Car Talk / Re: 4 Reasons Okada Ban In Lagos Won’t Solve Anything by lekawo26: 11:05am On Oct 23, 2012
Billyonaire: What job can you provide for a lazy man who decides to ride Okada under rain and sun. Okada riding is not an occupation, it needs to be abolish, its the death of skills. For Mary Magdalene's sake, Lagos isnt for everyone, people come to Lagos without acquiring basic skills only to become nuisance using Okada to block free way.

Mr. Billyonaire..i've been reading lot of your arrogant bullshit..and I must tell u I am impressed by the extent a broke ass like yourself (irrespective of how much u think u have) would go to prove he is better than everyone else...Lagos is SHIT!!! you that have been all over the world..where have u seen such bad road networks..almost non-existence bridges etc that would have made traffic lighter? go to tokyo and see what road network is all about, and yet they did not ban okada!!! the mayor of moscow was sacked becos the president of russia came and met dense traffic..Fashola should be ashamed of himself if instead of looking for meaningful ways of reducing traffic, his only method is to frustrate people out of lagos...
Health / Re: Sacked Lagos State Doctors Head To Court by lekawo26: 3:01pm On May 16, 2012
stagger:

Do you know how much policemen collect in bail amounts and all what not? I have personally witnessed someone bailing his relation with N200,000 in one of the police divisions. I also know a police inspector who is a car dealer, and another one who has several jeeps loaned to companies. You tell me, how did they get the money to do so? And these are guys I have known for years; I know where we all started from.

You cannot compare ASUU members who are asking government to respect agreements that they duly signed in 2001, with these bribe-collecting policemen who only know how to kill innocent citizens and when the true robbers strike, they take off. The only police guys I respect are members of SARS. Outside them, very little to cheer about.

Think and research your facts before you put up posts here.
ad do you know how much Doctors are also steal? drugs that's meant to be given for free (by WHO) are sold to people or hoarded...people are asked to do unnecessary tests (in the doctor's private hospital) just to make money...to see your doctor, they charge u a leg and arm and now u say policemen make a lot of money..I hate police officers, but the doctors are no better!!!!

Family / Re: Why Do Some People Maltreat Their Househelps? by lekawo26: 6:34pm On May 15, 2012
texazzpete:

Then you need more exposure. Sorry but in the real world, a large percentage of househelps are treated like slaves.
not necessarily..we've always had househelps and nobody can tell the difference..my mum used to sew thesame christmas clothes for all of us including the househelp. Our current maid is the one in charge of the kitchen..she eats waht she likes and cooks waht she likes. Sleeps in a room as big as mine and like the other guy said sleeps half the day and eats throughout the other half...at the end of the year she goes back to cotonou with 120k she earned basically eating and doing small chores.
Religion / Re: Private Christian Universities: Faith In Deception? by lekawo26: 6:28pm On May 15, 2012
stagger: Anyone with complaints should go to the National Universities Commission, not Nairaland.

OP, who forced you to enter the place when there are other universities? Go to other places where girls apply make-up and go half-nude, where students use Blackberry phones during lectures, and where no one gives a damn about whether you have any morals or not.

I did not go to a Christian university, and if I had an opportunity to live life again, I will not.

GO TO WHERE YOU ARE COMFORTABLE!

u r a slowpoke...i attended Bowen and only cos I wanted to make sure i graduated on time. The federal schools are definaitely better but the strikes have strongly diminished their value hence the need to attend private schools if we can afford them. That being said, Christian schools are just BIG SCAMS..my chaplain impreganated a girl and accused her that she was a witch...The dude is in Liverpool on Baptist covention money..no consequences..whereas I was suspended for Strolling with my chick in the "dark" (i was right under the street light when i was accosted by the VC (jobless man) himself. If u want good education send you kids abroad but the best of bad choices in Naija na still Private Unis

gree-die:

compromise is wen i settle 4 a graduate, instead of one dt studied a professional course, settling 4 less is wen i go 4 a divorced penniless womanizer who is also a wife beater, jst cz im desperate.....

Sweetheart, i feel so hurt by ur utterances cry..i am a mass communication graduate with a masters degree and pursuing a PhD..does that mean i do not qualify to be someone's dream man? anyways I am ALREADY someone's dream man...

Missus u r running after a pipe dream... i know many doctors I am better off and i know many "illiterates" that are more financially buoyant than I am...what matters in a relationship is that both of you have good prospects, big dreams (that you shall attain together) and can tolerate each others weaknesses. Riches does not even begin to solve ur problem. If u marry based on your criteria of "Mr. Right" u will most probably live a miserable life...#shikena
