

Think am interested in your post, Am a Graduate of Electrical and Computer Engineering, graduated with a 4, Cgpa. My mum wanted me to study Architecture cos she felt I was very good at Drawings and I remember her telling me that its lucrative being an Architect. I sticked to my dreams and with the help of God I got want I want in terms of Education. All I want you to know is that at every stages of life we meet challenges and its most important if we face them then we shall overcome them. From your post it shows already that you are a good student, Having a CGPA 4.01 in physics that you are weak in is impressive!! Cross over to electrical if you can, You have Identified your weakness already and all you need do is to work on them. By the time you get to Electrical you will come in contact with very good students who can help you out in your weakness. Let me use myself as an example; I was not very good at all the courses but their are some that am the best in, so with the help of other colleagues in Class we formed a reading group where we help each other, that at the end of it all we sharpen ourselves and became better students, I believe with hard work and dedication with the help of God you will achieve your dreams and excel academically.
****Its very important for you to know that the course you study doesnt mean you will be Rich in Life, You being rich in life is a different ball game entirely, It depends on other factors that are not only academical.

Like I alwayz tell my siblings/friends "A MAN THAT IS HARDWORKING NEVER LACKS WITH THE HELP OF GOD"
