I know some will blame me for what am about to say but this is what i cant live with anymore,
Let me start by introducing my self , i work with one of the new generation bank as a contract staff in lagos , am married with a kid, i have some of these chinese customers that i attend to as a marketer. It got to a stage that i started taking money from there account and the last transfer i made blew up but thank God the chinese did not really understand what happend, my boss called me and i lied to him but he later made his own enquiry and found out all my atrocities, he gave me a call that he needs to speak with me and dat we needed to go to a secret place, i waited for him and he pick me up and took me to a hotel he got a room and we went in, as u all know i have commited a fraud and i cud not refuse him, but my hope was dat he wanted me to tell him the truth were no one will hear us talk. all of a sudden as we got into the room my boss started attacking me with series of question and. I told hime the truth, he suprised me when he started tto touch me and was telling me dat my secret will remain secret if i allow him to sleep with me, all this while i was on my knees crying begging him to forgive me becos we are all human beign, but he staryed unbottoing. My shirt , i fwlt so bad that i felt like killing him if i had the opportunity at the moment,
To cut mY story short i was crying and begging him as he was unbottoning my shirt, i had to quickly tink of wat to say to stop him him becos i cant imagoine myself sleeping with him wen i had my rings still on my finger and i cant cheat on my husband.
I had to lie to him dat i was pregnant and he just paused and said we shud leave imm, he promised to keep my secret but i felt so bad at his behaviour becos this is someone i look up to like a father and my husband respect him too.
I know what i did was bad at first but why wud my boss tink of sleeping with me becos of mt silly mistake.i fwlt so bad and dirty at the moment and at that point i decided that am ready to face any consequence but i swear i will deal with him. I will make him regret what he did to me, i swear i will show him the power of a woman.i know i might have done wrong but i cant stop crying at his behaviour towards me
Career / Construction Workers Kidnap: 5 British Military Planes Arrives In Nigeria by lollydyss: 4:01pm On Feb 23, 2013
B*R*E*A*K*I*N*G News! Construction Workers Kidnap: 5 British Military Planes Arrive In Nigeria.

An attempt to rescue abducted seven expatriates working with SETRACO Construction Company in Jama’are local government area of Bauchi State might be under way.
Five British jet bombers yesterday arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

Media exclusively sighted the bombers which were parked at the international wing of the airport.

The foreign workers, who included five Lebanese, a Briton and an Italian, were abducted last Saturday by unknown gunmen in Bauchi.

Media further gathered that the bombers might be on their way to prepare ground for the eventual rescue of the foreigners.

The jet bombers were said to have arrived in the early hours of yesterday while their colours comprised three ash and two army green. The army green jets were marked “Royal Army”.

Media further observed some foreign soldiers putting on brown camouflage uniforms were entering one of the army green jets in preparation for departure.

It was further gathered that some of the jets had started leaving the airport for certain locations to assist in the rescue of the kidnapped foreigners.

The four grey-coloured jets departed the Abuja airport at about 5.55pm, leaving only the army-green jet at the airport as at press time.

The entry of the jets, the military source said, was to prevent the recent failed rescue operation in Sokoto where the terrorists killed the foreigners before they could be rescued by the security agencies, including foreign officers.

When contacted over the unusual sighting of the jets, the British high commissioner in Nigeria, Mr. Rob Fitzpatrick, told Media, “This is routine military-to-military engagement.”

Britain’s Foreign Office had said two men were held by terrorists associated with Boko Haram, a radical Islamist sect in Nigeria blamed for more than 300 killings this year alone.
A senior British government official said the kidnappers appeared to be from an al-Qaida-linked cell within Boko Haram, but not within the group’s main faction.

Family / Dangerous Thing We Did As Kids by lollydyss: 7:57am On Nov 21, 2012
I picked up this thrend somewhere i just feel i should share with you guys to share your experience as a kid...funnt things kids did, only God saved us all.

These may sound funny but there is the saying that "Little children have guardian angels with them always". I believe this because I know what I passed through during my childhood days.

If many of us would remember when we play with "drip container" as football, we use to go inside a lagoon to search for this object, and even as try to remove the syringe on it, we mistakenly injured ourselves with it. . We are so naive about STDs and other contagious diseases.

Do u remember when we use to play with condom like it is balloon? . Jesus! *pukes* excuse me.

