The flight I booked doesn't have an Amsterdam stop (yes you do need a transit visa for Amsterdam). I think it depends on the date. Maybe try again. Probably network issues.

The airport one works if you have someone in Lagos. You have to go physically bcus no contact online. Also yes their Standard Chartered acct is the worst naira acct to pay into.

Actually, I finally got mine yesterday Saturday. And they do work on weekends. Their airport office was opened (I sent someone there). I also saw on google that their Island office at Silverbird opens everyday (don't know how true)

for qatar best you put the booking on hold for 48 hours until Monday and then pay by local transfer to their GTB naira acct and start calling them on monday. U wont get your tickets this weekend as they do not work on weekends.
For other options you can use your bank card and pay on wakanow, travelbeta and travel start nearly same prices

For Qatar, I had to eventually choose the book on hold option, then I did a transfer to their account. It took almost two days after calls and emails before they confirmed the payment. The Qatar staff at their airport office said I should have transferred to the gtb account instead. I did to their standard chartered. They listed about 3 accounts.

After payment, I called and it took me to their Indian branch. They couldn't help much but asked me to send my proof of payment to the Lagos email. Stressful!

Same issue I had with Stanbic, waited over 2 months. I had to cancel and use the black market as well. The annoying part was that I was charged N5,000 for form A even though money wasn't disbursed. Absolutely ridiculous.

1. Will everything be scanned together or one by one? : Scan individually, except for documents with more than one page. Each document has a section to be stored under (eg. financial evidence, employment etc)

2. Will the scanning be in colour or black and white? : I think colour is better so everything comes out clear, including documents with photos

3. Is it a must that I must wait for a day to my biometrics date before I upload or I can do it now? : You don't have to wait if it's self-service, as long as you are sure you have all the documents you need to scan ready, go ahead. But note that once you click the submit button, you can't add anymore documents, except at the application centre (but comes with a charge). All the best!

I don't think so. I saw linked even before I did my biometric. I saw it when I used my phone trying to find closer dates while waiting for my walk-in appointment.

Linked is when you have had a date and even done biometrics. The link botton just directs you to a page where you'll see the status of ur visa processing.

While amend is when you have a date and u want to amend that date. Amend botton means you have not done your biometrics

So those with link botton are far ahead than those with amend botton. Because link botton people have processed their visa via doing biometric and amend botton people have not even done their biometrics

Actually, while I was there for my appointment, a lady who came in with her family for an 8:15 appointment was not attended to. The TLS official told her the time was wrong or something like that. Had to do with picking a super priority time. She tried explaining that it was what she found and not her fault. But she was asked to rebook. Lucky for her, her dependant had a date two days after which she used for a walk-in. Notwithstanding, it wouldn't hurt going to find out yourself, who knows, your case might be different. I am guessing it has to do with the 0:15minutes appointments.

I believe work reference would suffice. Just inform the university and hear what they say. I was asked for an academic reference but since I have been out of uni for years, I could only provide a work reference which was accepted. And some schools understand this. So, to be on the safe side, find out from your university. All the best!

I stand to be corrected, i believe work reference is different from academic reference. You will need to get the academic reference from your school and also from your department.

She can check online. I wrote my WAEC in 2004 and was able to check online with a scratch card.
