Nobody has used one semester evaluation from WES to claim two or more certificates. You attempt this, your application gets rejected as your CRS scores will be re-calculated. If WES does not evaluate whatever certificate as a one year college certificate, begin to look elsewhere.
Agreed.

It's too risky, even for a risk taker like me. Apart from the ECA costs wasted, the time which could have been used to d eligible options...nahhh cheesy

I am struggling using pencil to write. Some letter are not legible and the pencil breaks too often. What can i do? IELTS is close already!!

Go to a good bookstore and ask for NATARAJ pencils(3), eraser and sharpner.

You won't regret it.

Thanks for your prompt response. What of the WES...can I redo, I mean, start afresh? Also, can my spouse do open her own registration separately instead of depending on mine cos she has a better chance base on age and qualification?

With this clarity, I will say you guys do a small registry stuff , collect your marriage certificate and start together...She should be the PA.

I'm not sure if its wise for her to do ECA/IELTS right now as a single...cos it may seem suspicious to CIC shaaa.

Assuming that the PA has 3+ years of experience and spouse has LRWS 6666;
CRS with spouse BSc = 443
CRS with spouse 2 or more certificates = 444
CRS with spouse Masters = 445
If spouse has LRWS 7777;
BSc = 449
2 or more certificates = 450
Masters = 451

So to answer your initial question, the difference is one point each

Wow....

You are absolutely gifted in this quest...

Thank you. Thank you. And thank you!

IELTS LRWS , 8 8 7 7.5

Thanks for the reply.

FOR COUPLES.

I believe everyone in this pursuit, is aspiring to be a Canadian. My point is,even if your spouse's score is high enough to get you an invitation, you should ensure you both write ielts, because its one of the requirements to apply for citizenship. Though the result would be expired by then, IRCC would waive it, since it has been used previously, and it's in their database.
In order words, both spouses should write, not just for permanent residency application alone, but also for citizenship.
Goodluck

It will help to know if they are sticking strictly to their current 12-14 weeks timeline, or if it's possible to have the outcome earlier. U know the waiting is painful. I'll just exercise more patience since i've already waited 8 weeks
They claimed they received it on the 4th January. I paid on the 2nd. School sent same day.
It was exactly 8weeks 2 days from January 4th.

Send them a mail.

I think you shouldn't, let them send it first. But do your online application and pay immediately they do.

Pls did your school send your transcript via email or courier? There's this gist that ICES works faster with email. We need to know if the gist holds water.

Can anyone chook mouth for this matter abeg...

Someone taught me this;

Please let your school use their OFFICIAL email address to scan your signed,stamped transcripts.

Immediately you know they have sent it, go to their website and follow the process there...
Don't print out form, do it online and PAY immediately.

Then send them a firm email after 72hours.

Took 8 weeks, 2days.

Seniors in the house,Pls a friend outside NL asked me a question that is bigger than my knowledge on this journey....She was planning to start this journey with her fiance,but the guy friends in Canada said it's hard to get a good job when one didn't have at least 1 certificate from Canada school and regarding their POF they can't raise for the both of them,Now they both agree to put their wedding plans on hold and let the guy alone go for now....The question now is that is it possible for someone who got a PR visa to come back to Nigeria after 2-3 years to marry the lady legally and go together....How easy is this process and what would you advice pls....Seniors in the house,please help me put mouth Topsmamen,Ifeoma and others..Thanks

The cost threshold for excessive demand on health and social services was increased again earlier this year. This makes it even more difficult to fail medicals.

"The annual cost threshold figure for excessive demand on health and social services has been updated. The average Canadian per capita health and social services cost has increased from $6,604 to $6,839, and 3 times that average has been updated from $19,812 to $20,517."

Hello good people,

Just for those who might be in need of this information.

Many people told me to use WES cos I wanted to evaluate a bsc direct entry... That no one had ever used ICES for that.

I wasn't about to delve into the WAEC wahala, so I just included my A level (ijmb) statement of result and my school included an LOE.

ICES has evaluated it positively in less 9 weeks...

It's good/safe to follow the crowd. But sometimes, a little daring action might just turn out pleasantly.

So I'm a first, at least we now know that ICES does evaluate favorably for direct entry graduates with a 3 year transcript.

Now, IELTS on my mind wink

Hello boss, asides the customary WES fee, I have spent the following on WES ALONE so far:

1. WAEC- 28,000
2. UI TRANSCRIPT: ABOUT 22,000
3. LAW SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT: 34,000

I think like me, you should make WES your contingency plan. One never knows with IQAS...

Except you don't really need to max your education CRS points.

I will suggest that EVERY LAW GRADUATE go for iqas.

Wes will give LLB+BL ; 2 or more certificates while iqas will give ONLY LLB; professional degree/masters(NO need for law school transcripts wahala).

It's slow,but the best if you need additional CRS points

Please,i have read this tread from the beginning but still have some issues with understanding it what are the steps by step process to apply for a federal skilled worker program like number one thing to do .....and how to go about it

Calculate your CRS...this will determine below.

Start with your ECA(and for spouse if needed) then study hard for IELTS (same for spouse if necessary) and register.

That's a start.

You don't need to contact your school about verification, just contact ICES and ask for an update with your application, they'll tell you if they need any other thing especially verification

Let me break it down so everyone can benefit

Certificate- 3 modules (compulsory)

Please will the above ALONE, be enough to *clinch two or more certificates* for CRS points, when combined with a Bachelors degree?