I remember climbing on a pig just because I saw a man on a horse on T.V. .

Yeah! We use to use rubber band to make catapult and use paper to catapult ourselves . I almost had one eye when someone used an iron-like object to "fire" me. .

The "acrobatics" . I lost a tooth while showing some skills. . "baflit", "steady"etc. . One I tried doing baflit on a fence believing that the saw dust on the floor will protect me. I had a fracture that day . *sighs*

Yes! Riding keke and tyre and even competing with cars . Use to do that with our newly purchased pants . I lost a friend in the process while he tried to cross the road with his molue tyre . Well, maybe he has no guardian angel . There are more. Let me think....

1    Flood was our best friend those days. . We use to swim in any kind of water be it black or mouldy. What? U think it was disgusting? U really missed something .
When it rains, u will busy swimming in the gutter-like pool when a "shi.t" will pass by you. Damn! . Life .

I remember "white sand" in Orile Iganmu, where we use to catch little fishes and play football.lol(tad poles)

2.    Flying kites was not safe either cos we use to focus on the kite in the sky without knowing where we step our foot in. Check most nak.ed wires in some ghettos and u will see some evidence of unlucky kite pilots .

3.    Those days we use to put everything we buy in our pocket. Like kuli-kuli, offio, even bread , fish roll, buns, suya etc. There was a day I was asked to buy utapiapia and used the change to buy kuli-kuli and put both the kuli-kuli and utapiapia in one pocket. . God thank you so much for your love.

4.    children of these days are missing big time o!
.
Me wey fit roll tyre from Ejigbo to Isolo during my days with pant....LOL!
.
Going to swim on one place called koto aye not far from NNPC...I nearly drowned at a time if not for help!
.
My trusting people started from my childhood, I can follow you to your house (sometimes 1 hour walk). Looking back now...I just thank God....eating up and down also...Hmmm!

5.Those days we used to use bag of garri as vehicle where one person will sit on it and another stronger person will be pulling it on a cemented floor. We did it until the bag will tear to pieces and even affect someone's pant

which one did you do during your time?

Family / Woman Allegedly Boils 2year Old Stepdaughter’s Hands by lollydyss: 4:54pm On Nov 08, 2012
Woman allegedly boils 2year old stepdaughter’s hands

Though she's claiming the little girl mistakenly put her hands in hot water. Culled from Sunnews Online. See it below...
Residents of Langbasa, a community in Ajah area of Lagos, are accusing a woman in the neighbourhood of causing a grievous harm on her two-year-old stepdaughter. Kehinde, as she’s known, is in trouble for allegedly dipping the two hands of her little stepdaughter, Esther, into oven-hot water.
The girl’s hands were boiled terribly, and many are raising concern that one of them might have become utterly useless. Esther, it was gathered, lost her own mum about a year ago a few days after her first birthday. The poor little girl has since been living with her father, known among residents of the area as Baba Eleja. Baba Eleja, Esther’s dad, later brought in Kehinde, a mother of three, as his wife. He put Esther in the care of his new wife, Kehinde.

Trouble started for the woman on Wednesday, October 31. She wasn’t feeling good and invited a nurse to prescribe drugs for her. It was the nurse that noticed Esther’s boiled hands. The nurse also realised that the little girl was very unhealthy. She sought to know what was responsible for the little girl’s condition and Kehinde allegedly explained that the girl mistakenly put her hands inside a bucket of hot water in the room. Obviously not satisfied with that explanation, the nurse went to inform Kehinde’s neighbours about the strange development.

Many of the neighbours, who had all along suspected that all was not well with little Esther as Kehinde was always beating her, rushed to the room to see the girl. One of the neighbours, who described himself as her father’s kinsman, spoke to the reporter. His words: “When we saw Esther, lying on the floor with her boiled hands, we were moved to tears. We feared that the poor girl might die any moment from then.

We quickly made efforts to rush her to the hospital for treatment. I don’t think Esther was the one that dipped her own hands in the hot water. In fact, if you see that damage done on those hands, you would know that somebody must have dipped those hands in some boiling water. The hands were boiled to the wrist. Even that poor girl wouldn’t be able to use one of the hands again.” Another resident of the area, a woman, said Kehinde never spared the cane on the little girl.

