Hello people, I realy appreciate all ur comments on Nairaland.com.

I am 33 years old, married man and have a daughter. Been married for close to 4 years.

I have a business name registered with a CAC certificate to back it up. My business was registered in 2010 and I have a company account with Diamond bank.

I have three visas on my passport. Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa. I travelled to Kenya and South Africa but not Tanzania.

I would like to apply for a German Visa this month and have applied for a Conference through the link u supplied (ICD). The conference is taking place in Berlin, Germany from 25th-28th July, 2012.

I would like you to please help in stating what my chances are and like how much I need to have in my company account and personal account, and every other surpporting documents I might need.

Also please what are the likely interview questions. Thanks.

My apologies for deleting/hiding that post you responded to, i know that sometimes visa agents use the info we give here for their own business but when it becomes clearly obvious that we are not helping the right people then something has to be done.
Then how do u help the right people when the info cant reach them??

That means you can't use your business account or mention that you run a business in your application. Owning a business would have given you a stronger chance of getting a visa because its a strong Tie-to-Nigeria.

Now as a married man with a child earning 67k.a month with 600K in the bank, the ECO will see it as unwise to spend 400k on a trip to the UK in just under 5days, how long will it take you to save that much in Nigeria and of what benefit is the trip to you.. . . if this is a business trip then it makes a lot of sense to spend that much knowing fully well that you stand a chance of recovering that money plus profit.

I don't think you stand a great chance of getting a visa. . . this is just my personal opinion, i could be wrong surely.
laserboy: What if I pay all my tax arears, will that be accepted and what is it about my two employees, is the number not good enough? What would u advise as solution to this? Thanks.

@ all, I already got my Transcript from my university but what i have is the student's copy. On the transcript is a stamp stating STUDENT COPY, NOT FOR OFFICIAL USE. It is not addressed to any organisation or school. Will it be accepted by SAQA for evaluation? Ur kind and quick response will be appreciated.

Sorry bro, i don't have bb but we can talk here. The information that i will provide will assist you and others. Your visitors visa if you apply will be approved. Plz i think that the main organisation that you should send you transcript is the south african qualification evaluation authority SAQA. Its mandatory according to their law. But you can inquire from the school about these. But if you have a transcript of your academic records whether personal of school, the SAQA accepts it even photocopy but have to be certified in police station. To change your visitors visa to study permit, you should bring the police report from alagbon lagos and repatrition fees to be paid here since you have travel before and the rest of the documents can be arranged here. After submission, it will be approved before 30 days. So then, get prepared to be here soon so that you can as well give vital information to others as well.
Thanks for all the info. I already got my Transcript from my university but what i have is the student's copy. On the transcript is a stamp stating STUDENT COPY, NOT FOR OFFICIAL USE. Do you pay tax from your company earnings? Did you employ anybody apart from your wife? How much do you plan to spend for the trip?

@ Justwise; I have never paid any tax from my company earnings, yes i have 2 other people employed apart from my wife but they work on commisions. I plan to spend 400k for the trip(5 days accommodation, flight, feeding and miscelns).
I only pay tax on my salary that is deducted from source. Gross salary is 72k, Net is 67k. Thanks.

The university should not in anyway be blamed for refusing to admit a Muslim student. Do u even know if they belong to d boko haram sect? LOL!!!! abeg the university does not  want to breed another Abdulmutalab! Let the boy apply to study at Crescent University in Ogun State. CU simply does not want to take chances. Muslims are known world over to cause violence. Check out what is happening  in d world today. Well sha, The boy is only a victim of what his Muslim brothers have been causing this country and d world at large.