“She is always beating the girl with canes. You can even see scars of the wounds that her canes inflicted on the girl’s body. Since we noticed what happened to Esther, we have moved her away from the woman. Earlier today, when the girl saw her stepmother, she was so terrified that she cried and ran away. That shows she (Kehinde) has been wicked to her. I advise the relatives of the girl’s mother to take her away from her father so that something more terrible than this doesn’t happen to her,” she told the reporter.

When Daily Sun sought to speak with Kehinde in her husband’s one room apartment in Olugbe compound in the community, her husband as well as some of her relatives wanted to prevent the encounter, saying they didn’t want the family’s dirty linen washed in public. Explanations by the reporter that since the matter had gone to the police, it had already gone beyond their private domain, did little to persuade the angry relatives. In fact, at a point, Baba Eleja got angry and rushed to the nearby Langbasa police post where he reported the “intruding” journalist.

Meanwhile, other relatives as well as the landlord of the apartment granted audience to the reporter and urged Kehinde to grant an interview. In the course of the interview, Baba Eleja suddenly materialised with a policeman in tow, apparently to get the ‘busybody’ arrested. But as soon as the police officer discovered the reporter’s identity, he asked the journalist to continue his job. He advised the enraged husband to cooperate with him. Amidst verbal invectives being hurled at her by neighbours and some relatives, who believed she did dip Esther’s hands into a pot of steaming water, Kehinde told the reporter her story: “It happened a few weeks ago.

That morning, I noticed that Esther was looking very dull. So, I asked her to come to me and I gave her a potty for her to urinate into. I discovered that the urine was black, which showed that she was sick. So, I didn’t allow her to go to school. That day, I was also bleeding because I just had a miscarriage. After a while, I kept a bowl of very hot water that I wanted to use on myself beside our bed and rushed out to the kitchen. Suddenly, I heard Esther’s piercing cry and I rushed back into the room only to see her struggling with the bowl of hot water.

By the time I could rescue her, she already boiled her two hands. I thought she wanted to drink water because she was eating the rice that I cooked for her and my own children before I left the room. I quickly went to borrow N100 from a neighbour with which I bought some balm that I applied on the hands. I also gave her some drugs for her fever and she soon slept off. “When her father returned from work in the night and noticed what happened to her, he beat the hell out of me, in spite of my condition. It took the intervention of our landlord before he left me.

Since then, Esther has been staying with me at home. She has not been going to school and I’ve been doing my best to treat her. “But a few days ago, I invited a nurse, who is also a neighbour to attend to me. As a result of the miscarriage, I have been feeling very weak and I have lost a lot of blood. The nurse came and I was lying on the bed. Esther was resting on a mattress close to the bed.

The nurse came to attend to me but when she saw Esther, she looked worried and asked what happened to her. When I explained, she asked why we didn’t take her to hospital yet and I said I didn’t have the money and that I was expecting that Esther’s father would do that. “The nurse promptly attended to me and hurriedly left after examining Esther’s boiled hands for two or three times. It wasn’t long after she left that a crowd of neighbours broke into our room to see Esther.

They soon pounced on me and started beating me. It took the intervention of policemen, who were invited by some of them, to rescue me from the mob. I would have been lynched. They thought that I deliberately dipped her hands into boiling water. I didn’t do that at all. I have always been taking care of Esther as if I were her mother. Even people call me Mama Esther because of the way I treat her. I couldn’t have done such a terrible thing to her.”

Nigerian Girls Invent Urine-Powered Generator

Possibly one of the more unexpected products at Maker Faire Africa this year in Lagos is a urine powered generator, created by four girls. The girls are Duro-Aina Adebola (14), Akindele Abiola (14), Faleke Oluwatoyin (14) and Bello Eniola (15).

The generator is on display at an exhibition in Lagos Nigeria where people from the tiniest villages to those from big cities are talking about making stuff. This is part of an initiative by ‘Maker Faire Movement’ which seeks to showcase how traditional handicrafts can be a solution in the wake of expensive robot.

Their invention ensures that 1 Liter of urine gives you 6 hours of electricity.

The system works like this:

1. Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which separates out the hydrogen.

2. The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder.

3. The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which is used to remove the moisture from the hydrogen gas.

4. This purified hydrogen gas is pushed into the generator.

Celebrities / Lola Alao Responds To Bisi Ibidapo-obe On Pregnancy Scandal by lollydyss: 8:45am On Oct 30, 2012
During an interview with E24 magazine, pregnant actress Bisi Ibidapo Obe revealed that her colleague, Lola Alao introduced her to the man she claims is responsible for her pregnancy, ex Reps member, Dino Melaye, and she also alleged that Lola, after having introduced her to Dino, started dating the lawmaker.

Lola Alao has come out to deny Bisi's claim. What she told City People below...
Bisi should leave me out of her pregnancy mess. How can an adult like her not know who impregnated her? Is Bisi a small girl, that I Lola, will now carry and give Hon Dino to date? It is sad that she has dragged him into this mess. Is she the first actor or actress that Dino will help? Why is she making a deal out of meeting Dino? Dino has been my friend for years and was even at my movie premiere several month back where he donated N10million. I wish to state categorically that I have never dated Dino, I am not dating him and can never date him because he's like a brother from another mother. It is quite unfortunate that Bisi is scandalizing Dino this way. Everything smacks of blackmail to me. Maybe she thinks since Dino donated N10million at my launch , she can scandalize him and make some money off him. I leave her to her conscience.

Family / Nigerian Youth Are Lazy And Dont Read- El Rufai by lollydyss: 7:26am On Oct 26, 2012
Amazingly, the controversial pint sized former minister of the FCT and now chieftain of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Malam Nasir Elrufai, has accused Nigerian youths of being lazy and quick to judge.

Elrufai made the accusation today on the Social networking site, Twitter (see tweets below)

Elrufai was apparently reacting to the youths who regularly accuse him of corruption and high handedness when he was in office. Elrufai is currently facing a corruption charge at an Abuja court bordering on the lands he seized from legitimate owners and reallocated to friends and his wives and Underaged son.

Amazingly the same Elrufai who is so sensitive to criticism regularly insults the person of the President of Nigeria on his facebook and twitter profile, using foul words to describe President Jonathan.

It may be recalled that Elrufai had asked Nigerians not to vote for Muhammadu Buhari in October of 2010 alleging that Buhari was too old to be president and that he was primordial having chosen his military vice, Tunde Idiagbon, from the same region (North) as himself. However, just two months after making that statement, Elrufai became one of Buhari's chief campaigners asking Nigerians to vote for the man he had condemned only weeks ago!

Family / We The Mothers Of This Country Place A Curse On The Land Of Aluu by lollydyss: 11:01am On Oct 10, 2012
We d mothers of dis country commiserate wth our fellow mothers over d loss of Ugonna, Tekena, Lloyd and Chidiaka. No doubt they were to excel, but d evil community in d name of Aluu in Portharcourt Rivers State cut dem short. Nevertheless, dey will never die cos dey will forever live in our Hearts. And in dis our Country Nigeria, never again will such happen cos whn d nemesis dat has befallen Aluu will start to boomerang, even their graves will be too hot for dem. We therefore decree and say with one voice dat d Aluu student who is d borrower, their chief and the killers be made to die d same way - naked, beaten into pulp and marched to d same execution ground where their heads and faces will be smitten with woods, planks and stones, thereafter set ablaze. This will not bring back our beloved sons,we knw, but it will serve as a deterrent to people. On dat day, our ever sleeping police will go to sleep as usual and will ignore evry call made to dis effect. As for d so called mothers of dis community who went to sleep so dat dia husbands and sons can carry out dis dastardly act, Ʊ will nvr evr know peace again. Ur sons shall before ur eyes be cut down in d same manner for no just cause. And for Aluu - Ʊ hv just danced d dance of d spirits. Not until u produce d borrower, d chief and d killers, ur community will never have any male child dat will live past d age of 24. Dos children u slaughtered were between 20 to 24. On their 24th birthday, each male child of your comminity will die a gruesome death and his carcass fed to d vultures and flies. On dat day your hearts will bleed just like the hearts of d real mothers of dis Country Nig, are bleeding now and u will find no one to console u cos ALUU is a condemned community. Ugonna, Tekena, Lloyd and Chidiaka, rest in d bossom of d Almighty. U can never ever be forgotten. Adieu beautiful Sons. For dos who are saddists and not real mothers, ignore dis. Pls pass to all mothers in d country. We have decreed.
